Verdo in Edinburgh, City of

Turkish food and desserts are world famous. This place is also a well-known place around Edinburgh. We visit often. I can say that there has not been a single day that we have not been satisfied so far.

Turkish food and Greek Greek food have a different place for me. But even though I like the Greeks more when it comes to appetizers, the Turks are very good at desserts.

I think this is a very special place. Especially the meat used in the Turkish kebabs has a completely different flavor. The quality of their meat is nice. I prefer it to neighborhood restaurants.

I never knew that even meatballs could be so good. Turkish food is a different world. There are flavors that every European should try.

We found this place on the Internet. I looked around to see what was around. We came here for a change. I can say the food is close to perfect. The meat tasted very good. It's a taste that suits our mouths and palates.

I don't know that I have ever eaten such a kebab. I have been to the Middle East many times, but it was very nice to find one of the best kebabs in Turkey here. Now it has become a place where my family and I can go at least one night a week.

Went here for my birthday on Saturday night. It is the month of Ramadan and we had pre ordered for the food to be ready for breaking our fast, did not disappoint, even gave us some dates to break our fast which is traditional and most appreciated.. Restaurant was full, great atmosphere, food, as always cooker to perfection. The sharing platter is always our fave and HUGE portion! Staff friendly, our waiter and waitress were super kind and thoughtful when bringing out my cake. Highly recommend and our fave family spot.

So it's one of the best restaurants in the UK that you should definitely add to your bucket list. Turkish food has never sounded so good to me. Their meats are the meats we know but they were extremely good because of their cooking techniques.

These Middle Eastern dishes have their own distinct flavor. They can somehow make you eat them. The spices were just right. I think Turkish kebab tastes better than Arab kebabs.

Just absolutely delicious. Ordered takeaway the other day and it was ready in 15 mins. The ribs are the best. Have eaten in the restaurant many times and the food never disappoints. The house red is also great.

He estado en Verdo varias veces y ordené desde allí ayer (comida para llevar) debido a las restricciones de Covid - 19. La comida es absolutamente excelente: delicioso sabor ahumado a barbacoa. Sabores maravillosos. Las chuletas de cordero son un favorito personal, pero toda su comida es sublime. Traído de manera oportuna y solo un verdadero placer. Muy recomendable.

Soy un gran fanático de la comida turca y este lugar no me decepcionó. Recibí una entrega con Uber Eats. La comida era fresca y caliente, todo estaba delicioso. The food here was absolutely amazing! We were very disappointed by a lot of the food we had in the UK, but this was so good we had to come back a second time, even though we were only in town for three days!
