Asia Cafe in Belfast

This place is great. The variety of food fantastic. It was unfortunate we only wanted coffee BUT on seeing the scones and tray bakes and the salads fish egg and just anything you wanted dishes were more than tempted. The staff were great the service excellent. The place was busy but nothing too much trouble for them . They also have high chairs and toilet facilities and a lift!! Thoroughly recommended.

Have just discovered this hidden gem...fabulous fresh and flavoursome food that is a feast for the eyes served in spotless and comfortable surroundings by friendly and efficient staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. My wife and I enjoyed a delicious lunch here recently and can't wait to return. Full of flavour and texture the bang bang chicken wrap was a winner as was the succulent spiced salmon complimented by a moreish noodle salad. Generous portions - all competitively priced and the added bonus of a cafe with air con...a MUST during the recent hot spell of weather. It really is the perfect place to chill!

Fantastic food, lots of choice on the menu and also friendly service. I come here regularly as it is usually not overly busy and the portion sizes are very good. Lovely spot.

A feast for the eyes. Beautiful food, presented with care and thought. The surroundings are bright and the atmosphere is chilled. This place never disappoints or falls short of the high standards they set. Thank you Asia Cafe for yet another excellent morning.

Excellent choice of foods for all tastes. Lots of yummy drinks hot and cold. Had the mushroom and miso croque and I was full up for hours! Perhaps a little expensive - over £10 for a toaster and a tea but a lot of effort had been made in the preparation etc so really just a note in case you are on a tight budget. The place is immaculately clean and fresh and the staff take time to recognise the regulars. I will be back that is for sure

Went today for the first time at 11am. Heard it's got lovely food and didn't disappoint. Got quite a good turn out, where majority of the customers were locals, even though the weather wasn't great. Tried their vegan Pumpkin Squash and Lentil stew and Mango Tapioca pudding - both was delicious. They've got a great choice of Asian fusion food (hot and cold), Asian and Western drinks - coffees, teas, bubble teas, smoothie, salads, desserts, also great vegan and vegetarian options. Food looks fresh and tasty. Reasonable prices. Lovely quirky Chinese decor in a spacious, bright and open floor. Good to go early before the good stuffs gone. Would definitely go again. Another plus is free car park.

Tried one bite of the carrot cake which tasted really bad, asked if we could exchange it for something else and they said that’s no problem and swapped it for a scone. At the end when we were leaving they came after us saying we hadn’t paid for the scone. We had understood that it was a swap for free, otherwise we wouldn’t have asked and returned the carrot cake to them. They were rude and said we don't just give away food for free. Poor customer service.

Went here pre the shopping. Cafe is on the second floor, now tbh did not like the look of anything below the glass counter, but there was a lunch special at 5.50 each and pot of tea total £13.10 not our usual bill for lunch let me say! The little dim sums with two different dips to die for, will be back, even without the shop! Compliments to Miss Chef in the background, thumbs up even...........

I found the staff member very rude and -when I asked what was an item I was told to read the label above it!Then the other staff member overloaded tray - I should been given a table number and help. I narrowly avoided a collision when someone stepped into my path on way to table.Embassing.Food all looks lovely and other staff have been good on other visits. Hope next experience is better.

Didn't knwo this existed until my friend suggested going after a walk on Sunday morning. Food looked incredible, what we got tasted incredible, so also had to bring some home. The girl who served us was really helpful and explained all the food in detail. Can't wait to go back.

This is one of the brightest jewels in South Belfast’s crown of cafes. First, it is clean, spacious, and full of natural light with plentiful and comfortable seating. Second, it offers a great view of Ormeau Park. Third, the coffee is excellent and the Flat White to die for. Fourth, the food is great, suffused with Asian flavours and adapted to a busy lunchtime clientele : Korean beef sandwiches, Vietnamese pork rolls, Portuguese pastis de nata custard tarts to name but a few. Lastly, the efficient and cheerful Alison and her staff offer the most friendly and helpful service. So, in summary - what’s not to like?

We called in today for a coffee and a couple of gingerbread men for our 3year old children. They were very well behaved and sat for a good 20minutes chatting and singing happily before becoming slightly restless and getting out of their seats (as 3year olds do!)...at which point a member of staff, with obviously no understanding of young children, came over and rudely asked us to make sure our children were sat down on their chairs at the table as they were disturbing other customers, she then proceeded to go and tell our already sat down THREE YEAR OLD children that they had to sit and behave themselves! We were made to feel completely unwelcome and will not be returning.

Really interesting wee cafe but we called at 5.05pm (Sunday closing time is 5.30pm, we were told, although it says 6.30pm for the supermarket itself online) and a staff member announced it was ‘takeaway only from 5pm’ with no attempt to resolve the fact that we’d driven across town in good time specially to eat there. The food was still on display and we’d have been happy to eat there from takeaway plates etc, but no compromise was offered. Basic stuff done badly, will look elsewhere.

💗 this cafe. Always great tasty Asian inspired food. There is a standard menu but they also have rotating dish of the day. A lot of vegetarian and vegan options available served by friendly, helpful staff. This place is always busy and bustling. It’s a great start to a shopping trip downstairs where a vast Asian supermarket awaits you!

We called in today for a quick bite. Had the bahn mi -pork meatballs baguette. Unreal! All the flavours just go together properly. The spicy sausage roll was lovely, alongside even better condiments of mango chutney and tomato salsa. Parking handy here too.
