Bar Bruno in City of London, Westminster

Dont know what is wrong with these people but i came in just to have a look, and i clarified this a couple of times. After changing my mind and ordering one of their sandwiches (which was toasted, and wrapped up for me) i found a ball of chewed up gum in one of the sandwich halves…

Have stopped here a few times for breakfast and coffee. This is a long established place and popular. The staff are great and very helpful. Small seating area Inside but there is further seating downstairs. The food is great and cooked to order. I had the eggs benedict which I really enjoyed. Have been back several times and would definitely recommend.

Went in with the full intention to get a breakfast but the counter full of panninis stopped me dead. Ended up going for a delicious hot mozzarella, olive and sundried tomato pannini. Excellent tasting food and a charming little cafe, will definitely come here again!

In need of a proper breakfast after a late night, I found this little gem thanks to Google. I was sitting in a Pret, googling breakfast options which would get me through a long day and the mundane of a coffee chain, was not going to do it. You can always tell a great place for breakfast because all the trades are in there. The server was very helpful, the food came quick. It was hot and delicious. The tea was like amber nectar (the hotel I was staying in, didn't even have a kettle!) I realised they have other lunch and dinner options so will definitely be returning when I'm next in London. Beware of the set menu extras!! Even having a coffee instead of Tea cost extra, expect to pay up to £17 for a fry up

This restaurant is amazing. We have got to know this restaurant by chance. My father and I love this restaurant because they have delicious English breakfast. We came many times to this place. We recommend the Royal Eggs and vegetarian English breakfast.

Authentic cafe. Well run and decent food . Friendly staff and I would suggest trying the lamb shank or liver and bacon.

It is a typical London cafe. Almost all of them have disappeared after the pandemic, but Brunos is a treasure in the middle of the bustle of Soho. A very good service. Delicious food, and the best at a fair price.

Firstly this place didn't look like much, but once inside there was great music, food and service.

If you’re looking for a quick service and great food for a good value, then this is the place! The English breakfast was perfect, made with fresh ingredients and so tasty! Everything was served quickly so perfect if you’re a bit in a rush.

Its awsome experience, bruno breakfest is huge and very tasty. Highly recommend.

I came here for my second time recently after having searched for the place, not remembering the name, and had been very glad to find it. I ordered Cannoli and requested garlic bread which they made for me, which was outstanding, thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent and I felt very welcome. The atmosphere of the place is also wonderful, I really looking forward to visiting again, fully recommend this place.

Nice place with value food and drinks

Cannot rate this restaurant highly enough! It was a busy Saturday evening when everywhere was heaving with no room, Bar Bruno went out of their way to find space for seven, the portions were large, the prices were very reasonable, the service exceptional and a great time was had by all, highly recommended and would go back anytime!

Couldn't love this spot more, proper old school cooked breakfast (veggi for me, it did come with toast and beans also , but i opted out of them) with a cuppa. Enjoyed every mouthful . The menu is pretty good for such a small place and very reasonably priced. I'll def be back next week to try the sandwiches which looked great, the huge bacon and egg sandwich in particular looked fab, and the jacket spuds. Go here and avoid the usual dull and monotonous chains that over charge for the same old crap, this is much more like home cooked food which is hard to get in London these days

What can you say very few of these sorts of places left in Soho as the chain restaurants move in and the prices go through the roof. Wonderful normal filling good with fast service and amazing prices. Keep up the good work don't go all high end on us.

Been using this cafe for years, the food is great and the service is good. I’d recommend to everyone. Food selection is very broad, something for everyone. Franco and his team are brilliant, absolutely the best cafe I’ve ever used by a country mile. Best English breakfast in London or anywhere in my opinion

Típico local de sandwiches (bocatas) y desayuno londinense para take away o comer en local. Pequeñito, con aire tradicional, pero cuando lo vimos lleno de londinenses, pensamos, aquí! Y nos supo rico, barato, y nos atendieron bien.

I didn't really figure out who's Bruno, but I love the sandwiches! Really nice and unpretentious café in (the ❤️ of) London. Absolutely loved it!

There I am in the center of Soho feeling hungry and in need of a coffee ...but really don't fancy cakes or pudding at silly prices and not wanting to pay restaurant prices, when I come across Bar Bruno and get a full plate of vegetarian tagliatelle and mug of coffee at Cafe prices, in Wardour Street, cheap and cheerful, job done...

Went to a theatre and found Bar Bruno for dinner. Has a downstairs, which is where we sat. The food was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The prices were extremely reasonable and the menu range was extensive which surprised us all. We will make a point of going there again when we go to London, we loved our experience there.

Good atmosphere, good value for money, good scran I think one of the things that makes a restaurant or bar actually FOR the residents in their community is when they are reasonably priced and good value for money, something bar bruno is. I will be returning

Visited London the day before our beloved Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest. Had a gorgeous breakfast with a proper sausage at Bar Bruno , super fast service, the perfect way to start your day. 12/1/24 Second vista to this fabulous cafe in the heart of soho. The sausages are so good I had to have 2 with my cheese & ham omlete chips were on their way . Me and my fella were seated downstairs this time , I prefer upstairs , its good to people watch while you eat lol.

One of the last old fashioned Soho cafes serving freshly made sandwiches, snacks and good value full meals. Good strong tea too.

Bar Bruno serves up delicious home made food and has a big menu, they have a specials board with lamb shanks on etc. We opted for a pizza each, for £12 each they were huge & very tasty. We even took half home with us. Visit here if you want tasty food.

This is recommended as a Top3 English Breakfast spot in London and the fry-up was as good as expected. The food had the appropriate amount of grease, everything was freshly cooked & delicious, and the bread was freshly baked & well buttered. Found the service equally good as everyone behind the counter and the waiters were focused on ensuring everyone got a good experience. Finally we went during the Christmas holidays and the place was cosy and well decorated. Would love to return here but we’re tourists and unfortunately won’t get a chance until our next trip to SoHo.

Sous des airs de petites sandwicheries sans prétention se trouve un établissement impeccable sous tous rapports : service rapide et efficace, repas délicieux et copieux, atmosphère conviviale et authentique. Assi sur l'une des banquettes en cuir j'ai dégusté leur Big Big Breakfast qui est vraiment un Big Big Breakfast !! Le tout pour vraiment pas cher. Je recommande vivement

종류별로 다 먹어보고 싶어서 BBB를 시켰는데 혼자 먹으려니 생각보다 양이 정말 많더라구요ㅠㅠ 그치만 정말 너무 맛있게 먹었습니다!!! 빈 싫어하시는 분들도 많이 계시던데 저는 너무 맛있었어용...아침먹으러 또 가고싶었는데 시간이 없어서 못갔어요ㅠ 다음에 또 런던가면 꼭 갈거예요 그때는 더 작은 메뉴로....어쨌든 이른 아침부터 사람들 꽉 차있고 직원분들도 친절하시구 혼자 어색하게 갔지만 맛있게 기분좋게 먹고 나왔습니당 포장도 많이들 해가시더라구요!! 영국식 아침식사 강추!!!

Honnêtement je ne comprends pas les bonnes notes pour cet établissement. Serveuse peu souriante qui nous pousse pour libérer les places au plus vite. Le déjeuner manque franchement de qualité. English breakfast est bon mais les omelettes et les frites sont dégueulasses. Pour conclure, mis à part la rapidité et le peu cher, le reste est nul.

Excellente surprise. Nous voulions un brunch typiquement britannique, on a été servi. L'endroit ne donne pas forcément envie, mais on a été très agréablement surpris. Le service est assez rapide et efficace. La serveuse s'est montrée très enthousiaste, souriante, dynamique, et drôle. Niveau repas, c'était très bon, assez typique du brunch anglais avec beaucoup de choix. C'est très peu cher par rapport à l'ensemble des commerçants anglais. Nous avons passé un très bon moment pour terminer notre séjour.

Absolutely AMAZING locals joint in Soho. Did not disappoint on breakfast sandwiches or a beautiful full English breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hashed brown, baked beans, another hashed brown, sausage, toast... along with black pudding, bubble and squeak, and mushrooms. The beans were delicious on the toast. Everything was great with HP sauce which I'm now obsessed with. And it came with a tasty cup of tea. This is exactly the full English breakfast experience I was looking for. Look no further. It helps that it is clearly a small family-run establishment with friendly service and regular customers. Such a great atmosphere. I feel like I could live here.

Just started eating here regularly as it's close to my work. An excellent cup of tea. Service is prompt and friendly. The team seem happy. Working my way through the menu to find my favourite dish...but it's all so good.

This is a Soho Institution. I started working in the film industry in Soho in the late 80s and loved going there. These days I only get to go a few times a year but I love. It must stay and wifh its independent character. Full of life, Italian and lors of love.

I really enjoyed this jem of a corner "greasy spoon". I had the Bruno's Big Breakfast, completely fabulous but way too big for me. Cooked to perfection though. I highly recommend this place for breakfasts though they do much more.

Fantastic place to go in the heart of London after a night out. Open at super late hours. a hidden gem. Usually stumble over there after a night out and eat a delicious full English and a hot mug of tea.

If you're looking for an Old Skool caff in a less than Old Skool area, you've just found it. Gloriously free of pretension & seemingly unchanged over the decades, I enjoyed an excellent, strong cup of tea & a large bun for £4.50. Sweet. Friendly & jokey staff too.

If you like a greasy spoon (and that is not an insult), this place knows how to do it properly. Great food, the heart of Soho. It won't set the foodies heart alight, but it does what it's supposed to do, which is fill you full of great food.

Top notch tucker. Unfussy caff serving absolutely cracking breakfasts - came here looking for something to soak up the booze after a big night out and it was absolutely perfect. Friendly staff, quick service, reasonable prices and places to sit (liked the booth!). Very generous portions, and super tasty full English. What more could you want?
