Always a joy to eat pizza at Grain. A firm, family favourite. Best to book and don't be put off by being under canvas as it's warm and cosy.

A great pizza place. I had vegetarian special- basil and mozzarella and my partner had N’Duja sausage. Friendly staff, range of alcohol and most importantly dog friendly. Recommend you book this place as it gets very busy.

Every town should have a grain, great food and drink, atmosphere and service all at a great price in a great location! What more can you ask for?

It’s a simple pizza and drinks formula but they have some interesting choices like marmite, garlic confit, Manchego and parsley pizza for example. Worth a visit for sure. This place is class, probably the best pizza we’ve ever eaten. Great wine and beer. Service was fantastic. Would highly recommend! Loved the rarebit pizza special. The olives were also delicious. We are going back for pork scratchings!

Pizza base is very thin, with a very thick layer of cheap cheese on top. The pizza just tasted greasy and was really heavy on the stomach. We won't be coming back.

Absolutely outstanding. Service was excellent with super friendly staff. Atmosphere and setting was perfect. Great choice of drinks and for me a gluten free real ale and a huge choice of pizza's and again for me even had gluten free choices. I had the BBQ Badboy and it was delicious. Don't pass this place by it was a fantastic find for us.

Absolutely loved it here. We hadn’t booked and we just wanted a place to play cards and a couple drinks. The atmosphere was so relaxed, friendly and fun. They had delightful local ales, mouth-watering pizza and went above and beyond for us.

Fantastic place just behind Mountain Warehouse tucked away in a courtyard. Superb pizzas and a fantastic selection of Bluestone Brewery beers. I particularly liked the Saint Croix IPA. My wife had the Blonde beer and a fantastic cappuccino. Cost was very reasonable. 2 pizzas, 2 pints, a half and a coffee for £44. A gem of a place.

Staying in St Davids for a few days, came across this place Coffees,craft beers, pizzas. I can honestly say this is the best place I have been to this year. The pizzas are so tasty and not at all pricey. Service was excellent and I would recommend to anyone to try this place out.

Only the second time in my life a hospitality worker has been so rude to me that I felt compelled to leave a negative review. It was totally unnecessary, unprofessional and undeserved. We gladly took our business to the pub instead.

Great beer, very good pizza and nice environment. It's a shame about the size of the pizza, if it were a little bigger, it would be a full 5 star place! (I finally realized my dream of eating a pizza with Marmite, the "Bob" - highly recommended!)

Super relaxed atmosphere, serving some great local beers as well as some excellent more mainstream beers. Pizzas were excellent, some of the best I've had! Would particularly recommend the "nduja like it spicy", the spicy sweet and savory flavours are fantastic! They're happy for you to customise/make your own pizza and the dough balls were sensational too. All for an exceptionally reasonable price. Staff were helpful and accomodating to us with a pram and had baby changing facilities. Would recommend booking as gets busy at peak times. We will definitely be revisting next time we are here. Would be a seriously dangerous place if we lived more locally on both my waistline and my bank account. Loved it!!! Thanks guys!

Fantastic pizza with great vegan options. We were impressed by the staff team too, they really knew how to look after people- they were all so friendly and professional. It was a great way to end a lovely week in Pembrokeshire. Thank you to everyone at Grain.

On holiday in St David's and just had our 2nd visit of the week to Grain. Wow! The pizzas are delicious - had Fun-gi and our favourite, Land of our Fathers which is nothing short of superb! The dough balls are awesome too, as are the beers - massive shout out to Bluestone for the Saint Croix IPA which is hazy heaven in a glass!! Finally, the staff on both nights were fab - so friendly and efficient, a real credit to the set up. Our Golden Retriever loved all the fuss she got too...

Food great ...service great...staff great...but the place was awash with barking dogs!!!! It was horrendous...completely spoilt our and everyone else's evening...the other diners were really annoyed about the continual piercing barking from several dogs!!!...they won't be going back...we know we are tourists but please can you seat dogs and their owners outside and let the rest of us dine in relative peace!! By the way I was almost attacked by a dog upon leaving...fortunately it was on a leash . If we ever return it'll be for a take out.

The four of us popped in here for some lunch. Lovely setting with lots of courtyard tables including some covered. There was also inside seating available. There were loads of set options for pizzas including a vegan option. There was also the opportunity to create your own and three of our party did this to make bespoke vegan pizzas including vegan mozzarella. I had the Hawaii pizza which I can definitely recommend. Lots of choices for drinks too, we didn't try any alcoholic ones but were more than happy with the lemonades we did order.

Busy here, book to avoid disappointment if you're a pizza only fanatic. Good service despite being busy.

Great little find when visiting for the weekend. GRAIN is always busy, and rightfully so. The combination of perfect pizza and marvellous dips, truly makes the place one to visit. I’d recommend booking a table in advance if you want a seat, plus you can’t order takeaway if the restaurant is busy. I’d recommend a table however, as the staff and atmosphere were spot on. Easily the best vegan pizza and dough balls I have had. Went back twice it was so good

We ate here last night. It was last minute, we were found a table straight away outside so our dog could join, nothing too much trouble. The food, local beer, atmosphere and staff were excellent. Don't miss out. The Land of my Father's pizza was lovely. Diolch yn fawr iawn tîm Grain

I’ve never left a good review before but felt compelled to do so for this place. Probably the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The dough balls, dips and brownie topped it off too. The maple dip is liquid gold. Unbelievable.

Fantastic pizza and dough balls, garlic butter is also excellent and I could eat it by the bucketload. Really good friendly and fast service as well. Nice little funky venue to eat in. Ignore the negative reviews, they are clearly from fairly dense people who expect restaurants like this with small kitchens to bend over backwards for them at very busy periods.

Had lunch here 6/7/23 food was beautiful the service was impeccable. 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area . Five star all the way

I barely have words for how great this place is. Dog friendly, fresh pizza and incredible dough balls! Vegan options were plenty, and most importantly with vegan cheese! Pizza base was perfect and they weren’t shy on toppings. The dough balls were piping hot and so light, airy and fluffy. Sheer perfection. Staff were great. Very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back if we’re ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

Absolute gem of a place to find. Nicely tucked away from the main streets Grain are absolute masters of traditional style pizzas. Fresh toppings, lots of flavour and a great atmosphere. Cute little bar serving craft ales, soft drinks, wine etc. Definitely will be returning and recommending to everyone. Thank you for a delicious lunch!

This place is a gem. I love a good oven cooked pizza and the dough balls are too die for. The garlic butter is soo soft and creamy. We got the vegan pizza which was nice. We were served by ELLIOT who offered great customer service . If you are ever in st David’s , this is the best, cheap place to eat a yummy pizza.

Great alternative to the more established pubs/eateries in St Davids. Don’t let the, at first glance, “car-parky” vibe of the outside area put you off. This disguises a friendly, engaging staff, a thoughtful drinks/beers menu and, not least, one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.

No idea how I haven’t written these guys a review yet (sorry)!! Have been here so many times - it’s bloody awesome. Amazing pizza EVERY TIME and the dough balls are super scrummy. We love the variety of pizzas, adding toppings and the specials are always great too. Fantastic choice of drinks (soft drinks and alcohol). This makes it the perfect place to come for any occasion: birthday gatherings, romantic date nights, chilled mate date, pizza cravings, brunch, lunch, dinner, mid-week treat, weekend plans, cuppa and a chat (the hot chocolate is delicious), literally any day or time. We’ve done them all - and shamelessly eaten here several times in one week too! The staff are brilliant and the service is too; always attentive, friendly and can’t do enough to help. The location is perfect in the middle of St David’s and there is plenty of choice of seating, outside (covered and uncovered) and inside (next to the bar or in the large eating area). Super dog friendly and always make you feel right at home. We would 100% recommend Grain - but always book ahead if want to guarantee a table, they book up fast! We ate in. Really friendly staff, delicious local beers and the pizza was really really good. We had the Strumble Head pizza and the Hawaii pizza, both excellent. Definitely would recommend to others visiting!

I've eaten a lot of pizza, and this was by far the best I've ever had. Absolute perfection. The service was brilliant and reasonably priced. Must visit if you're local or on holiday. We will be back when we're next on holiday in south Wales.

Pizza in a windy place might be fun, but the pizzas are very small and not exactly Italian... the prices are far too high for what is on offer... the surcharge for the wine is one, the Italian red one costs €6 sold in the shop and on site they charge 25 pounds... that's not okay
