Chico's Fish Bar & Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

A first visit for us and what a top night we had. The food was amazing !! We had steak which was cooked to perfection, lamb Kleftico and monk fish with king prawns from the specials board which was so delicious.One of our party is gluten free but this wasn't a problem with lots to choose from.Staff were lovely really welcoming and friendly.Great portion sizes which meant we didn't have room for desserts but saw others peoples and they looked great.Prices are reasonable for the great fresh quality good you are getting and the menu choice is huge !! We will definitely be back ..........

Popped in to Chico’s tonight and had an amazing meal.My partner had the Calamari and I had the Taramasalata for starters both we good sized portions and tasted amazing.We both had the mousakka for mains which was the best I have ever tasted. Also the homemade chips were amazing.We will definitely be backThank you Maxine and Chico

We had my parents golden wedding meal at Chico’s and we were all well looked after with good food and drinks all night, my parents have not been out much since covid due to being concerned but the said they felt comfortable at Chico’s with the screens and staff washing hands and masks being worn thank you Chico’s

We arrived at Chico's to a very warm welcome. There was a party of 18 of us, pre booked of course. But not a sign of a flap, all food was served in a timely fashion, Hot and tasty. Great Service, Fantastic Food and Atmosphere.

Table of 5 booked 12th January.When we arrived they asked if we were celebrating, we told them it was my son's birthday. We were shown to our table then the staff brought my son a birthday balloon Very nice touch, much appreciated. My tomahawk steak and my son's fillet steak and lobster were absolutely cooked to perfection. Fantastic. The other meals were cooked to perfection as well.All tasted lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly.Would highly recommend to anybody that is thinking of going there.Looking forward to returning.Thank You Chicos for a lovely night

Visited Chico's for the second time with a couple of friends and they did not disappoint. The fillet steak was cooked perfectly, it was beautifully tender. (Medium rare as requested) The couple with me had the special seafood platter for two which had so much on it it could have fed the whole family comfortably, it was all cooked perfectly and we definitely weren't stuck for choice. Service was impeccable, the team are really lovely and go above and beyond for their customers. Already planning my next visit!

Pub grub with Savoy pricesMussels in white wine sauce were awful plenty of them but smothered in what looked like double cream, so rich i could only eat 7/8 of themLobster was unrecognisable in its shell, couldnt work out what was the meat & what wasnt. We were served peppercorn sauce in a soup bowl!! 2 of them to be precise. Nobody got the steak they asked for, complete mix up.Would i go back……….no

Booked this for a birthday meal 2 adults and 2 children. We were made to feel safe and welcome straightaway with a separate greeting area, sanitiser, sectioned off tables even though the restaurant wasn’t big in size. Children were well entertained with the chalk and slate placemats/coasters, great idea! Kids had chicken and chips. We had the seafood platter and both were utterly delicious and plentiful. We were too full for dessert!

Had a great meal on Saturday night staff are so friendly and food is wonderful as always can’t wait to go again

Walk in and got a lovely greeting. Just needed two mains and a drink and all was excellent. Although a bit noisy table was there they were enjoying themselves. Staff friendly and good service. Food could not fault. Will be going again.

Everything at this restaurant is wonderful. The choice of dishes means that there is something for everyone.The food is delicious and the portion sizes will you leave you very full. Highly recommend the seafood platter.We were so full but due to the amazing food we just had to have desserts, again devineWe were a table of 6 of 3 generation's and everyone loved it.The staff are super friendly and brilliant. Also covid19 precautions in place.You will need to book in advance as very busy.

Birthday meal out with family & close friends Party of 7 , we all had different meals and starter’s & deserts. Everything was sublime , the usual high standard. Seeing pictures of the seafood online I’ve wanted to try this place for so long. Finally we got there last night for our 20year anniversary and omg we were not disappointed. We had the £98 seafood sharing platter. Like kids at xmas when it was brought out to us. It looked incredible!!!The sea bream was gorgeous, calamari was the most tender we’ve ever had, the creamy sauce in the mussels just made them taste like no muscles we’ve ever had.The staff were also very friendly.We’ve already booked to come back next month.Well done to all the staff at Chico’s that help make this place and food so good.

What can we say, everything about our dining experience was perfect, food was of the highest quality, staff couldn’t do enough for you,so friendly, it was immaculately clean and Covid safety was excellent, screens between tables cleaned after every meal. Everything was so good we immediately booked for the next night and cancelled the restaurant we had originally booked. First night we both had steaks, they were cooked to perfection and second night we had a Greek Meze to share, so much food we couldn’t eat it all but was absolutely perfect, if we ever come back to Yarmouth we wouldn’t hesitate in coming here again, all in all a fantastic dining experience

So I have been here twice now and both times had an amazing time I have only had the seafood here so I can't talk about the other options but the seafood is so good. Everything cooked to perfection and the flouvoures complimented everything so well. Will be making this place our go too sea food restaurant and I recommend everyone else does as well. Really friendly front of house staff and amazing chefs what more can you really ask for. Thankyou for a great night.

After visiting this restaurant again I really cannot fault anything here ,the food is exceptional n cooked to perfection , I had fillet steak this time asked for medium n that's exactly what I got, delicious . The staff cannot do enough for you and the level of cleanliness is 5 Omg and the garlic olives r just the best ❤

Had a fantastic meal for four last night at Chico’s , the staff were so attentive from the moment we arrived. The food was Devine , my fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my wife’s too .Our friends had a sea food platter and said they loved that too, judging by the empty plates all round. I think we all had a thoroughly good evening. No room left for dessert , but those that I could see others having looked sublime. Nothing was too much trouble , the atmosphere was so relaxed , that we ordered another bottle of wine to share. We were made to feel at home , so much so , we have already booked our next visit!

Celebrating a birthday, we were looking for a good quality Greek restaurant in Great Yarmouth or the surrounding area. Trip Advisor ratings were mostly good and so I phoned to reserve a table. I left 2 messages on consecutive days, provided my name and contact details and requested a call back to confirm availability. Several days later I phoned back as they had not bothered to call me and was dealt with by a rude and abrupt member of staff but I did manage to book a table for my required date and time. When we arrived I was shocked to find the ‘kitchen area’ in the entrance. It looked like a chip shop/greasy spoon with an eating area to the back.The ‘dining area’ was dark and shabby. Not to be perturbed, we ordered starters and mains. The starters took 45 minutes to arrive and were awful. Especially the garlic mushrooms with a thick sauce which resembled cold congealed soup. Whilst we waited for the mains to arrive we heard others complaining about the quality of the food, only to be met with an abrupt retort of ‘that’s how it comes out of the can’. Having witnessed firsthand this lack of customer service I did not bother to raise any issues we had with our starters, and so to the main courses… Why was I not surprised to receive chops which were not cooked as I requested, despite being asked how I would like them cooking. Others in my party received steaks which were both fatty and incorrectly cooked. Worst of all was a dish which was initially presented as lasagne, then changed mid-sentence to moussaka. It actually resembled a bowl of leftovers, a tasteless mush of cheese, meat, a nondescript white sauce. We could not face another minute in the heat and grease filled atmosphere so we paid and left without having a dessert. The meal was priced like a quality bistro but the reality was I would not have fed it the dog. Definitely one to avoid.

Brilliant evening everything was delicious I had homemade mossaka it was fabulous the calamari was to die for my boyfriend had lamb chops they were cooked to perfection we had a bottle of rosey only 18.90 a bottle of very fruity wine Service was excellent thank goodness they have air conditioning as it was very busy and got rather warm thank Chico’s we will be back

Very disappointed. This restaurant is not good value for money. Have just paid £100 for a 2 course meal for 3 people that was little better than a greasy cafe. The sauce on the garlic mushroom starter was thick, gloopy and unrefined. I ordered moussaka which came with chips and salad!!The dish was a nothing like a moussaka and was a loose bowl of tasteless mush more like a pizza topping on a sloppy Giuseppe . It was smothered in Italian mozzarella cheese!! Having spent many years holidaying in Greece it was absolutely nothing like a genuine moussaka and I can cook better at home for a fraction of the cost.I ordered a bottle of white Zinfandel which admittedly only cost £18 but which can be bought far cheaper from a supermarket. It tasted like the syrup from a can of tinned fruit. The restaurant itself was hot, Smokey and the air conditioning was clearly not working. When I came out my clothes and hair stunk of grease and cooking.Did not bother ordering a dessert as the restaurant is totally overpriced. I feel absolutely robbed. Paid the same money at a local gastro pub last night and the food was delicious and far superior. I would never eat here again. This is the first trip advisor review I have written as I am not a complainer but would hate for others to have the same experience my family and I have had this evening.

We ordered the fish platter- wow it was huge more than plenty for two. The service was great- absolutely nothing to complain about.

A fantastic meal in a very welcoming setting . Great menu choices and very good home made dishes. We had a 3 course meal and drinks and were very pleased with the price. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited on the 13th October with a family member we had not seen for a while. Amazing food, plenty to choose from and all the staff are friendly and helpful.

We visited this restaurant approximately two weeks ago . The meal was outstanding cooked to and perfection. Nothing was to much and the restaurant was spotlessly clean . Ps the seafood is to die for .

Visited Monday 4th October 2021 for an evening meal. The place and staff were fine and the food portions were good. However, we found the food lacking in flavour.

We had a family meal at Chico’s last weekend for a 16th birthday. The meal was superb, the best we’ve had for a long time. The service was with a smile and superb and went out of their way to help with our nan aged 92 with extra seat cushions etcThe place is immaculate for hygiene and all staff had masks on and were cautious but so friendly. An absolute gem and will now be a regular for us. Thank you for a great meal

We walked in and the kitchen seems to take up half of the restaurant. Felt little cramped due to social distancing. Staff are friendly and polite. Lamb kleftiko was nice although had a bit of an overpowering taste. Lamb cooked well, comes with either chips or rice which was nice and a wonderful tasty portion of Greek salad. Kleftiko served in a dish that seemed a little small, so a bigger plate would have been better to have it on. Homemade cheesecake with liquor was nice. Food is nice but a bit pricey, although all prices are shown outside.

We ate early here before a show. They were just opening as we arrived. We were warmly greeted and had excellent service throughout the meal. Excellent food and every member of our party commented on the quality of the chips! Not a restaurant we would have walked into as passing trade, fortunately we'd booked based on the reviews.

Chico's is a clean and welcoming restaurant. We started off with the Moules Mariniere and it was a very generous portion, it was absolutely delicious the sauce was spot on and it was served with garlic bread. My husband had the tomahawk steak for the main course, which was massive and he said it was really tender and enjoyable. I had sea bass and new potatoes and vegetables. It's the first restaurant I've been to that serves you 2 sea bass fillets! The staff were really friendly and helpful so overall I would say it was a top restaurant and would thoroughly recommend

Lovely restaurant with great food. Will definitely go back! We had the meze sharing platter and calamari and chicken wings as starters between the four of us and there was so much food I think we would’ve been fine with just the meze (which is meant to be for two). For mains, two of us had skate wing and the other two steak, one sirloin and one fillet. I had skate and it was amazing, I couldn’t eat all of it! The steaks were cooked exactly as requested and the sirloin was huge, must’ve been at least 12 ounce! We couldn’t manage desserts but we all had liquor coffees which were delicious. Really good evening

Booked in advance and I’m so glad we did. They where extremely busy. We had fresh lobster with mornay sauce, chips and Greek salad then cheesecake and strawberry basket for dessert. It was AMAZING!! We’ve never had a meal like it. Staff where very helpful and friendly and It is definitely a place we will book into for our next visit.

Great little place to eat but phone ahead and book as they were very busy.All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable we had the seafood sharing platter which was really nice well cooked and comes up in three different stages 1st whitebait calamari and taramasalata with pitta 2nd crab claws and King Prawns 3rd skate wing and salmon with lovelycrispyhomemadechips. Some might say a little bit expensive but you get what you pay for if you want just fish and chips go to a chippie. I particularly liked the fact that the kitchen is open and you walk passed it to get in and out and can see what's going on no hiding outback like most restaurants .I would say give it a try and thanks to all a Chicos great service and food

The quality of the food is always exceptional! Restaurant is always clean and the staff are very friendly and professional! If you are looking for good quality food in Great Yarmouth , I highly recommend Chico’s.Prices are slightly higher than other restaurants at the front but it does worth it!Andreas

Outstanding! We were a party of 8 (4 children and 4 adults) we booked thankfully (please book). We had the seafood platter (with a whole lobster ) tomahawk steak , fillet and rump steak. The food was the best fresh food we had ever tasted. The staff over heard it was a birthday and responded we had a balloon and birthday surprise dessert . Service was second to none .

Arrived on the off chance as we didn’t make a booking luckily the manager was able to accommodate us. My word, the food is absolutely unreal, we couldn’t fault anything. We tried lobster for the first time and it was just to die for. Lovely staff, good selection of gins. Unfortunately we couldn’t tip as we didn’t have cash so make sure you take cash with you because you will want to tip! We’re from Hertfordshire and unfortunately never found a place as lovely as this. Highly recommend.

We had delicious seafood here, staff were lovely and it's a great location. We had lobster and skate and both were yummy. Book early though, it's very popular so difficult to get a table!

What a fantastic place this is that we’ve stumbled across. Great atmosphere, service was bang on and the food was lovely. There’s a great menu to cover every taste. I had the chicken kebab which was fresh and well cooked Vic had the pork chop which was massive and very tasty and we finished off with a trio of Greek desserts. Really lovely evening and we look forward to returning to try other dishes. Good job we booked as there were no tables left and this was Sunday night. Can’t wait to return!!

Ordered rib eye steak medium rare.Wasn't cooked properly had large sinew running through it and half of it was fat.Complained and got 1 free coffeeStill had to pay for it Chips were under cooked and greasey pudding was dry.Soft drink seemed watered down as the 2nd one tasted correct.

Visited Chico’s and just wow! Amazing! Can’t even explain how good! Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing staff. Can’t fault at all and their desserts are just so tasty! Will be back soon

My friend and I visited chicos yesterday after reading the reviews on trip advisor. Now, this was by far one of the best meals out I have had in ages. This restaurant is an absolute hidden gem! Staff lovely, atmosphere amazing and food absolutely delicious!!! Ignore the bad reviews, give this place a try. Very busy, but that shows how good it is! Will definitely be returning! And thank you so much for a lovely meal!

I went to this amazing restaurant last night.....All I can say what an amazing pleasurable visit it was. So many choices on the menu, the food was amazing...I can honestly say it was the best meal out I have eaten in years....the staff were all friendly and helpful will be back!

My favourite ❤. Make sure you book well in advance , we book at least a month before because Chicos is so popular. First of two visits, i had a beautiful Steak that was cooked to perfection. The kids meals looked amazing plates were all empty at the end.Staff are always very very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Also nice to see a restaurant still taking Covid precaution seriously. Thank you 10/10

Delicious fresh seafood , served in a great seafront location with a good atmosphere by attentive and polite staff. Highly recommend the mussels and fresh Seabream. Desserts were tasty and large - those with big appetites only! My only regret was not having the seafood Meze - but that was a dish for 2 that unfortunately no-one else in my family wanted to share . Booking is essential as this is a popular place.

We visited this restaurant last year and were very excited having seen the many positive reviews. We had the seafood platter and unfortunately were very disappointed. It was fairly bland and dry and for the price we had hoped for so much more. On a more positive note the chips were outstanding! We returned recently as we hoped that it was just a poor choice of main course. Unfortunately, whilst the chips were still great the food was fairly average and disappointing. The restaurant is very small and cramped and in all honesty fairly dingey. Worst still service was very slow and not particularly friendly. I have noted some poor reviews on here recently where the restaurants response has not been particularly empathetic. This is purely my honest opinion, no need to criticise me for it! As good as the chips are, we won’t be returning!

We came across Chico’s whilst on a 3 night stay. We loved it so much we went back for a 2nd time. Food portions were very generous, tasty and staff very friendly. Only downside is the food does take a while so don’t go expecting your dinner quickly if your starving! The wait is worth it though! I will definatley go back when I visit Great Yarmouth again

Disappointing visit. Food was average and in my opinion overpriced. I wanted a glass of wine but they only serve it by the bottle! Chairs were extremely hard and uncomfortable, especially when you have to wait quite some time for food to be served. Restaurant is quite small and cramped too. In my opinion there are better options elsewhere and so won’t be returning.

REVIEW WRITTEN ON BEHALF OF MY PARTNER WHO DOESN'T HAVE A TA ACCOUNT.After reading the amazing reviews we made a reservation. When we arrived we were seated in a small area next to the entrance where people were coming in and out so it was not a nice atmosphere to begin with and the chairs were hard. We ordered the most expensive meal on their menu, a seafood platter for 2 at £98.95 and extras. We waited for over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The lobster and sea bream were dry and the prawns came without the shell (indicating they were straight out the freezer). They were soaked and covered with too much garlic and oily butter which left a horrible after taste. The crab claws were bland and tasteless. The best part of the meal was actually the chips. Very disappointing as we were so looking forward to eating fresh seafood, for this price we were expecting much better quality. When a staff member asked how our food was we told her it was not to our liking and everything was overcooked. There was no apology and the staff at Chico didn't seem to care. We were just another tourist to them passing by.The staff are not friendly and the food is not great. I would not recommend this restaurant and I don't know why this place has such good reviews.

We were told by 2 people to have dinner here if we were able to get a table. I managed to book the 6 of us for Sunday evening and the food did not disappoint. There was so much of it and everything tasted amazing. The staff were so attentive and friendly, everything was covid safe, could not rate Chico’s enough. My husband had the crab claws and while they look slightly scary, he and our children really enjoyed them. I chose the mussels and I’m so glad I did, they were beautiful. We decided then we’d have the meze platter for 2, just wow!!!! The amount of food could have fed a small army but we had a good go. It was beautiful, the home made hummus was delish and our daughter who never eats hummus absolutely loved it. The kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets and one had a chicken tikka curry, again they ate every bit as the food was so good. We didn’t bother with desert as we couldn’t move after all that, but will definitely be returning when we come to Yarmouth again.

We visited as a family of four and felt welcome from the minute we stepped through the door, the front of house ensured all those that entered sanitised their hands which was great to see. The waitressing staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble the food was outstanding. It’s best to book in advance if you want to visit as they often have a sign outside advising that they are fully booked.

We had the most delicious meal at Chico’s. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The food was absolutely divine, fresh and so tasty. There were 6 of us eating (including 2 children) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. The restaurant was very clean and Covid safe. I would definitely recommend booking here.

Completely over rated. The crab claw starter consisted of the small parts of the claw. How can you call this a crabs claw? The rest of the meal was OK but really was well over priced. Won't be returning.

Food on the whole was good but nothing exceptional as some of the reviews had led us to believe. Unfortunately service was very slow. Over 2 hours just for a main course. In end we gave up waiting for desert order as our sons disability meant he was become increasingly frustrated and anxious. Management didn’t offer any apologies and simply said that is a normal time they allow for service. A simply apology would have sufficed but just seemed to get attitude! So if you want 2 or 3 courses just expect to be there for over 3 hours! We won’t be returning!

It was our first time visiting Chico's on Thursday evening WOW....What a fantastic meal, we had the fish sharing platter and it was excellent tasting food. This is a must Restaurant to visit, the staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back next time we are in the Yarmouth area!!... Food not so good as reviews.Really looking forward to our evening after seeing the top-rated reviews and 1st place position on Trip Advisor.We had planned what we were having in advance.I had the Taramasalata and my husband the Halloumi Fries which were fine.I had the Lamb Kleftiko which appeared as a shank, which was watery and bland.I love lamb in any form but after three mouthfuls decided it just was not worth eating.My husbands Fillet Steak was fairly dry and not tender although it was medium. He did manage to eat it.We were asked if everything was okay, and said not, was told they sell lots of Kleftiko and she could smell it.Did nothing about it.When our plates were collected I told the waitress I was unhappy she said I should have said before. I obviously had, but was ignored.The best part of the meal was the Chips and the Greek salad.Would not not normally post a negative review but the restaurant had the opportunity to rectify this. We did pay in full.

The food is superb the staff are excellent, we went there tonight the staff are very friendly and attentive , if you like seafood this is the place we had mussels prawns and crab claws all lovely my wife had fillet steak which was superb highly recommend this restaurant fantastic food

Possibly the most difficult restaurant to book a table for...but OMG, it's so worth it! If you know you're visiting Great Yarmouth, book a table when you book your hotel because the restaurant is only open for 3.5 hours each night. The food is absolutely incredible. The waitresses were lovely. The tables are all separated by perspex screens. Service was nice and quick. Most definitely on the must-go-again list! Very highly recommended.

I called to book as I could see they are popular on Trip Advisor… I couldn’t get in the first night or the second but they said they would call me if they had any cancellations which they duly did so we was lucky enough to get a table on our second (and final) night.The food was divine…. So good.Portions are massive.If I return I would have the mussels as a main as they were simply delicious but as a starter the portion was quite big and filled me up which meant I couldn’t do my ribeye justice even though it was one of the nicest steaks I’ve had.My husbands mixed grill was ginormous… I have never seen a pork steak that big… Neither of us could eat the chips or onion rings although somehow my husband made room for pudding! We had 3 diet cokes between us and the bill was about £94 for the 2 of us so not the cheapest meal out but the quality of the food and the great service is well worth it.

Chico’s does the best Lobster and their seafood platters are amazing, they have an excellent varied menu , would highly recommend the beef stroganoff which is melt in the mouth delicious, they also catering for children. The service is excellent with friendly staff, we visit twice a year travelling 2 hrs as I have yet to find a better restaurant that serves Lobster!

Amazing food! I see why they are fully booked but the service WOW honestly can fault them from the second we walked through the door till we left they were so attentive and just made the night so relaxing. Would definitely return lobster was unreal and so filling!

We visit Chico’s twice a year and travel 95 miles to visit ( book in advance) we love it - a Greek steak/seafood place that is just perfect on its products menu and quality !!! Be warned some people may look at the menu and think it’s expensive - it is the adage you get what you pay for !!! As the produce is local and perfect my wife loves the lobster and the beef sirloin stroganoff Is melt in the mouth Staff are very friendly efficient and the restaurant has a great ambience- if I lived local I’d buy a season ticket - TRY

I came here with my family in June and had a great meal. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere despite the COVID measures. The menu was a mix of Greek, steak and seafood options so plenty of options to please everyone. The kids meal was good and the dessert delighted my 3 year old as it was a lot grander than expected. It’s on the pricier side but we’ll worth it. I will come back next time I’m in the area.

Absolutely Amazing food! I took my family here whilst on holiday and we were blown away by the hospitality and food. The meat and fish were cooked to a very high standard, even Gordon Ramsey couldn’t fault the dishes we had. Lol Muscles, prawns, and mushrooms for starters, and all cooked in lovely herbs and sauces Lobster, Crab, rib eye, lamb chops for mains and this was a different level, medium rare for the meat was perfect and thoroughly enjoyable! I got to taste these as very generous portions. I had the lobster which I make traditional when visiting seasides which I’ve covered most and this lobster was so fresh and tasty I would say it’s probably the best I’ve had! I even got the rest of the family tasting it for the first time it was so good! Special mention to Maxine who got me all booked in and looked after us when there. Her and the team were so helpful, friendly and polite,... even after my daughter smashed a plate. (Sorry) so thank you to all that served and made it so enjoyable. I couldn’t manage a starter but they came out very presentable and looked really nice with no complaints from anyone. THANK YOU and I’ll definitely be coming back to Yarmouth just to try something else.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was stunning, freshly prepared, hot and lots of it. We were given plenty of time to relax and enjoy our drinks after we’d eaten and we both really enjoyed our evening.

Glad I booked a table, the food was amazing and great value for money, the establishment was really clean, Sevices was fast, I couldn’t ask for more when going to got a meal.Recommend booking a table as you will not be able to just walk in of the street as it seems to be really popular.

We were visiting Grt Yarmouth this week,and came across Chico's Restaurant. Fortunately for us, they'd had a cancellation.We ordered a seafood platter for two and olives and wine. The food was beautifully presented, and was amazing to eat as well. Full of flavours and tenderness. The staff attendance was very friendly and helpful too.We would love this place where we live.A lovely niche restaurant and we look forward to going again.

The first night we ate at Chico's, it was a follow on to a disappointing meal, see the review at The Charcoal Grill, they were fully booked, but we were offered the 6 seat table just inside the door, which was fine, more than grateful to be fitted in.All the staff were brilliant, we had Whitebait & Calamari for starters, both had Sea Bass on a bed of vegetables, out of this world. The Sea Bass was not out of a bag like Iceland, in fact it was freshly caught that morning. Had house wine, a red and a rose, both were very nice, and very drinkable.Too full for a sweet, just had a coffee. Super evening meal and other food coming out of the on view cooking area was just amazing.We booked that night, for our last evening in great Yarmouth, decided to have exactly the same, boring but speaks for itself. We had a long chat with the owner on the first visit, while she did paperwork at the 6 seat table, about Covid, staff who never returned at re-opening, but rest assured, the future looks good as phone call bookings being made for August by returning customers.Would we eat at Chico's in future, we plan to revisit Yarmouth soon, the answer is a big YES.

I have to say that the team did there best but when only running two chefs and a full restaurant things are going to suffer the food was OK but not outstanding like what I was expecting the crab claws where dry and over cooked the wait was so long we ended up having to skip dessert which was a shame cause they looked so good but it was the food that honestly let it down I'm sorry again cause your reviews say such a different story but for me on this night it really wasn't good

This restaurant is amazing! The food and the staff ! We had the seafood sharer which was fabulous! Shared a dessert which was also fabulous,would definitely go again ,wish we lived nearer
