Contour Cafe in Aberdeen City

Been here 15 minutes can't coment on food as haven't received it

Have visited Aberdeen on 3 occasions now and found this lovely wee cafe. Breakfast was lovely and hope to pay a visit next time we have an overnight stay.

I really like this place. But the problem is: half of the cafe is taken up by boxes. So there aren’t many seating options - only two small tables and then window seats. I’ve visited a bunch of times and it always looks like there’s a delivery or something taking up all the space. It makes me not want to purchase a meal since the environment doesn’t feel very welcoming. Lovely coffee and vibe. Just wish the place wasn’t so covered in boxes and bags.

Absolute heart recommendation! This was the best vegan meal we had on our entire trip to Scotland. The vegan pizza was really the best pizza of my life ❤️

It’s a great spot to drink a good cup of coffee and hang out in an amazing spot. Also side note the music is really great for working. Really enjoyed it.

My wife and I had poached eggs & toast which was lovely and I had a latte. My wife could only have an espresso due to only having full fat milk or oat milk so unable to have coffee which isn’t great. My main gripe was the range of milk available, and it’s very over priced.

Had a baguette from Contour today for my lunch and it was probably the most tastiest I've ever had! Will definitely be back!

Perfect little place to sit in (or outside) with friends for coffee and breakfast. Recommend the pancakes with blueberries and full cooked breakfast

This is a hidden gem, near where the old Aberdeen Market building was. Despite the view from the place looking like a war zone, there’s a lot of thriving little businesses in this area and this place is definitely one of them. Sandwiches were £8 but you definitely get your money’s worth and there’s a nice relaxed atmosphere to enjoy while you eat them. Will definitely drop in again!

We were only in Aberdeen for a few hours and saw the recommendations to visit Contour and we're so glad we did! The cooked breakfast was excellent and the pancakes were delicious (even though we couldn't eat them all!) Service was a 10 with the team being friendly and welcoming on the cold rainy morning.

An awesome place to meet for a great coffee & food. Great service and chat from all who work their. The bacon roll was very good. I have had lunch in the past and always excellent. Great people & menu.

Disappointing. I don't understand the high reviews. It's maybe great if you're young, seating is okay. It's too noisy, it's layers of noise, music, banging the coffee machine, other customers, I couldn't relax because of all the noise, it wasn't busy. 7 slices of bacon (way too much) with three small homemade but meh pancakes. Too much water in my americano too - not great if you like a good black coffee.

Lovely food and nice atmosphere.

Als je een broodje in het café wilt eten is dit bijna 4 pond duurder dan take-away (van 5 naar ruim 8 pond!). Onduidelijk waarop deze meerprijs op is gebaseerd. We zijn met twee matige take-away cappuccino's vertrokken.

I tried a vegan full English breakfast at Contour Cafe and it was really tasty and filling. Their Americano coffee was okay, but if you like your coffee strong, it might be a bit light for you. The cafe itself is small and has a cozy feel to it. Worth a visit, especially if you like small independent cafes.

Lovely Cafe with some wonderful salads, perfect for a light lunch while discovering the city. Great location with a nice view and friendly staff. I loved the fact that they give you plenty of dressing for your salad. 🙌🏼

We went here for lunch and we had a pizza and the full vegan. Both were super tasty. The space is very cozy. The outside seating area also looked nice, but it was a tad to cold to sit outside today. The staff was very friendly.

I was happy to find this little gem. I have a wheat intolerance, so to find somewhere that I could eat and leave with a full stomach was lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful making little changes to suit my dietary needs. I will certainly return. Thank you.

Great vegan/vegetarian nosh (and other options of course). Quick service. Ample quantity. Nice place a little off the beaten path but easy to find.

Favourite breakfast cafe in Aberdeen always tasty well prepared food, great coffee too.

The "open beetroot sandwich" had barely any beetroot in it and it wasn't an open sandwich. Just a very, very dry falafel toastie. Decent flat white though.

Had a really nice experience here on a Sunday afternoon, very chilled atmosphere and friendly team. I had some pancakes with bacon and my wife had a sandwich, amazing food, nice coffee, and good music

My partner and I came across this lovely cafe while visiting Aberdeen… and boy was it a good choice!! We had the full English and a veggie English and both were amazing!! Big portions, flavours were banging and the vegan haggis was very tasty. Everyone was very happy and welcoming. I’d highly recommend Contour Cafe. And will be going back again. Thank you.

Great atmosphere, decor, food & drink. Opted for the Halloumi & Falafel sandwiches. Both were delicious and coffee was on point

We had eggs benedict and a haggis pizza. Blandest pizza I've had. I preferred the edges to the actual part with the filling, since the dough was okay. The haggis was tasteless, with big hard oat grains rather than the smoother haggis I have had elsewhere which was bursting with flavour. As for the benedict, the bacon was good however the eggs were overcooked and the hollandaise was, again, bland, and didn't have any of that nice lemony flavour you would associate with a good hollandaise. It was also too thick, a lumpy coating rather than a smooth sauce. My favourite part was the side salad because it had balsamic glaze on it, so it actually tasted like something. This place might be okay for a coffee since the caffe latte wasn't bad and the place is quite cosy, but I wouldn't recommend it for food. Pizza really left me depressed. But I'm a poor student so I still brought the leftovers home.

Great food and music, perfect for breakfast or lunch. Takeaway prices are lower than sit-down. Salads, pizzas and sandwiches made right.

I was sorry not to have had time to eat here, but the coffee was sublime, and we had a lovely chat with our server while waiting, so I left feeling quite transformed.

Great place, very vibrant yet very cozy. Food was great, coffee was great but the highlight is definitely the cake served here, must try. The team was amazing. A definite must visit.

Really friendly greet! as soon as went in.One of the best lattes I've ever had Eggs avo was really excellent. Beautifully cooked runny eggs and the side salad was delicious.and so fresh.Would definitely recommend and I well return. Thanks to all at contour.

Picked up one of their toasted wraps today and as I was paying spotted the carrot cake.......as good as their wraps are I wish I got two of the carrot cake instead....Yummy

Superb breakfast in a quiet little cafe

This place is fabulous! I had breakfast with a friend which was excellent, the coffee was fantastic and then they let us leave out bags there whilst we went for a wander around Aberdeen. The staff couldn't have been nicer.

Contour is the perfect place for brunch (pancakes are incredible!) or coffee and a cake! Great vibes

Really like it here, had a lovely atmosphere, very friendly. The outside seating area was a bonus, the sun was out so nice to watch the world go by Coffee was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the food even though it was a bit messy in a good way Little bit of street art close by as well ... Great for me as it's one of my favourite things to spot

Popped in here for a bite to eat. It was very good, had the pepperoni pizza and my partner had the vegan breakfast. Both were very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat

Lovely coffee and cake. A proper flat white

Not the best, but not the worst. I use to LOVE coming to contour, it was one of my top 3. The coffee and sandwiches are amazing, you get a great vibe... However, I've never had anything off the breakfast menu so thought I'd come past and try it. Not to be fussy, but £10 for a couple toasted muffins, sliced avo and 2 eggs is a bit steep when it's meant to be seasoned and smashed avo. There was no salt or pepper anywhere on the plate.. There would normally be hollandaise sauce with this but I didn't have it. The coffee and service was great though!

Food is absolutely fantastic, honestly probably my favourite place for lunch. It’s just a shame the service lets it down a little. Most of the staff are very friendly, however one or two not so much, but what really lets this place down is how long you’ve to wait. I’ve been in sometimes when I’m practically the only customer in the place and it still takes 15-20 mins just to make a toastie/panini… other times when its busy it can take almost half an hour, seems far too long to me

Lovely cafe we found by accident! The waitress couldn’t have been any friendlier, and the food was delicious! So much so we took half home (as well as an amazing slice of cake!). Couldn’t have been a better breakfast!

Nice little cafe down from union Street and I front of Aberdeen Market, a quite square in the middle of the city. The coffee and hot chocolate were a delight in cold weather! The staff was very nice and courteous.

The best sandwich and some of the best pizza I've had in Aberdeen so far. Ideal place for lunch. Maybe the only place in Aberdeen I've been that knows how to make a perfect coffee too! Plus, the bonus is it doesn't close in the middle of the day on a Saturday like too many other Aberdeen city centre places do!!

A nice little coffee shop on The Green. Decent coffee menu, and always seems busy. Now has a nice outdoor seating area. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area. Only grabbed coffee, so can’t comment on the food offering.
