Great food very friendly staff but had to await a little while as very busy and people who came before me was served before me and all I was waiting for was chips

Soggy batter on the fish yet still tasted overcooked. That plus under cooked chips. Come on guys this isn't rocket science.

I was seriously impressed with how good quality the food was and how fast it got to me! It's obvious that this company really cares about making their customers happy with top-notch quality and service. I recommend them.

Popped in here to grab some food for myself, sis and two hungry kids after a visit to the toy shop on the same road. A bit of a wait for the food as it was being cooked to order - not sure if that’s the norm for this place, but it was the worth the wait as everything was lovely and fresh. The chips portions were generous (even with the kids meals!) and still tasty when cold (as we saved some for later). There was a minor hiccup with the order but the man in the shop was more than happy to rectify, offering to pop it out to us whilst we waited in the car. Would come back again if in the area, thanks!

Wanted a quick and easy dinner so popped in on the way home, unfortunately we had to wait over 30 minutes for our food apparently they needed to cook the chips (doesn't take that long in a restaurant) anyway the chip were hot and lovely but unfortunately the pie we ordered was cold in the middle I mean seriously after 30 minutes waiting the pie wasn't even cooked properly

This chippy has gone down hill very fast with no brakes, What is meant to a large fish is a large amount of batter concealing a small fish, undercooked chips every time, we have given this place enough of our money now and will no longer be foolish enough to do so again, £10.00 for fish and chips is far too much when the quality is so low.

I had 3 large chips and 1 with a sausage in my order, and I had anticipated an hour or more for delivery. They arrived at my house in less than ten minutes, I assure you! I highly suggest these rates and delivery times!

Great service once a week pay by card online then order ready and waiting for collection 20 minutes later. Friendly when you arrive and everything we have had has always been 5 stars.

Please don't let the photos sell this place,presentation of the shop looks good,and it did sell if it for me until I got home and ate my first fish and chips from here. The chips are ok, but the fish was absolutely disgusting,thinly cut,no taste,just of grease,and this is not a traditional chip shop,this is my first and last visit.

Usually have just pies from here, but had fish today. The haddock and plaice were cooked to perfection, and chips good as always. Always impressed with the service and speedy delivery.

Great value for money and top quality food!

Volkan, AC and Dad run a great Chip Shop. The quality of the fish is excellent and very well priced. These guys maintained service to the elderly all thorough Covid and should be applauded for doing so, also stayed open to the general public as much as they could. For those leaving bad reviews about the quality of the chips and how they are cooked, maybe it could be a change in potatoes. Been using the shop since it opened and never an ssue. You won't find nicer guys or better fish and chips in Norwich. Like everywhere and everyone if you treat them with respect and are friendly you'll get the same back. Give them a try, you won't regret it!

We order from here every Saturday. Chips are lovely. Fish is tasty and fresh, Jumbo Sausage is beautiful.

After being regular customers will no longer use Boundary Fish Bar. Undercooked chips, one time you could understand but everytime is unacceptable. Rude and unfriendly with it. Reading other reviews it sounds like they are more expensive than others, so will take our custom elsewhere.

Very disappointed that as a regular customer, who spends between £10 to £30 per week here that when I paid for a large piece of fish I was ripped off by the shaven headed guy with tattoos who filled the box up with chips and placed a regular weight piece in the box. Boundary Fish Bar likes to charge a lot of money, which is customers choice as long as they get what they pay for. They won’t get my custom again and I’ve found a better shop at Happy Fish and Chips on Catton Grove Road. Very disappointed with being treated in this manner.

Ok for a chippy but got my order wrong hence 3 stars

Food is nice, probably the best chips locally but I am now sick of not getting the full order on delivery. Literally every order is missing 1 item, tonight was missing curry sauce again 😕 . Normally it's a sausage or a bit of chicken. No other delivery we have, has ever missed things as often as the boundary this can't be just an oversight, feels more like a scam!

Really disappointed tonight, ordered large cod, wedges and curry sauce. No wedges instead 3quids worth of chips. Why is this the 2nd time when you call me usually. I am not paying 9quid for cod and chips to be told why didn't I tell the driver. Err cos they were gone by the time I opened your little present. Curry sauce was so thick I could of hung a poster up. As I said on phone, this post is telling you again I'll be going elsewhere.

Was looking forward to eating at my new local fish & chip shop, but sadly they do not cater to nut allergy sufferers such as myself, which I find absurd considering it's such a common and serious allergy.

Has gone downhill a little recently, much smaller chip portions and most noticeably of all, the woman that's now working behind the counter is really quite cold and unwelcoming, seems to think some customers aren't good enough to frequent the establishment! No more smiling friendly and welcoming service as we had before. The cooking and ingredients are still superb. Delicious batter, fish, chicken. So still rated a 3. Used to be a 5!

Food was good, but delivery time. It told me it would be there in an hour. But it never came within an hour. It took 1 and a half hours.

The fresh fish and lovely chips were superb and the delivery driver was so polite. Not many delivery drivers are as polite . Quick and food was gorgeous.

Very good fish & chips, large cod ordered, was huge, fresh & lovely batter. Chips were sublimely moorish to the point I had to stop eating them to make room for the fish. 1st time customer but this plaice, ooh bad pun, will now be top choice for f&c's next time.

One large skate, large chips, large sausage mushy peas for £13. Disappointing that they don’t take card during this time, it seems ridiculous that you can’t pay by card in this day and age without the added risk of virus transmission. The food was nice although I remembered why I don’t often have skate, lots of bones!!

Best fish and chips in Norwich and nice service. Don’t be lazy, go there, order and wait. That’s the best way to get the best product - everything is made to order. That’s the secret. Not surprised that people are giving bad reviews on the delivery, it’s not made for that.

Bad. Phoned at 5PM, a rude lady answered and said delivery would be available after 7PM. After 7:30PM I phoned and she denied her mistake and hung up on me. Now I have to wait for my refund as they said they cannot do it without a manager. Need new staff. Want good service, or just the thing you ordered go elsewhere.

Horrible not fresh at all. No way was it cooked and delivered in 25 minutes. Batter was soggy not crispy at all. Fish wasn't nice and white as fresh fish should be. Chips were definitely re heated. I did email and expected at least oh I'm sorry ect but email read and ignored. This to me says alot about the place. Won't use again

Ordered through the website for delivery, food arrived within 15 mins, all hot and lovely. I would suggest a louder knock on the door as it was pure luck we saw the guy walk away from the house. Would definitely use again.

Last week 1st time.. Beautiful food lovely and hot but did collect order.. This week not soo good unfortunately.. Had home delivery order nearly £30 wich was fine.. But cheesy chip were not cooked enough missing the jumbo battered sausage and temperature was very poor.. I know is difficult times at present.. But won't be using. Anymore.

Nothing special. Slightly more expensive than other places for what turns out to be average fish & chips. The lady serving at the till was a bit hostile.

At last a fish and chip shops that delivers quailty fish and chips YEAH !!. At a reasonable price, good portions, nice staff what more can you ask. The batter was crisp and not to thick, it and the fish were cooked perfectly. Th chips were again crisp on the outside, but fluffy in the middle. I also had mushy peas which were also very nice. I would highly recommend Boundary Fish Shop, Well done Guys and Girls will be ordering again soon :-)
