Lunchtime Menu has a wide enough selection that even the fussiest of eaters would be well fed. portion size very much value for money. Service was quick and efficient without making you feel rushed to eat.

Will be back, staff helpful but not in your face. Lovely food and atmosphere.

Nice restaurant and enjoyed our food. My chicken dish was about £18 and although well presented, very dry and tough at the top. Charging city centre prices in Airdrie. Food has got to be spot on to justify that.

Had the "turkey" dinner which consisted of cold vegetables and sliced turkey which was like sandwich meat with cold gravy. The patè was served on a cold slice of toasted bread instead of oat cakes. Very disappointed 😞

Great chicken meal, good portions and price point is similar to nandos. Lovely little place with absolutely spot on staff. If you like steaks and Italian food then this place is very good.

Ordered myself a Frutti Di Mare pizza for delivery on Saturday evening. My food arrived ahead of schedule and was still piping hot. I was hopeful but was delighted as the food far exceeded my expectations, outstanding 👏. The prices may seem a bit steep but in this case, you definitely get what you pay for and worth it. The Pizza chef deserves a big high 5 🖐. I’ll definitely be returning. See you soon

I’ve been twice recently and both times it has been absolutely amazing, 10/10. Opted for the prawn starter both times because I enjoyed it so much absolutely unbelievable. Main the first time the risotto, loved it. Second time I got the rigatoni Il capo, amazing. Can’t wait to come back, I’ve been telling friends and family how good this meal is. Service on both occasions couldn’t have been any better. The extensive wine and cocktail list will keep me coming back for more too. Thank you, can’t wait to come back soon.

Get takeaways from here quite often and never had any complaints. Penne contadina is superb. Pizzas also lovely. Delivery always fairly prompt with friendly drivers. Food also arrives warm.

First class, great food, big portions, and top atmosphere.

It is not the first time I am visit this place with my family. I'm a big fan of Italian food and pasta of any kinds. If you love it too you definitely need to go there. Staff is very friendly, price is fair, portions big and food is delicious. I would definitely recommend this place. Give it a go and you won't be disappointed. It is the best place around.

Went for a spot of lunch, clearly the place hasn't improved from the last visit, it's got worse. Very tired looking with seats worn & flaking. Not offered lunch menus which was cheeky, asked to the lunch menu, got a disappointed response as clearly they wanted you to eat from the standard one. Place was empty, food was disgusting, cutting corners still and this shows. Total waste of £36, should have went to the cafe. Won't ever go back there, it could be so good but needs mayor investment......

Called in for lunch and found it quiet but with a lovely atmosphere. I ordered pollo le pepe. Delish, great sauce. Topped it off with a couple of glasses of Prosecco. My partner had the sea bass and vegetables, and this also came with a lovely sauce. We were in for two hours, and it started getting busy around 2 pm. Roxy took our photo. Thoroughly recommend it.

It was our daughters 30th birthday treat , but what a let down . On the whole the food was good , 5 starters and 6 mains , the breaded chicken though was like a piece of leather in breadcrumbs , the other 5 were good . Then we were informed that they needed the table in 15 mins ! So no time for a dessert , then the bill came with 2 totals 1 with 10% service charge and 1 without . We wouldn't have had 6 desserts but probably 3 at least , so on the whole they've lost at least another £50 and customer's for good as we won't be back !

Nice spot in Airdrie for Italian food, have been here a few times and the food is always very good and service is friendly. Prices have crept up a bit

This is the best Italian restaurant in Lanarkshire. Maybe even the west of Scotland! The staff are amazing! The food is unbelievable and the cocktails are deadly! We are regulars and have never had a bad meal. Our kids regularly ask to go to ‘il capo’ for dinner. The cocktail bar has amazing drinks, service and weekly singers. It’s also very reasonably priced with more than generous portions!

Very short review but the service was good , the beer was good, and the pasta was awesome. Highly recommend. One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had.

We had a magnificent evening here last night in the cocktail bar. Sonny Leto was performing and what a treat! His set was just great, a bit of Elvis, George Ezra and so much more! We hope that he becomes a regular guest here at El Capo. The cocktails weren’t bad either! Thank you everyone involved. We highly recommend a visit for live entertainment or excellent food in the restaurant.

Very dissatisfied with quality and quantity of food delivered. Called to collect, was told sorry no,only order through Just Eat, and then charged 3.00 delivery,and 50p service charge, Absolutely overpriced in every aspect. Asked for penne arrabiata with chicken, and no chicken in carton, this is why I prefer to collect, and don't understand why we can't. Overall order came to 30.00 inclusive of delivery for two. Incredible food and service. My new favorite restaurant! We went here for my father’s birthday last night expecting it to be a normal Italian restaurant. It is not normal, but is far better than any Italian restaurant that I’ve ever eaten at. The prices are reasonable, but the food is better than restaurants that cost 3 or 4 times as much. The staff members are all super cool and you can tell that they are passionate about the food. We had the sea bass, mullet, and chicken, and they were all exceptional. You absolutely have to try their mozzarella bread with their perfectly spiced olive oil. Seriously, take my word for it. We didn’t realize that you need a reservation, and we were lucky to get in, so make sure you call ahead and get a reservation. This is definitely a must-do if you are anywhere close to the area. Many thanks to the Il Capo staff for making last night amazing!

The Il Capo burger is big and filling and the bun it comes in is nt soggy or break apart. Onion rings are massive and great batter. Christmas dinner booking £70 per head for pre ordered menu paid in advanced . Party reduced by 1 due to medical issue not covid related. Staff were contacted and notified. On arrival table set for number of the original booking. Apparently cancellations were non refundable. Very convenient during a pandemic. This was explained in the day by “elf on the shelf” manager. Meal was like the manager cold and underwhelming and left a foul taste in your mouth. Got to look on the bright side at least the chef could finish early as he had one less meal to reheat in the microwave.

Lovely restaurant, good food and friendly polite service. Staff were struggling with the number of customers, but when more staff arrived things improved. The food was a bit heavy on spices for a traditional Italian menu. I suggest they stick to the chilli and spices for recipes that actually require them.

Friendly, helpful, nice ambience and best of all lovely Italian cooking with good gf options. Let's face it, we can all cook pasta and throw it in a sauce of some kind; so to be given a sauce where you wonder what the flavours are and how they cooked it and know it didn't come out of a jar, then it's worth paying for. I had risotto: flavoursome, creamy and the rice perfect; I could not have achieved that at home. And beautifully presented. I'll be back!

Tasty food, obviously have very good chef. A good place for a quiet meal during the week. Good to hear relaxing background music that's appropriate to dining. Apparently at the weekend it's a bit more lively and heard they serve great after dinner cocktails. Recommended
