Sultan's in Glasgow City

A small but cosy indian restaurant, visited with my husband, meal was average but service great. Prices very reasonable.

Really good location to go before a gig at the 02 , great quality food And very spicy! !! Lovley people to 😊😊

The food was lovely; however don’t be fooled by the £2 corkage; it’s per person. Very misleading. Also we had to open the bottle ourselves as the girl didn’t know how to use the bottle opener.

Personally sultan's is my favourite curry house in Glasgow staff are also laid back and friendly could sit and talk to them its also BYOB which is bonus Highly recommend

We tried this place on spec, as it was within walking distance of our hotel. Really pleased with the visit. The owner, Farouk, is a very genial chap, and made us welcome (we were the only ones in at the start). My wife ordered a vegetarian dish, and I had a chicken biryani. The saag was a bit too spicy, so Farouk took it away, added some yoghurt and cream, and it came back suitably improved. My biryani was lovely, and it was cooked with a bread topping, which I had never encountered previously. It worked really well for sure. Anyway, in a city with so many Indian restaurants, Sultan's food is as good as it gets, and as it is situated in the West End, there is no need to travel into the city centre with this place so convenient on Great Western Road. We'll be back!

Omg the food was absolutely outstanding. Seemingly the real authentic Indian chef has been cooking for over 35years and the guy is a genius. We both had different curries and they were the best we have had in a long time. The place was really quiet but feruk our waiter was very attentive and passionate. Well impressed and defo go bk. Booked at Sultan’s for a meal on new year’s eve and was not disappointed. Fabulous service and undoubtedly the best curry we’ve had in Glasgow in quite some time. On top, BYOB was a treat so will definitely be back

Been in a goodfew times now and can't get enough! No ask is too much of the waiter and the interior is mint. We had given feedback about the mixed grill (which was already great) and the next time we went the chef had added more ribs and an extra spice to it as we had suggested. Not very often that happens in a restaurant and this place hits the spot every time!

I came here for dinner with a few friends recently and I loved it. The delicious curries were at a very reasonable price and the service was excellent. I am vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me- the lentil and courgette curry in particular was incredible. I will definitely be coming back!!

The West End are in Glasgow is a bit expensive but this restaurant is very good. Very good service as well, plus they offer a student discount too. Totally recommended!

Tremendous South Indian Garlic Chilli chicken tikka, with an amazing plain paratha. Seated upstairs with no one in the restaurant, yet served very well. Because it is a BYOB, I took a couple of bottles of Jever. Go there!
