Jakes Cocktail Bar And Grill in Antrim

Food was bland and I didn't enjoy it. All of the chicken ordered was very dry apart from the starter of salted chilli chicken which was delicious, the only reason for the stars. Cocktails weren't great- I couldn't drink mine and the others left theirs. Expensive for what it is. Staff weren't very friendly (apart from one girl in the whole place with loads of staff). I personally wouldn't recommend it.

Amazing food with a great menu and awesome staff. Nice place to call in for food and drinks with plenty of parking.

Southern fried chicken melt was outstanding

We always enjoy our visits to Jake’s, but tonight was far beyond the usual five star service - the food was amazing, the service was superb, but what took it that bit further was how two of the wonderful staff members helped my grandmother to her seat and then back to our car. She has very poor mobility and is deathly afraid of falling. As a result, she has stayed indoors and missed out on so many opportunities to visit restaurants and shops. She has admitted how lonely these past few years have been, and finally agreed to come out today with myself and my mum, who is visually impaired. Trying to aid two people with different impairments and disabilities can be quite a handful for just one person, but these amazing staff members really made this evening a delight and has solidified Jake’s as our family’s personal favourite eatery. I can’t thank the staff enough.

Great place for food and drink. Prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good. Can be very busy, so you need to book in advance. Worth a visit.

Best food ever! So much to chose from. The food was delicious and the service was ok. We had pasta, ribs, tacos,wings, chips and onion rings. everything was lovely.

Absolute disgrace, went today for my friends child's christening and got the buffet. Got 4 small trays of food which included chips, cocktail sausages, chicken bites and wings and got charged £300. You would get more for a child's party and spoke to the manager and he just shrugged and said 'that's what it is'

Ok... so with fairness : Banoffee was yummy, my girlfriend got really yummy alcohol free cocktail and enjoyed her food Me on the other hand.. didn't enjoy the fish from the fish& chips as it was a frozen pre-made product which I'm familiar with and I ordered regular Guinness, what i got was alcohol free even though the waitress said it was regular.. So.. with a genuine Guinness and a genuine fish& chips the place would have been a 5star for me 😉

We were dining with our 7 week old son who was in his push chair beside the table and when the food was brought out to the table the server handed to trays of HOT food over the top of the child's head and when I complained to the server he shrugged his shoulders and said I've never drop food yet, this was unacceptable but his attitude was terrible and he just walk of with NO apology whatsoever. Poor poor service

Recommend booking as busy on a weekend. Gorgeous food and great service.

Had to wait almost one hour for our meal. We only ordered main courses and watched other tables receive starters and main course whilst we waited! The staff worked very hard in their area but they did not appear to be supervised or well lead.

Vey disappointed with service . Food was not warm . I got 3 drinks and 3 soft drinks at the bar there was very unhappy bartender girl when she served me i have to asked for tray and carry all drinks by myself .

First time eating here. I had the burger and have to say it was lovely. The waiting staff knew what they were doing. Very attentive. Afterwards spent a bit of time in the bar. Yet again there was no waiting to be served. I will be back.

Seafood dishes very poor and not cooked with any flavour, the sauce of the Seafood chowder and the Seafood thermadoor was bland. The fish was over cooked and the seafood chowder was filled with vegetables which is pretty unusual. I really wouldn’t recommend getting these dishes, the presentation looked so appealing aswell but the taste wasn’t there. Chocolate cake really REALLY dry and tasted like cardboard. The only redeeming factor was that the grilled chicken fillet stacker was a decent meal.

We love Jakes. We have visited over many occasions as a couple, with friends, family and children. Everytime the food was outstanding, staff helpful and their cocktails are delicious too.

Busy wee place has such a big menu food was nice, just pub grub nothing too exciting.

Foods always reliable and staff great but get the toilets sorted out. They're always broken in some way, the drains stink and some are just out of use. It's been like that for ages and to be honest it's starting to put people off going.

Very dull staff on entry. Waited 12mins to be asked what we wanted to eat or drink. Had to be quick so ordered cod and chips. It came in super fast time. Fish was soggy, like it was sitting ready, hence the speed.

Absolutely fantastic in every way. I would give 10 stars if I could. Food was tasty and arrived quickly. Staff friendly and very professional too. Portion sizes also a lot larger than most restaurants. Highly recommend.

Restaurant was overly busy this evening although we had already booked the greeting was slow, there was a mix up with the bill and we ended up getting over charged rather than it being resolved. I've had better experiences previously in Jacks so a little disappointed overall

Nice food, comfortable environment

The food is delicious, and the cocktails are fantastic! We've been twice, and both times it's been an incredible experience. The only small niggle was we had to ask several times for a second jug of water, but I also understand that it was a very busy evening-so I'm not deducting any marks for that- and it shouldn't deter anyone from visiting here-it is truly worth it.

Very good service. The staff is and friendly. The food is amazing. Only the menu said 12 pounds for a bottle of wine, and the receipt - 15. I did not understand why, but ... I will visit again for sure. I recommend 👍
