Best coffee in belfast . Downside is They still act and behave as if we are still in the middle of a covid pandemic . Plastic screens everywhere and segregated walls to separate customers from each other . Its like a scene reminiscent of 2020 which haven't gone away . Maybe they are keepingvtheir walls and screens up for the next wave lol

Went here having read the raving reviews, but can’t say that it was more than average. Food was OK, cappuccino a bit burned, and despite the staff saying that “we’ll do any coffee for you” they didn’t do filter coffee…

Maybe I was here on an off day, but I have to say I was very disappointed with my visit. I was the only person in the shop at the time and waited about 45 seconds for the two staff members to finish their conversation before (barely) acknowledging me. I ordered a tea and a long black. Tea was absolutely fine, but the coffee (that used to be top class), was pretty much undrinkable. No crema and basically oily clumps round the edges. When we were leaving I brought the cups back inside, with the intention of mentioning the drop in quality, but again the staff seemed too involved in their conversation to take any notice of me. Certainly wouldn't be in a big rush back.

Weekend visit - my first visit since this branch opened. Coffee good but bad vibe in Lisburn Road branch from a surly and rather grumpy barista. Won’t be returning.

Lisburn Road shop. We had been enjoying a lockdown takeaway coffee from here on our walks. Sometimes the counter staff would ask you to wait at the till or move on. On this occasion nothing was said so since my husband had previously been asked to move on he thought we should to make way for approaching sets of customers who would be queued out the door due to social distancing. There was ample room on the other side to wait, we got a nod from a single customer on the waiting side and we stood apart socially distanced. The girl on the till provided no direction as she was absorbed by her phone. The girl making the coffee in front of the other patrons the loudly announced that we would have to go out and around the one way system again to receive our coffees due to one way and social distancing (the other customers including ourselves looked puzzled at her logic, starting to step backwards and wondering where to go). I repeated what she had requested of us back to her making sure this is what she wanted us to do (and in order to “comply” with this authoritarian illogical order). She then proceeded almost immediately hand us our coffees (I guess she waited until these were ready to raise the issue) without us having to walk around again and disrupt the whole queue (and breach social distancing on her count). She also decided to then be helpful and asked us if we wanted cup holders to which we refused (not required and more wasteful). Thankfully the Lisburn Road is heaving with choice of other quality coffee spots. Similar to the visit from the dog owner, we won’t be back here to pay to get treated in such a rude manner and when there was no issue with social distancing in the first place (just a staff member who decided to make one and make it her duty to be confrontational).

Love the coffee but had a bad experience during last visit. A member of staff acted unreasonably. After ordering my coffee I went outside to check on my dog and when I returned a few moments later I was told I needed to que up again to get my drink which was waiting for me at the counter. Other customers queuing up were hovering over my cup and while collecting their drinks, needles to say I left without drinking my coffee. Won't be back to lisburn road shop unfortunately.

My daughter and I will travel here ,from Newtownards, for the latte coffees. They are superb especially when combined with a cookie or caramel shortbread!! We even bring our dog home one of their carrot and lentil dog treats, which she loves. Great place, good vibe, friendly staff. Highly recommend

i like to try decaf just to check if it is drinkable. Kaffe o is the first place to serve decaf coffee that tastes close to coffee. still the devil's work

Nice coffee and amazing mocha ball, but ... pity the waitress who left them with me at my table made zero eye contact. Imagine talking to someone who then proceeded to look everywhere but at you, and you’ll know how this ‘meh’ customer service felt.

My family & I called into this busy cafe while browsing botanic on my birthday. Met by great staff who explained we could get a table, check out the menu & then order. Great coffee, lovely soup & stew were ordered from the specials board & we weren't disappointed. Set us up for the day & will certainly return.

Might have been nice to eat there, but after being told to sit down to wait for table service and 10 minutes of nothing, I went elsewhere.
