Thai brasserie in Eastbourne

Both dishes inedible - despite being amongst the not spicy items available and even previously ordering the same, both pad Thai and drunken noodle dishes were horribly doused in chilli, disgusting and inedible

I love this restaurant! The food is outstanding and the service is 5 star!! I recommend the chicken satay and pa-nang curry! Just lovely!

Great food, friendly staff, good prices and easy to get to. I've been here multiple times for different reasons and it's never disappointed. My only gripe is that if you sit by the door to the rest of the enterprise centre during winter, people will constantly open the doors to access the enterprise centre toilets and it let's a draft in!

This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in Eastbourne, The lunch time menu for £11 is fab a starter a main and a soft drink and the right sized portions - Definately my go to for lunch if Im out - dinners not bad either

Cracking food in a nice setting almost feels like a holiday vibe with the terraces seating on the right hand side. Nice beer and the cheap enough! Can't argue

Birthday lunch with my husband, son and his partner, we all had different meals,all were served together on warm plates, a lesson for many pubs to learn! Everything was delicious and well presented and the staff very welcoming and friendly.

It was the first time I ate in this restaurant, and I honestly did not regret it. The atmosphere was very pleasant and warm, the food super tasty and an affordable price. We left happy and full. Will be visiting soon especially for the Tom Kha soup!!!

Not far from our office base, this is a delightful place to meet for lunch as we are mostly home working these days! The vibe you get from staff is positive from entering, and all communication is with a smile! I've been a few times, always for lunch, though, and the portions are pleasant size and VERY tasty... If the same quantity for an evening meal I could leave feeling hungry, yet I say this without knowledge or experience of coming here for dinner. The most important Q&A I can provide is..... of course, I'll definitely return!!

Very tasty, good atmosphere, staff attentive, lovely evening .

I've developed a lot of allergies in the last year which is making it very difficult to find anything to eat in shops and restaurants, however I rang here and the lovely man who answered said he would get the chef to cook me my take away with everything I'm allergic to left out and he did! I had soup, noodles chicken dish - spicy, egg fried rice and another spicy chicken dish. They all tasted wonderful and were just spicy enough for me, I don't like burning lips type of spice and these dishes didn't give me that! A big thank you to both the man who carefully wrote down everything I am allergic to - it's a biggish list and also the chef for making me such a superb meal which I am going to finish tomorrow! I must also mention that the meat was so moist and tender :) It was delivered very quickly, half an hour by a very nice young man and it takes minimum 10 minutes to drive to my home so I was very happy at how quickly this was all cooked.

Great place for lunch. Two course plus drink for £10.95. It’s a hidden gem, upper floor of the shopping centre behind the train station. I would have never thought of going there. Very nice terrace if you can get a table there. Access by stairs only.

Having dined here on a previous visit to Eastbourne we were keen to return. It didn't disappoint and we once again really enjoyed the food. Having visited Thailand quite a few times it seems difficult to get same flavours in the UK. However the Thai Brasserie comes closer than others I have tried. Highly recommended

I went today for lunch and I ordered green thai curry as main dish. This is the 4th and the worst visit so far. The curry was very watery and no tasty at all. The portion was tiny as it was part of the menu combo they offer which in my opinion is expensive for what you get. When I went to pay the waitress asked for feedback and I was honest, I said that I didn't like it and it was the worst curry I ever had, unfortunately. Her answer was: "I take your comment as a compliment. Look at those people (pointing the customers on the tables), the reason why they are here is for that green curry you said you didn't like it. That curry is our speciality and we are famous for it but I take your comment as a compliment which will be passed onto the chef." Then she started speaking with her colleague in their own language and the man looked at me and start laughing. I was puzzled with the customer service and definitely not going back.

Food was excellent last night but I thought the younger staff was rather off hand and not as friendly as usual.

Found the service to be extremely slow snd sadly without a smile. Food was good and dishes cooked to your liking. No atmosphere as such and strange mix of decor with some very bright lights.

Went with my family (wife and three children aged 10, 14 & 16) for dinner. We ordered a couple of starters and prawn crackers between us, followed by 4 main courses and three portions of rice (two of my kids don't each much rice) and some soft drinks. Bill came to £90 including tip / optional service charge. The food was all very tasty, service was prompt and friendly; our water jug was refilled without us asking, and they were very accommodating about changing a starter (spring rolls) that's usually in 4 pieces into 5 pieces so we could each have one. Would definitely go again, but find somewhere else to park. We looked at the dessert menu but decided to drive to the seafront and buy ice creams instead.

The Thai Brasserie is delish! I recently visited for a work lunch with colleagues and it didn't disappoint. We all had the lunch menu, which is so reasonably priced at under £11pp for a starter, main and drink. There is a great variety of dishes that are freshly cooked. Service is very quick and the staff were all lovely. I would definitely recommend and can't wait to visit again to eat my body weight in Thai food.

Had two drunken beef, both of us thought they were a lot sweeter than we had anticipated. small portions, and the waiting staff were ok, but not particularly attentive. For somewhere the local paper was saying should be michelin starred not that long ago I left hungry and a bit disappointed. The plus is that watching the trains go to and fro from the station is quite pleasant.

Not a restaurant review but a delivered takeaway, never ever in my life had such a miniscle portions ! Every curry filled 1 third of container only, very little meat considering the price. Very poor value! Spare ribs starter consisted of 4 of the smallest ribs possible. Won’t be ordering from here again. If you order a curry and rice from here make sure you order noodles as well and another accompanying side to go with it otherwise you will be hungry!

The two stars is just for the decor and location. The food was nothing special really. I prefer Sabaidee’s lunch special. Check them out! They offer free wine or beer with lunch and bigger portions. That’s precisely the problem here. The food is bland and the lunch special is the worst lunch special I’ve had. The Appetizer and entree is measly. How outrageous! This is enough for a young child maybe but not a grown adult. All they offer for drinks are sugary sodas or juice. I asked if I could include tea with my food instead and was told only the drinks listed would be included. Cheap people these are. I got a grand total of 4 pieces of chicken in the black pepper stir fry I ordered and my boyfriend had about 3 pieces in his basil stir fry. It was the worst basil stir fry I’ve had in Eastbourne and I’ve tried a few other spots. They don’t even offer ground meat which is necessary for a good krapow in my opinion. They don’t skimp on the veggies but that’s only because they’re trying to get you full without giving too much of the more expensive stuff. I asked for extra spicy, it was not spicy. My boyfriend asked for no spicy and got it a little spicy. For our appetizers, I got 3 tiny spring rolls. It’s so small you can eat in in one pop. My boyfriend got 2 small pieces of gyoza with his dish. The service wasn’t good either. We weren’t checked on and had to wait awhile for our check. I’m glad they don’t include service because they don’t deserve it. I wasn’t impressed enough to come back. Bland flood, minuscule portions and negligent service. Terrible. I suggest little elephant or sabaidee 100%.

A great restaurant situated out of the main shopping centre, we go for the lunch deal which is a starter, main and soft drink. The massaman curry is a must but all of the food I have tried is flavoursome and delicious. Staff are courteous and I have been here many times. My friends from London love it too!

A lovely find. Situated above the Enterprise Centre, access is a metal staircase situated on the outside by car park. Food was great. The lunchtime deal of side dish, main, steamed rice & soft drink for £10.95 was fab. Will definitely be back soon.

Don't bother. Tasty but portions are soooo small it's insulting. They make it so obvious that they are only out for your money. My wife ordered the brocolli stir fry with mixed vegetables for £8 and they brought out 65p worth of Brocolli in a bowl, nothing else. Asked if we could have the mixed veg also, they said no and walked away. My curry was served in a bowl with a tiny tiny tiny centre with the sauce overflowing to the edge to make it look like a full bowl. Thai fish cakes looked anemic and were not hot. And they shoved us in a dilapidated conservatory with flies everywhere and seagulls pooping directly above us. In summary, tiny portions, way over priced, unhelpful staff, only after as much money as they can get.

Tasty food with plenty of choice. All reasonably priced with friendly service. Only thing I’d mention is we were given a few baskets of prawn crackers for the table, and as no one had ordered them, we assumed they were complimentary. Disappointed to find they were then on the bill. All good otherwise.

How is it possible to make Thai food so tasteless. Chicken had no flavour whatsoever, soups were like packet soups with recycled ingredients. Absolutely disappointed, Not to mention I now a tummy upset, so does my partner.
