We just called in for a drink at a very busy time on Sunday this was our first visit to the village and the black bull the manager and staff were excellent and made our time there very special we will certainly be back

Our local pub, great food, all diets catered for, dantastuc atmosphere. Thus pub never fails to impress us. We will be back on Sunday for our weekly Sunday lunch

We arranged a lunch stop here as part of a charity cycle ride. The food was fantastic for a group of hungry cyclists and the hospitality from Karen and Paul was amazing. On behalf of the riders, support team and the charity, I would like to thank you all for your support.

We popped in here for some food after a day on Pendle Hill and the pub itself is unassuming, homely and traditionally styled. The menu had a small choice but we were happy to order a selection of sandwiches, burgers and chips and there was plenty of it, all really delicious, homemade and very fresh. I would recommend it to anyone needing a filling lunch.

nice place ....more of a restaurant than a pub grub status ...but very nice ....creme brulee to die for...not cheap but nice for romantic meal
