1 Lombard Street in City of London, Westminster

This was my second visit this year, this time for my wife’s 50th birthday, our party of 6 really enjoyed the food, the main meal and all you can eat salad are of a very high standard. We all enjoyed bottomless Prosecco, the service was excellent, Claudia and Saba could not do be more helpful, they were professional and friendly and discretely topped our glasses throughout our stay. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The experience is made complete by the excellent DJ who plays a range of upbeat soul, disco and dance songs from the last 60 years. For 2 hours we were transported to a very happy place, good friends, good food and drink and an amazing atmosphere! We will be back again soon. Highly recommended.

Wow, what an amazing experience. Excellent music and great service. Attended for a hen do and it was so much fun. A huge thanks to Pedro who went the extra mile due to a food intolerance that I have. I would definitely recommend and return.

Absolutely Fantastic experience, we left Plymouth at 8am for our 3pm booking, we saw a review on Instagram and decided it was a perfect way to celebrate a 60th birthday. From start to finish it was fantastic Saba was brilliant, welcoming attentive funny and just so amazing, our glasses were never empty, all the staff were brilliant but we all just loved Saba! The salad starter was delicious but the main for me was run of the mill as I had steak, our only "gripe" was that a gratuity was automatically added which we hadn't expected, we wanted to tip Saba personally, but we were OK with it, it was absolutely worth the extremely long day just for brunch, we all left exhilarated and with sore feet from all the dancing!! Awsome day thank you everyone xx

Our server was very attentive. Unfortunately our steaks were very rubbery all else was good. Particularly enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding

We went for the £25 steak, frites and wine deal on Fridays. The steak is a rump, pretty decent, chips were great and sauces too! The venue is impressive too.good value for money deal. Oriol who looked after us was switched on, funny and overall just a great staff member .

My friend and I had an amazing being at 1 Lombard Street. The atmosphere was gorgeous and we had amazing seats. The food was delicious and arrived very quickly. Our server Saba was so lovely and attentive! We felt very well taken care of as he made sure to check on us frequently. Definitely an asset to the team as I was noticing that other waiters close by weren’t as polite and patient as Saba!! We will certainly be back again and hope Saba will be there.

VERY underwhelming. We were expecting something special and all in all was a massive disappointment. Our visit has been on the cards since December and we finally got to go. We had the sirlion steak (ordered well done and came medium) and was just ok. Fish and chips was good, but the peas were terrible. The homemade tartar sauce was the best thing on the plate. The cod with clams and sauce was dry and grey. The desserts - the sticky toffee pudding was delicious, the Bakewell tart was revolting, looked uncooked and tasted of fat. The service was almost non existant. Kept having to remind them of our drinks (which was just a bottle of water so not particularly hard). Not a single smile, or warm welcome. Would not recommend. We had high expectations and were sorely disappointed. Avoid.

I went to 1 Lombard Street for one of their 2 hour bottomless brunch sittings on a Saturday. Very busy, so advance bookings are necessary. Foremost for a restaurant, the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. Two of us had steak and two had lobster. My steak was the tastiest I have had in a long time. The service was amazing, attentive and not intrusive. Glasses were frequently topped up, and it was all done with a smike! Victoria was an amazing waitress. Brunch is £50 per person plus 15% service charge. Really recommend for couples or small groups up to 6 or 8. Will definitely be returning.

Saba our waiter was extremely helpful and very attentive to what we want and always come to fill our glass. And I asked for mint tea and he said if we don't have it I will surely find ways to get it. Came in after work to have some cocktails at the bar. Enjoyed some lovely drinks from the bartender called Joe. He provided great service and knowledge of drinks, making for a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely come back.

Went for the Friday offer for £25 steak frites and glass of wine, which was decent. Service was great and attentive. However we ordered a starter (the shellfish cocktail salad) which was about £23 and was tiny. The sticky toffee pudding was a bit disappointing. I expected high prices with at least quality and taste, but this wasn’t up to standard unfortunately.

This is not the first time I visit 1 Lombard street restaurant and each time I do, it’s always hands down a smooth and satisfying dinning experience. On this occasion I came in for breakfast and had the poached eggs on toasted sourdough bread. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Simple yet such an enjoyable meal. In addition to that the service I had from Liliana was exceptional. She greeted us with a smile making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. She catered to every question we asked with clear knowledge of the menu and overall made a positive experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again and will continue to recommend to friends!

Had a brilliant lunch with colleagues at this beautiful bar and restaurant! I believe our server's name was Lilly, she made us feel at home and welcome, and was able to give us local recommendations as to where to go! We returned in the evening for drinks, a great selection :) When she found out we were German, she had a meaningful conversation with us about where she was from and we had an overall great experience with her. Popped in here for a couple of cocktails and were mesmerized by this place. Me and my partner sat at the bar and were served by Joe who was quick with our drinks and very friendly. We ordered a couple of cocktails each but the two that stood out to us were Shes a Suitor and Shrubarb & Ginger. Very nice and will definitely be returning.
