Brilliant..Friendly atmosphere..lush food beautifully cooked & well presented good portions!

Been here a few times now. I last went on a warm Monday, on my motorbike all the way from Leicestershire. The breakfasts are so good it’s worth the 3 hour ride and sore backside. Proper thick bacon, lovely sausages and fresh eggs all served piping hot.

Popped in on lunch break for a latte and beans and cheese on toast. It was lovely and latte was amazing with a proper coffee Taste. Would recommend

Decided on a day trip to Tywyn. Arrived after a a bizarre train ride from Shropshire arrived about 11.30am. Spoke to a local lady who recommended Deja Vu Cafe. This cafe is very close to the mainline railway station. Went in waited a short 4-5 min for a table and ordered lunch. My wife had poached egg on toast with a side of chips, I plumped for the breakfast. She had tea (earl grey) I had coffee (comes as part of the breakfast). Well, first the food was piping hot on hot plates, cooked to order. Secondly freshly cooked and the chips, well a big bowl tasty chips. So full that we could not finish these. All dinners home made and local suppliers. Very clean everywhere, plenty of room and excellent very clean large toilet. We can say that we will go back and eat at Deja Vu. We can absolutely recommend Deja Vu for food. Staff, especially "young Tom" friendly and helpful. A great start to our day in Tywyn Thank you to all at the cafe.

Me and my family came to déjà vu cafe today, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very friendly, and welcoming.The food was at a very high standard. There is options available for vegetarians and vegans. I definitely recommend, it was an amazing experience. 10/10

Excellent breakfast and lunch venue, tasty food friendly staff. Expect to queue if you don't get there early but they will take your number and call you if a table becomes free. Revisited today we got there 10 minutes before opening to secure our table still 👌.

I have become a frequent diner at Deja Vu cafe, Tywyn. The food is always fresh, made to order and well worth having to wait sometimes when cafe is very busy. Never disappointed. Locally sourced foods including fresh eggs for sale. Be it jacket potato, Traditional Breakfast, a melt in the mouth ham & cheese omelette with salad [and chips if desired], everything is cooked exactly right, full of flavour and piping hot. Also the best coffee and milkshakes in town. The staff are welcoming and friendly with tables often filled with regular locals [always a good recommendation in itself]. Great, relaxing atmosphere.

Best ploughman’s salad I’ve had in a long while-generous, fresh and tasty with great staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Great options for kids too. Would definitely go again.

A really relaxed local friendly place to eat rather splendid poached eggs with the most wonderful mushrooms and a traditional well portioned breakfast. Banging brews and proper friendly people. Do stop in. Well worth it!!

We had main courses with shared chips; chilli and curry. Struggled to finish both. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere.

My partner and I along with our 3 month old popped in today for a lovely full English/welsh breakfast. The chap behind the counter was a decent bloke. “Hope your arm mends well”. Lovely food and hot plates 👏👏👍🏻👍🏻

Great food and friendly staff. Breakfast served on very hot plates, which we very happy about. Bacon was crispy as was the hash brown. Everything else in the plate was also hot. Fantastic😁

Have been here before a year ago for coffee and scone and that was great so a year later called for lunch and it's still the place to go.it was full on our arrival but we were given table near to counter and ordered ham & cheese ommelette with salad.in the meantime tables became available and we moved to a larger table.what can I say ! Best ommelette in my life and lovely fresh salad with chips.great friendly staff too. A top notch eatery.pity they don't open late at night

We have been visiting Tywyn for 20+ years and this is hands down the best little eatery. We’ve just got home from our holiday and we visited Deja Vu 4 times with my partner and 2 children. Tom is the most pleasant and helpful server, he’s a real credit to the owners and the food is out of this world. The food is fresh and beautifully presented and worth every penny. The only criticism is that we have to travel all the way from Liverpool to get the best breakfast we’ve ever had, so if you could open a little business here we’d really love it. Thanks so much for excellent service!

Had lunch here as all the local pubs were shut being a Wednesday. Friendly staff, good food and generous portions. They do serve alcohol but not draft. Definitely recommend

What a lovely little cafe this is! After having previously read some negative comments about this seaside cafe I thought I would write a review as I thought the negativity was rather unnecessary. Clearly this is a very popular little cafe as many people came through the door during the time we were there. The young man serving was extremely polite and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. Lots to choose from on the menus and they will happily change things on the menu to suit your preferences, especially for children. The breakfast was really enjoyable. If you haven’t already I would highly recommend visiting this cafe. We will definitely be going back!

All the savoury meals I have had here have been prepared to perfection, all served with a smile and piping hot (unless they were intended to be cold). The millionaire shortbread was also fantastic.

Visited this morning with our 6 year old Connor. Delicious breakfast and coffee, quick service and a friendly smile. Will definitely come again!! Had breakfasts all round. With two fussy eaters they had no issue swapping items on breakfast to accommodate. Highly recommend 😊👍x

Excellent food, piping hot and delicious. The staff were fantastic, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door. We chatted to the regulars/locals that were in there and the former owners who had popped in! We would not hesitate to go back next time we are in the area. Breakfast was really nice. We also tried omelette with cheese and ham which was tasty and big. Staff was friendly although they seemed really busy and overwhelmed. Around 30-40 min wait.

We had beautiful fresh baguettes with salad. The guy serving was so pleasant and friendly. Very good covid precautions in place. Well worth visiting when in the area. Good value tasty food and excellent service.

We visit this cafe whenever in Tywyn,Tom serves an excellent Frothy coffee,at a great price...all.food is great,even if it's just a toasted teacake.. Covid restrictions are in place to make your visit comfortable and safe.. Highly recommend

Popped in to towyn looking for a quick bite to then have a surprisingly beautiful scrambled egg on toast. Food and coffee was lovely but the service was even better. Me and the family then went for full English breakfast on both of the last...

Nice little friendly place and the food really nice and plentiful. The staff are helpful and food responsible priced. With the restrictions we needed to wait for the table, but well worth the wait.

So after reading the reviews my partner and I were more than happy to Deja vu out. We ordered 2 sandwiches which cost £12.75! After payment we were told it would be 15mins wait outside in the cold. 15mins was actually nearly 30mins and they didn't put sauce on as requested and didn't bother to even cut the sandwich so the majority of it was wasted in my palms as I tried to bite into it. In short... Not worth the tin foil it was wrapped in and nothing special at all! Don't waste your time or money

Had a huge and very tasty big breakfast! Such a nice change to have very tasty mushrooms and tomato too! My son had a big plate of chicken nuggets and delicious home made chips. The man serving was very friendly. I spied someone else drinking...

If you are on holiday in Tywyn the very best place to eat is De ja vu in the high st .The food is excellent the service is second to none and they have covid precautions in place .I would highly recommend this cafe!

On a recent visit to see family in the picturesque Welsh town of tywyn I found my self craving a fry-up. On my quest to satisfy this craving I stumbled across a pleasant looking little cafe, centrally located amongst the town on the high street....

We've had several breakfasts here and also lunches lovely lunches ..The service and the the food never fail to please ..Plates are hot and the food always looks inviting and always piping hot .

Weather it is breakfast,lunch,afternoon tea or dinner the food you order is freshly cooked it is of the highest quality it is always served on a warm plate.the chief obviously takes pride in his cooking,I have not tasted chips anywhere as good as these,the service from the waiter is second to none his latte is perfect the cafe is clean ,bright and friendly,I would highly recommend a visit to this place.

I called in for breakfast on 9th October. The egg I was served with at first was awful. The yolk had obviously been broken before cooking and what I was given was hard and unappetising. When I refused to accept it, the chef sought to evade the blame and place it on me for not specifying that I wanted a runny yolk when ordering. I found this ridiculous. He then loudly addressed me as "Buddy". I am not his buddy.I will not return any time soon.

What a gem of a café. It's at the end of the high street and well worth a short walk to get to it. Near to the railway station which was great for me while I was waiting for my train. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and although the cafe was busy they helped me bring in my 2 huge suitcases and found room for them. I only had time for a coffee and shortcake biscuit but both were delicious. Sad that I found this place as I was leaving. Highly recommend.

Went to this great little cafe today with my daughter who has been here before. The breakfast was the best I have ever tasted. The food stayed hot while I was eating it, a lot of others go cold as you are eating. The service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If you are in Tywyn that you pop in and have a breakfast yourself you will not be disappointed. Warm and friendly proprietors.

Always have lunch here when visiting family in Tywyn and never had a bad meal. Usually have the omelette as it's the nicest I've tasted anywhere, but tried the quiche and chips this time and can say the chips are beautiful and crisp. The family highly recommend the breakfast and chicken bites. Cappuchinos are very good would highly recommend.
