Cafe Noir Coffee House in Aberdeenshire

If you are looking for an excellently prepared coffee then I certainly find it in Cafe Noir. The cafe has a very cool ambience, cosy and relaxing. The coffee was served in a very nice pottery cup and saucer and had a real good caffeine kick but not in an overwhelming way. I only usually have coffees here but the food menu looked interesting and I saw several impressed people who seemed to be relishing their food. On leaving it was nice to hear, “Thanks, it was good to see you again”. Will certainly return.

A lovely cafe which offers savoury galettes (filled pancakes) and sweet crepes, plus sandwiches and a range of drinks Delicious food. Friendly staff. A good spot for lunch, situated midway between the market square and the harbour. I gather the owner is French

Cozy little Café with great coffee and various delicious Crêpes. Very welcoming owner. Perfect for a stop and refresh after a hike to Dunnottar Castle. Loved it! (Even the teenagers agreed!)

Made welcome by staff in a homely setting. Food, which was well presented, was most enjoyable. We would highly recommend. If back in the area, this establishment will be high on our must go to list.

Really excellent ciabattas and crepes. High quality and tasty ingredients. They will customise combinations. Friendly service. Been here a few times and it’s always good.

I have been to Cafe Noir before but a while back. They are as good as ever meaning that they maintain a high standard. Today's visit was about having a Brunch Meal. Lovely fresh orange juice and blueberry muffin 😋. Coffee. I wanted to order 'breakfast' items but on a Croissant. I liked the idea of croissant with bacon and adding egg, sausage, and onion marmalade. So far do dood but the top of the sandwich had other ideas and leaped onto the floor 😳. Highly embarrassed was putting it mildly! However, everything was swiftly attended to not least by the chef who I thank profusely. So I had an additional coffee and two scones to take-away. Above and beyond their normal today. Thank-you 👌.

Wonderful cozy spot with delicious food! My husband had the breakfast plate. He enjoyed the usual breakfast items bacon, egg, sausage and was pleasantly surprised with the maple syrup pancake ( what we Canadians would call a crepe) I had a delicious ciabatta with Brie and bacon and onion marmalade! It was soooo good !! If you find yourself in Stonehaven Scotland this cute place is a must try if you enjoy scrumptious comfort food! ♥️

Lovely small informal cafe that serves the best coffee and variety of pots of tea in Stonehaven. It also has vegan food and a variety of traditional French cuisine.

Cafe Noir is an excellent place for something to eat no mater the time of day. The crepes we had were exquisite. Will be back next time we are in Stonehaven
