Duke's Lounge Bar in Sefton

Called in for early evening meal at 4pm to be told they don't serve food until 5pm. Had a look at menu however, very expensive for standard pub food plus, you had to pay extra for things like naan bread that you normally get with meal. Finished drink and left.

The menu here, is a tad limited and price is a little over the top, however food is tasty, Portion size is ok, wish they would add more choice on menu and also bring back garlic mayo and also the 3 cheese salad they once did, which was sooo tasty. Bar is lovely and clean. Staff all happy to serve you and they appear to work hard. Mainly older couples and business people eating, we did not see any children, as I suppose there is nothing to keep children's attention busy. Note that using their Car Park, you must enter your reg at front desk, otherwise you will get a fine.

enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, one of the best i have had. Fresh sandwiches with the preference we had asked for. and really lovely cakes. Staff all very friendly and lovely venue. chicken ham mayo sandwiches, cheese, and egg mayo, all fresh not processed.

We quite often meet here on a Sunday Glorious sun spot for an outdoor drink weather permitting I always take a roast home with me Delicious well cooked generous portions Friendly staff in a warm atmosphere I travel from South Liverpool never disappointed try it and enjoy.

Went here for meal in the bar area for our friends 40th birthday. Fabulous food served by such lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us . Such a relaxed environment completely abiding by covid safe rules . We weren’t rushed at all thank you all so much ! We will return & recommend to others .

My wife and I enjoyed a very relaxed drink last friday evening. The service was fast, friendly and professional. The drinks were very nice too as we sat in a relaxed atmosphere. The covid measures are sensible and you feel safe and secure

My wife and daughter normally visit the Royal early evening on a Saturday for a couple of drinks. Outs always very refined and very relaxed. It's been 16 weeks since we last visited so tonight we went for our tea. Wow! It was worth the wait. We were welcomed been like old friends, not customers. We had the posh chicken burger, a cheeseburger and a Philly cheese steak. All were totally delicious. Royal Hotel, we have missed you! See you again on Saturday as usual 😃

We had Sunday Lunch in the lounge. It was beautiful. All home made and so tastey. The staff were lovely and friendly. You can choose large or small plate and we went for small but it was plenty and wouldnt be able to eat a large plate. Well worth a visit. There is lots of choice on the menu.
