Had used Ramsbottom Social previously so booked on line to use again. All was well until I woke up on Saturday morning to find a text message saying “Sorry for the late notice but sadly we have to cancel your reservation - Please accept our apologies” Message received at 02:19 in the morning ! Too late to get a reservation anywhere else so now trying to find anything for Sunday. Will not be bothering this business again.

Beautiful food, freshly cooked to order. Made to feel very welcome by Jo, Nic and the staff. A bustling little restaurant with great atmosphere.

We came here for the 'small plates' menu at teatime on a Saturday. My wife is vegetarian so we kept to those options, and had some lovely dishes including patatas bravas and a dahl. Everything was full of flavour. The staff were excellent and the mood there was just right, with some great background music at just the right volume.

What a disappointment! i was so excited to go here after reading all the reviews, i even asked my dad to come along! we got there for 4.15 and it was off to a good start, we ordered our drinks and got our drinks, then it went down hill! we waited around 45minutes for our starters for them to be average. we then was tod multiple times they don't have certain things for Sunday lunch and they don't have this and that, not what i was expecting. we then waited around 1 hour for our mains, everyone's came apart from my dads Sunday lunch. we waited and waited then i eventually went downstairs to ask where my dads lunch was and they said it would be any minute now. we had all nearly eaten our food! its completely unacceptable to bring everyone's food when someone's food isnt even ready!! it was all the same food (sunday lunch) then it finally came and i said were not going to be paying for that meal, we had all finished our food!! then the waitress went to collect the plate back that she had just put down in front of my dad!! i said no, hes going to eat but im not paying for it seeing he's eating now on his own. she was very rude and said okay and walked off, that rude that my didn't even touch his food because he was so annoyed! overall i was so so disappointed and i will not be returning.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Second time visit. Greay atmosphere, good music, friendly owners, and great food and drink. Sunday lunch is tasty and plentiful , down to earth and friendly, no fuss place. Love that we could bring our pooch in. Thank you 😊 x

Came here for a Sunday Roast with my family after recommendations and what a treat it was. They offer Small Plates with such great offering that 2 of us ended up having some small plates whilst the other 2 had a roast. All the food was really really good, well presented and great portions. I did get food envy when I saw the roasts arrive so will be back for one of them very soon! The team here take such pride in what they do and nothing is too much trouble for them. If you are partial to an Amaretto Sours I highly recommend!

The food, atmosphere and staff are absolutely incredible. Reasonably priced and great quality and was very fresh. Our waitress was lovely and very chatty. The wine was cold and my mum commented on the standard of glasses, freshly rinsed, cold and no lipstick marks round the rim. Service was great, we didn’t have to wait long for our drinks order or food. They had two live singers on who were lovely and a great way for us to end the evening. Best food I’ve had in a long time and would definitely recommend it to anyone, I just wished we lived closer to it.

Pick this restaurant from previous reviews and was not disappointed. Some great small plates of food including ribs, chicken satay and Dahl. Great selection of interesting dishes and all cooked really well. Very tasty. Young team keen to ensure everything is in order. Great selection of gins and cocktails. Bonus a fabulous live music show with Rachael Green. Will go again when next in the area.

Popped in today for a few drinks and saw that the food coming out looked lovely, so decided to treat ourselves. We had the Meatballs, Satay Chicken Skewers off the special menu and much more but those were the highlights. I haven’t had such a lovely meal in a long time. The staff were very welcoming and bubbly. All in all a great night. Will definitely be returning!!

Fantastic small plates. Would not hesitate to recommend. Everything was excellent, but if you only eat one thing have the sweet potato dahl.

After all the positive reviews we thought we would give Ramsbottom Social a go. So glad we did, we were not disappointed, the Sunday Roast was stunning. 1. The welcome from the staff was very friendly,professional, and welcoming. 2. The food was amazing, big portions of Meat, Veg and a gravy to die for. Partner opted for a pudding ( apple crumble and custard ) which i did have a small nibble of and it was a super pud. Drinks selection is very ample with something to suit everyone. 3. Staff were very attentive during our visit, checking on how things were and if we needed anything. 4. Will absolutely be returning to try all the other foods that were on offer Thanks to staff for a great experience and really looking forwards to coming back.

Had lunch , small plates , best food I've had out in ages!! 5 star plus!!!!!!! Young lady service was fantastic!!!!! Did drinks order , brought them , gave us time then to mull over menu. Took order. Checked on us mid meal and then take plates away until we all finished. ..... just as it all should be. Owner popped over when she arrived , all very friendly!!!! Hope this business does brilliantly, they all deserve it!!!!! Thank you xx

Had some fab food and drinks here last night recommended by our teenage Son and friends . Owner and staff were very attentive and friendly . Every dish was well presented , fresh , hot and very tasty . Cheesecake was delicious too. Will definitely visit again soon .

MY ADVICE TO OTHER CUSTOMERS AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! TO THE OWNER: Tell your cook to change his appron!!! If I saw him before we ordered I would have never eat here! I would leave immediately. Absolutely disgusting! Knocked me sick! What a filthy b£%#%#^d ! I can not belive he prepared my food. If he walks so proudly around his customers in such a state for sure he doesn't follow food hygiene regulations!

Disappointed! We developed really bad food poisoning few hours after we left!!! It was bad for days!!! Both me and my friend! And we did not eat from the same source before we arrived to Ramsbottom. Shame!!! As I have enjoyed some of the food we have ordered and presentation was nice. But....tiny chicken breast on top the katsu sauce with few green lives on side for £10 it is a lot. (No rice, chips or noodles) same for ribs 3 tiny pieces £10.

Came here for the first time and loved it. The staff really made it, such good service and so friendly, which really makes all the difference. Food was great too (menu is mostly small plates and burgers), and there is a good selection of beers considering the relatively small size of the place. Really nice atmosphere, would definitely cover back here.

Lovely little spot for lunch. Intimate atmosphere with very friendly staff. They were having supplier issues but made up by creating some adhoc dishes with what they had available. Roast lamb dinner was delicious, and you get plenty of trimmings. The small dishes are also great, 2 is probably enough for 1 person. Food came relatively quickly and was well priced.

Really lovely place! Food was very tasty and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We had our 18 month old with us, and even though it was a bit tight, they fit us in with a highchair, and our waiter was so friendly with him :) We will definitely visit again next time we're in Ramsbottom!

Went with a few friends, my first visit. Staff and owner were polite and helpful. Food was delicious tapas, beautiful presentation. Couldn’t choose from the pudding menu so we shared three. The honeycomb cheesecake was amazing! Will def be back for more!!

I can't understand why the reviews for this place are so good, Nothing we had tonight tasted freshly cooked. Not cheap either.

Previously had Sunday lunch which was lovely. Tapas tonight really poor. The duck tasted and smelt off, was told it could not be off by the manager, The cauliflower Dahl was watery and lentils not cooked enough. The bruschetta, cheap tasteless chopped tomatoes without seasoning...

Foods awesome. Enjoyed a cracking time with the young lady that waited on us. Really enjoyed the little place. To return again before long :)

Such a great little spot! We’ve been a couple of times, once for a roast (hands down one of the best ones we’ve had), and then for a really tasty brunch! A must place to visit if you’re in Ramsbottom!

We called here today ( Saturday lunchtime ) with our dog after a long walk I honestly could not fault my visit in any way Super spot on service , Chilled, beautifully tasting wine and beer and the food really was to die for x I have been wowed ! Would recommend as staff are engaging the food is very good and the atmosphere is good. For 2 people would say 5 to 6 dishes is about right, the tarragon chicken and the fish cakes are delicious.

Stopped in for a family dinner. Service was fast and friendly. Drinks were all on point. Food was delicious and hot, huge servings for the Sunday dinner, also have a small plate menu for Us that can't or don't eat as much as we once did. A number of lovely desserts served as well.

This was a real find. The owner was a professional to her core. She explained the menu in detail and gave advice. We stumbled on this, walking around Ramsbottom and would recommend you go,if you visit the town. The small plates were beautifully cooked. The puddings afterwards were excellent.The service spot on and the hospitality just right, without being too familiar. Also, it is very LGBT 🏳️‍🌈 friendly from what I observed but not to the exclusion of everyone else. Great little business.

My other half wanted to take me somewhere special for my birthday. It was amazing not 5stars 6 and more. Front of house greeting and explanation of food and drink excellent. Had a totally amazing night in here. Fabulous atmosphere, staff were amazing, had fantastic drinks including a German lager that was mouth watering. But the food was spectacular, pigs in blankets, katsu curry, patatas bravas and in particular the salt n pepper chicken was mouthwatering...

What a wonderful surprise find this was, a lucky last minute reservation. The whole experience was amazing , super fab service from front of house. Huge thanks to the kitchen for accommodating us and wow the food. That was as good as my Grandma's Sunday lunch and that is the highest form of praise I can think of.
