Got served by the lovely Pamela. She was amazing!! Had a great day out there and had a lovely breakfast. Definitely recommend

Simona always greets us very happy in the morning when we come for breakfast. She knows our drinks off by heart and prepares as we walk in (we love it). Shes always so helpful continually asking if were happy with food and if we need anything else. Makes us feel so comfortable and interacts with my 2 yr old son when he comes too. Will always choose to come here for breakfast. Both ladies on breakfast are lovely and cheery.

As always a fabulous experience. Atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Staff very chatty and made you part of the Toby Family. Chris Taylor was amazing made me smile and laugh, who could ask for more on a dull day in Scotland 😀

I was disappointed in the amount of meat you get for the price, but was happy with unlimited veggies. I just filled up with yummy baked potatoes, which was great. Service was good with staff extremely helpful. To people whinging about the carpark, just register your number plate at the counter and you wouldn't get a fine.

Lovely staff served by Shannah. Came with 5 children (so can be a lot) but were treated no different and nothing was a hassle. Food was lovely and very reasonable priced.

We loved our stay at Toby Cavery. The room was very comfortable, the beds are super cozy and the staff are fabulous. We enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. Thanks Amie for always being so happy and friendly.

Pam (Mrs Toby) is an absolute legend, she needs a payrise asap rocky. 10/10 service, proper saved us after raving, love you Pamela.

We have enjoyed our stay at the Toby Carvery all the staff were extremely welcoming especially Donna our waitress who served us in the restaurant

Really friendly staff and attentive to help me throughout the experience. The carvery was the key reason for visiting and it didn't disappoint with ample vegetable options and sides to compliment it all. Really tasty with the benefits of not having to wait very long. Whole visit including the bake cheesecake dessert was probably finished within 1.5 hours .

Terrific food and excellent service; came after a day at Edinburgh Zoo and terrific to have some “proper” food. Amie was tremendous and very helpful recommending the app, which gave us a great saving.

First time eating here on Sunday at 1.00pm. Food was pretty average but good size portions and value for money. I like my food hot and it was just warm plus the veg were very watery and bland. The deserts we had were nice. The venue was nice and so were the staff and it's obviously popular as it was busy. Couldn't fault the service. Definitely worth trying if you like carveries.

Pleasant place. The only moan is the meat which I had was beef and lamb was cut so thin that it spoilt the appearance on the plate. A very good selection of vegetables.

Good hotel and quite centrally located. Rooms are very good for the price in Edinburgh

Always enjoy a carvery, and this is as good as any I've been to. I'd definitely go again, and I suggest giving Amie a pay rise! Anybody who can interact with families all day and still be bright and joke with young kids is a keeper.

Visited for a meal tonight for first time. We have been to other Toby Carvery’s but it was our first visit to this one. Absolutely fantastic. Had our four year old with us and the servers were amazing, joking with her and offering options for her as well as just being generally really friendly and helpful. We had Aimee as our main server and she made the experience brilliant for us all. Just so nice and helpful. Even arranged for a taxi to collect us at end of our meal. Will definitely be back

Pamela, Mrs Toby, makes the best ice creams. We've been coming for 6 years. Always made to feel very welcome by all staff.

I go every Wednesday to meet my friends at 12pm for a Coffee and Icecream, we have been meeting here for over 6yrs, The staff are so friendly they know us by name, Pamela Mrs.Toby knows us so well she has our cups ready heated for a hot coffee.

Pamela Mrs Toby is lovely - very friendly and approachable. All the staff are very obliging and helpful. Really enjoy the atmosphere, and the food is fabulous.

I’ve been into quite a few Toby carvery’s and this is by far the worst I’ve seen so far, not the greatest of welcomes , a short wait for our drinks . Then a wait for the carvery. Pork and beef very poor quality, fatty. All meats sliced wafer thin. Yorkshire pudding tasted like pawn crackers . Veg all over cooked soft and bland . Roast potatoes ok but no roasties in dripping , I prefer these ones . Gravy was ok . Staff happy to stand around chatting to each other then expect a tip when they chat to for the first time when paying !? 🤦🏻‍♂️ all she did was bring me the card machine .

We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast each morning and had dinner too. The rooms are nice, a good size and beds really comfortable. The room was quiet (we stayed at the back of the hotel) and staff were lovely. We slept well both nights. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of choice and as much as you can eat - brilliant value. The carvery dinner was typical Toby and really good - the turkey was so nice! The draught ale was good and bar staff confirmed lines had only just been cleaned. The hotel is 15 mins by bus into town, a taxi costs about £12. We'll be staying here again next time we visit Edinburgh. I went running and walking in the morning/evening and the area was safe and well looked after.

Food was tasteless and bland. For the price we have pay it’s not worth it as the meat you get is getting smaller and smaller. Very disappointing.

We are currently staying here and are so impressed. Donna and Aimie were amazing and such a laugh but still professional. Chris front of house and Kieran behind the bar were also great and fun. They clearly love working together and really made our stay fantastic. Only one person let it down. kayler was very polite but never smiled and wasn't very welcoming. Maybe we caught her on a bad day. Apologies if I have spelt ur names wrong guys but thank u for a fab stay. Best service ever.

On the 03/03/2024 at 14:00:00 I went to Tobe Carvery at Corstophine for a meal with friends and parked my car at the Toby Carvery carpark. Today I received a parking notice of £100 for parking there for 1 hour and 55 minutes. So a lunch at Toby Carvery for around £130 is far too much. This was the last time I've been to this restaurant and all next group meetings won't be there either. I strongly recommend going to a better restaurant which, for sure, will be cheaper.

Lovely place to catch a bite! Our server Amie was very sweet and attentive. She was super helpful when it came to answering our questions about the menu. The food was good and very filling. Would come again!

This is based on just the Toby Carvery and not the hotel as we didn't stay there. First time eating at this branch and I must say its one of the best we have been in. The meat was tasty and not dry the yorkshire puddings were big and crispy and the roast potatoes were excellent

Two of us had carvery, the selection of food was excellent, one of us had the spinach and mushroom bake but when it came it was actually salmon and prawn but no problem it was remedied fairly quickly. The staff where very attentive.

The variety of food is always good. The quality on this occasion was not. Also, not ideal to put 4 adults at one small square table. Very cramped.

Decent Toby Carvery. What's not to like?

When we entered there was already a friendly person. A very friendly, humorous waitress Donna came to our table. Nothing too much. It was the 1st time for us, well explained. We were also asked in between if it was okay. Highly recommended. (It was very dark where we parked because the lighting did not work)

Corstorphine Edinburgh Toby has always had a great hospitality and staff very friendlyand efficient, food has always been good and fresh.

Amazing visit. We have been 3-4 time by now. Great service. Place is always clean. I have hade to same server each time. Amie was lovely, always have a good chat. There was a small mix up with desert, but it didn’t effect my experience, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is by far the best carvery I’ve ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE!!!! My friend and I were visiting Edinburgh this weekend as northern Irish tourists and looked up carvery places for us to eat on TikTok - this was the most hyped carvery! RIGHTLY SO, I will be back in Edinburgh just for this!! The carver let me get the fattiest cuts of meat when I asked and Kaila our server was so lovely and helpful, I hope this place gets the recognition it deserves!!!!!!! 03/03/24

We had a lovely experience. The food was lovely but above that the service we received from our waiter, Amie, was amazing and if we're ever near by again we will make sure to go again. However when we tried to book a table the voice told us there were no table available but when we got there there were plenty table available, I'm sure this is only die to some technical difficulties though and this didn't take away from the experience.
