This place is my favourite. Brilliant quality every single time Can’t resist the Steak. And the cheesecake is unbelievable!!! Go here I guarantee you won’t be disappointed

Absolutely astonishing! I’m based in London so you can imagine the diversity of Italian restaurants around, but now I was just passing by Radstock and spotted this restaurant so I told myself it’s worth of trying. THE BEST PASTA! Food was delicious, I had Pasta Arrabiata (absolutely delicious) accompanied by a glass of Montepulcino. Service was outstanding (served by Alexandra)and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very cosy and friendly from the start until the end. Warmly recommend, 10/10!

Eat here whenever I visit my dad and food never fails us. Generous portions & delicious food. Usually quiet when we go early evening. Staff attentive and efficient.

Calm, warm, relaxed, . Overall fantastic . And to make it even better I was ale to order my food for a time on the phone and arrive to eat it within 5 minutes due to lack of time. Very happy 😊 will definitely return with the family

We dropped in on the chance of a free table and nothing was too much bother for our waitress. We were taken to our table and ordered food and drinks. The mains were of a sensible size and our desserts were nice and fresh. Looking forward to going back again soon.

The worst meal we have ever had!!! Tomato Caprese. Carelessly prepared, no spices, no balsamic vinegar, just a touch of oil. In good Italian restaurants it comes along with fresh panini. Was missing here. The Calzone Piccante was a complete mess. The dough is just horrible. Inedible. The side salad with salad dressing was also in the same pizza box as the calzone. The Pizza Castello special: No words to describe this sad taste experience.

The place is nice and the staff were great but the food is - sorry - terrible. Its the worst pizza I've ever had and it cost £16.50. Its difficult to make pizza this badly - very poor quality flour and clearly there was not time for fermentation and rising. The topping wasn't great either. I hate giving negative reviews but to pay £150 for bad quality food is upsetting.

We ate early, so hard to give it an atmosphere, as it was very quiet. But the staff were warm and welcoming and the service was attentive. The food was very good and filling. Very enjoyable, an ideal stop after a hospital appointment.

Everything we had was absolutely delicious. There was 1 vegetarian and one child in the party, and everyone loved their food and drinks. The atmosphere was lovely and cosy too. Can't wait to go back.

We had a surprise meal here for our 16 yr old . With over twenty of us in our group the service was efficient, friendly and the food was excellent. Several in our party have never been and were blown away by food and service. Thank you for a lovely evening

Delicious food and great staff. Our waitress was lovely. The pomodoro pasta dish might have been a bit rich for our 3 year old and his portion was pretty much adult size which was a nice surprise! We finished off his left overs as it was too tasty to go to waste! Save room for dessert as the chocolate soufflé is SO good!!

Well service was lacking I e inattentive staff food was hit and miss pastor dishes seemed ok not exceptional don't touch the scallops and when complaining about the pizza they still charge you for it and when you see the 2 cocktails advertised on the drinks menu it's a lie they charge you full price My advice would be to avoid this place like the plague not good

Expected more from this italian due to the good reviews, but was sorely disappointed. The tropicana pizza was the worst I had had. The pineapple tasted as if it was dipped in syrup and then put on the pizza. Far too sweet. Even though they offered a drink for free and I accepted I later found that I had still been charged for the pizza. I would have expected for this to have been taken off the bill. Unfortunately we will not be back. Definitely not a true italian restaurant

Fantastic food and service with a menu to suit all tastes.

Six of us and a baby had a lovely family meal. The waiter made sure we had time to choose and was attentive during the meal even talking to the baby. Food was lovely, everyone enjoyed it.

We visited Castello’s late on a Friday evening after a last minute booking, due to a late arrival at our accommodation Close by. The person who took my call was very helpful. Although we were eating late in the evening and were the last guests there when we left, we did not feel rushed at all. The food and wine were really good. The service was great. The tables were not too close together so even if the restaurant was full we would have felt comfortable (from a Covid perspective). If we come back to Radstock on another visit we will definitely eat here again. It may be helpful to note there is free parking a few mins walk from the restaurant in the village car park

Went there for first time since well before Covid, was always excellent before and still is, excellent food, fine wines, we tried a cheeky champagne and it was fun, went with everything we ordered, well apart from the Tirimasu, however, that in itself was gorgeous, just doesn't go with champagne😊. They have redecorated so the place looks and feels fresh and cosy, although to be honest it has always been a lovely restaurant, I'm guessing Covid has allowed some things just to be refreshed without having to close as such. Waiters are always lovely, attentive and willing to have a giggle with you, glad we have this restaurant in Radstock 💕💕

Lovely place. Had Crema pasta and it was delicious. Service was prompt, food came promptly but place got busy from 7pm and quite loud.
