Aqua Chinese Restaurant in North Lanarkshire

Jumped into a taxi and asked the driver to take us to a good Chinese restaurant. He took us to the Aqua, and it was a good choice. Good menu with a wide range of dishes. Good , friendly helpful staff served us promptly and the food was well presented, tasty and good portions Decent price too. Well worth a visit

First time in Aqua for a meal we were not disappointed ...the 4 meals were amazing and the staff so friendly .. we definitely will be back .

Decided to try a carry out after previous visits for sit in. My last review said it was good but this take out was frankly rotten. The sweet and sour I ordered came with very little tasteless watery sauce and the batter covered chicken had been around the block a few times (suspect re heat) and of very poor quality. The veg in the meal was uncooked and the pineaple was nothing more that the hard husk in the middle of the fruit which we all dump in the bin. This time it all went in the bin. Sorry Bee, but you took good money for this rubbish

Listed as a chinese restaurant but wrong. This is an asian restaurant with a good selection of Thai and Malasian food on a very large menu choice. The staff are very welcoming and in particular the busy little waitress called Bee who is Malaysian in origin and really nice and attentive. From Sunday to Friday they do a 3 course dinner for £11.95 and this is off the main courses on the main menu so great value for the price. Only thing I would say is the sweet and sour and sechuan sauces could be a bit more tasty but in general all the food arriving was nice and hot, good sized portions, and well cooked and presented. There is also a good vegetarian choice. It is a nice little restaurant so no great wait that you can get in larger ones This was our first visit and we will be back. In the meantime we will try a carry out as well.

Our first time in Aqua. Very good menu, Malaysian and Chinese. Good service. Attentive service. Excellent food. Well worth a visit. Different from other Asian restaurants we've visited

A small restaurant with personal service. Made feel very welcome and not just another diner. I had spare ribs to start and chicken satay for main meal. Cooked to perfection and big portions too. No drinks licence as yet, but feel free to take your own. Please don't be put off by that as the food more than makes up for that. So good we went there for Christmas dinner.

Recently visited this restraunt and can only describe as totally disgusting I don't know about intone else but compared to normal Chinese restraunts this is terrible.0rdered a chicken curry and what i can say is this is NOT chicken god only knows what this is

We tried the take away munchie box which was amazing and good price too. It came with enough to feed 2 defiantly if not more. Would defiantly recommend to anyone. Give it a try!

Had a take away a few weeks ago and was superb so decided to re visit with family last Friday... Menu very large with a great range from Chinese to Malaysian... Decided to try something different and settled on the sambo Malaysian curry on the advice of staff and it was fantastic. Would definitely recommend a visit Very reasonably priced also.

As soon as i walk in they smile at me and food is great the curries are good in flavour same as the salt and chillie chips

The food here is so delicious and exotic. Always greeted with a warm welcome and it is also family friendly. Have recommended to friends.

Doesn't look much from the outside but as soon as you enter & venture upstairs you get a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. Food decent & arrives swiftly. Take your own booze!

I have been to aqua about 8 times since it opened (which isn't that long). The food is always great giving a diverse approach to Asian cuisine. I would recommend the salt and pepper box, salt and chilli chicken, special chow mein and the the salt and chilli chips. The staff are always very welcoming and are always there for a wee chat when I go to collect my order. Its nice to a whole family work together but have individuality at the same time. Keep up the great work guys!

Ordered some takeaway from Aqua as I saw it advertised locally. It hasn't been open long. The menu is extensive with a lot of menu items that are not your usual fare. It was also very reasonably priced which was good. We had the Wun Tun soup which was fresh and piping hot, plus we had two chicken main courses which honestly are the best I have ever tasted. The chicken was lovely, not all hard and chewy and the sauces were delicious. The Chicken Garlic, white wine sauce was just delicious.

Good food for price under £15 Takes 5-10 minutes for each dish to cook I'm loving it there also been there a few times

Absolutely delicious Malaysian food! It's so exotic and I am amazed by what I have tasted! If you are looking for a restaurant or a takeaway if you have family or friends over I recommend Aqua!
