Just Indian in Carrickfergus

This afternoon we ordered a takeaway from Just Indian (Eden village, Carrickfergus). We were very impressed by the care taken with packaging, before we even tasted the food. Staff were particularly friendly and helpful. It's evident that Just Indian takes pride in quality. The meal itself (Malabar Chicken) far exceeded any expectations of just another run of the mill takeaway. The aromatic flavours of the curry sauce along with the top quality pieces of chicken breast were delicious. The naan bread was the nicest we've ever tasted as well. Looking forward to a return visit.

Food tonight was awful. Doner meat with slimey weird texture & salad definately wasn't fresh. Over priced & nasty. Definately would not be back.

Had a lamb balti delivery. It took an hour and a half to be delivered, but they did tell us that up front. It proves they're very popular! The food was great, I really enjoyed it.

Ordered a lamb karahi, had them deliver it. That takes a while to happen on a Saturday, but that was no problem. It was just over thirty minutes' wait. I liked the food, it was hot, and there was lots of it.

Excellent service provided by counter staff especially at this hard time, they were more than happy to help... food was amazing😍 and was piping hot... Would definately recommend

Very big portions, even the kids meals. Food was warm as usual & very enjoyable. Staff on the phone very friendly. Will be back👍

Me and my gf and my friend got out of here and when it came it wasn't nice at all I found tree trunks in my rice and my house sauce was sour my gfs chicken korma was litterly like coconut milk and my friends chicken curry was swimming in grease I give this a 0 star and wouldn't not recommend

My partner got a chicken pakora with rice and house sauce - the house sauce was extremely sour and off putting and I got myself a chicken korma with boiled rice and the Korma was like eating a mouthful of coconut it was disgusting and after waiting 2 hours for the food to arrive and £26 later it was a waste of money and not nice at all to eat... will not be ordering from this place again...

We got from here for the first time and it is gorgeous! We were extremely pleased with the portion size and the food was piping hot. Came late but at this hard time we understand use are busy. Will most definitely order again.

Seems to be a new staff member on front desk I know this as I am a regular customer and it’s not any of the lovely young girls I’ve spoke with before! She is extremely geeky and Got lippy with me in the shop I got home and had phoned to explain my order was wrong and was told to “f*** off” down the phone she then proceeded to shout down the phone at me when i asked to speak with the manager and then she put the phone down on me! No customer service skills at all.

Curry was bland, could have made a better one at home. Meat was not great. Best thing about it was the naan bread. I think they changed hands a while ago used to be amazing. Now I would just try to make the currys myself than order from here

The food and staff are absolutely amazing! We are regular customers and we are always delighted😁 delivery sometimes can take a wee wile but we fully understand that sometimes use are busier than others as use are a very popular and well known Indian! Always well worth the wait.

Really enjoyed the Indian kebab out of here. Would recommend will return, and a 5 star hygiene rating

Had my first curry from Just Indian a few days ago. We loved Little India and always thought it superior to other curry houses in this area so were hoping for something good. Anyway, I ordered veg pakoras and lamb bhuna which was delivered well on time if not a little before. The pakoras were ok, nothing special, but a fairly generous portion compared to some you get these days. Then to the Bhuna. I'd been a little concerned when I'd spotted it being referred to on the menu as a sweet and sour dish - which it isn't - but at least one word in the description was accurate. For some reason someone had shovelled so much sugar into it so that was virtually all it tasted of. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the rice ok, I was starving having been out all day so I eat half of it and threw the rest out. A waste of money, I'm afraid.

Awful. Waited well over an hour for a delivery after being told ‘it won’t be long’. Had to ring a number of times to chase it up, wished it hadn’t arrived. Chicken tikka chilli masala was tasteless, don't even think it was made with chicken...

Great Indian food. Had another carry out delivered last night again superb quality and very tasty. Great service

OK I had High hopes for this place as it was expensive but the food was shockingly bad. Do yourself a favour and go to one of the others in Carrickfergus.

We have eaten here weekly from it opened. Great food, friendly service and very resaonably priced compared to other Indian take-aways we have tried. Would definitely recommend. Jimmy

Under the old management it was awful in the extreme. The new owners have improved it immensely but time will tell. We will certainly try it again.

Thought we would try out this place tonight, just phoned our usual order for an Indian. Lamb Korma, with pilau rice, naan bread and kids chicken nuggets with chips. When i went to pick up my order i was astounded when it came to £17.40....

Amazing customer service, great variety of dishes and food was delicious with generous portion sizes. Will definitely return!
