Moved to the area 2 years ago and only recently found this gem! We have been at least once a week since our first visit. Best fish and chips we have ever had!! Friendly staff , reasonable prices. Parking is limited, about 4 spaces. Cash only. No card payments.

i eat from here regularly, the Cod is excellent, the sausages are nice, curry sauce is tasty, the chips are very nice and when new potatoes are in the chips are amazing!!! also very well priced when you consider the price of other takeaways. without a doubt the best chippy around now. there is parking outside for around 5 cars which can be a squeeze at peek times. queues go down quickly though so its never a long wait at peek times.

I've lived in Norwich for 23yrs and had given up eating fish and chips until now. The Little Fish Bar has bought me back to enjoying f&c. They have a great choice of fish 🐟, all sizes (I had a large Rock Eel with small chips and cod roe) best I've ever had and I'm 74! Go, eat and enjoy.

I always get chicken mushroom pie, chips, gravy and a can of drink. £7, good price. I regularly come here for my fix. The staff are friendly and conversational. The longest I've ever had to wait was around 3 minutes, the shortest, around 30 seconds.

I’ve lived in a little fishing village in Northern Ireland for the past 10 years Where people are so fussy about their Fish and locally sourced chips. Most of the local’s conversations is all about where is the best place to get your best fish supper! When I first moved to Norwich I really struggled finding a decent chippy as most of them would serve you a soggy greasy frozen fish with chips that I wouldn’t even feed to my dogs! One day I was walking to go get some groceries from Tescos and saw the little fish bar and decided to give it a go on my way back from shopping! What a massive surprise that was! OMG their chips are so good on its own! The Battered cod is out of this world..nice thick fresh fish and super crispy! And most important not soggy or greasy at all! reasonably priced and very friendly staff.. please note they don’t accept card payment so it is cash only and they don’t do delivery. Thank you the little fish Bar can’t wait to visit again:)

Clean and friendly fish bar. Good chips 90% of the time. Prices are competitive. Crispy bits always free and nice. Just look at this picture, that's the new normal I hope 😁 No public toilets. No wheelchair easy entry. Covid-19 friendly. Enough parking for 3 cars outside.

I use this chip shop regularly for lunch, I have to get the small chips as the portion sizes are huge. It has always been a good chip shop all the way back to the Mickleburgh days. The staff are always nice and will have a chat if they have time and the owner who I don't personally know seems a very nice chap and always says hello.

Este lugar solía ser uno de los mejores de Norwich y me gustaría hablar con él a todos mis amigos y familiares. Las últimas 3 veces que he estado han sido horribles, solo pensé que era un mal día o algo así, pero después de esta cena no volveré. Las picaduras de los peces eran tan pequeñas, que pensé que era una broma. Las patatas fritas habían sido re - fritas y eran duras, totalmente huecas por dentro. No me impresionó en absoluto y lo intentaré en un lugar nuevo.

Good simple traditional fish and chips shop. Limited parking is the worst aspect of this shop. Otherwise good food traditionally cooked fresh on site and served by friendly staff. They even offer a loyalty discount vouchers with a reduction of costs in purchases. Bonus!

slow service even though it was quiet.. curry sauce is expensive to say it's not even that good.. chips were a bit soggy but still edible

Hubiera dado 5 estrellas si no fuera por el ridículo sistema de espera. ¡Puedes esperar hasta 20 minutos, aunque solo sea por una porción de fichas! Usted paga su dinero y recibe el servicio a su vez, incluso si alguien quiere 2/3 pedidos. Al decir eso, el personal es encantador y la comida no es grasosa.

Easily the best chip shop in Norwich. The food from the little fish bar is exceptional. Portions are on the large side, which in turn means that the prices are bang on what you would want to pay. Staff each time I have been in appear to be a family. They are relentlessly chipper and always make you smile.

Always nice hot chips everytime only thing which could make it a 5 star is the time it can take to get your order

OMG this place was bloody awful! Let me start by saying I expected good food from this place as this place is popular amongst people around this area. I ordered a large tail end of fish, beef and onion pie, gravy and chips, I received a medium which was way over cooked which made the fish hard under the batter. The pie was nice once I took the lid off. The lid and pastry was also hard and had obviously sat under the light way to long. The chips greasy but edible. The gravy cold. Also I don't know whether it's just me but this place smelt like rabbit urine and I would know as I have 6 of the little buggers 🐇🐰
