A huge thankyou to Rose, Ali, Macy, Carol and Aydee, from The Tudor Rose Brewers Fayre, Parkgate, for helping to make a special night on Saturday 20th April into an extra special night. My niece and her fiancé who were celebrating their engagement, along with the rest of the party were so very grateful to you all for the way in which you welcomed us and helped us in every way possible. And in doing so, insured that the whole evening run smoothly and was a great success. May I also take a moment to thank the chef and kitchen staff for the delicious food. A huge thankyou once again to all at 'The Tudor Rose' for you have definitely earned this 5🌟review.

Helped us out as a fairly big group when other lactation cancelled. ALI was very friendly and accommodating! Had a super meal and great table location. Recommended for good service and good location and service.

A great little spot for lunch. My wife and I just had a lovely lunch off the 2 for 1 menu. £11.49 for a Gammon with egg, pineapple & chips and a fish and chips with mushy peas. Well cooked and fantastic value. Service was friendly and welcoming

I brought my husband here for his 60th birthday, we had a lovely meal. My husband had an upgraded mixed grill and it was cooked to perfection. I had scampi and chips and it was lovely. My husband had a good bottle of Malbec red wine only £15 . I had unlimited refill of earl grey. The chef even came out to talk to us and he was really friendly. The two ladies serving and doing the bar were lovely and helpful (Mandy and pip) . The supervisor Ali was also nice.

We visited this pub on 11/4/24 for our daughter’s 16th birthday. The meal itself was at best average which i can accept from a Brewsters Fair pub. What I can’t get my head around is the way I assume what could only be the manager of the establishment thinks it is acceptable to treat the poor young girl who was working on the till. We were stood in the que waiting to order when this so called manager tried to humiliate his staff member in front of the customers. You could see the girl was probably only in her late teens and the way he raised his voice and tone in front of people is in my opinion bullying!! She was so nice and remained professional at all times but you could tell she felt embarrassed and intimidated by the jumped up little manager. A few customers commented on this. All I can say is if it was one of my daughters the chap wouldn’t be walking again never mind working!!

Went for a table of 3 and was told there had no tables available even though the place was empty and booking online was still available very disappointing would of give no stars

We went here for a drink and found the bar was closed and we had to go to the food area for our drinks.The place wS empty and we went to sit on a 2 chair table to be immediately told that if we were not eating we had to go into tge bar The place was dark and there wasnt a soul in there.We have never been treated like this ever and will never venture back. Train your staff to have some common sense!!!

Called in with my husband on Wednesday, the staff member called Lol always looks after us, knows all the regulars and she is a credit to the Tudor.

Came here on 25th March as a family member wanted to go there for their birthday, and it was all last minute - personally I wish we had not bothered....the service was OK, however the food was awful.....Chips were not advertised as quadruple cooked, however that would have been incorrect (unless multiplied by 3), they were basically cooked to within an inch of total destruction, and the onion rings were not much better, they had certainly seen the inside of the fryer on a few occasions...a couple of the party ordered steaks (2 of which were medium, and both came totally different, with 1 being more rare, however they did change it)....overall the food was worse than average and very small portion sizes....there are better places that charge the same price

3 family members, lunchtime. Food of low to average quality though the staff very friendly, the decore could do with a spruce up, seating a good shampoo, the table tops a re varnished or some nice mats to hide scratch marks. Disqappointed, as the Tudor Rose at one time was a more up market venue

Mother's day with family is fabulous when I don't have to cook and I'm spoiled. The steak with a wine sauce with purple sprouted broccolli followed by a Cadbury chocolate sundae, absolutely delicious. My family opted for the carvery, always on a Sunday with triple chocolate sundae. I'll try that next time it looked scrumptious.. Thoroughly recommend tudot rose.

We visit this restaurant often, regular. But our last 2 visits have been disappointing. First I will say is that that they are short staffed and those that work there are so friendly and polite and work damded hard to please every one. Food, we ordered mixed grill the rump steak I could not cut with the knife, let alone chew it !!, gammon was grizzly and chewy, never been one this before. Our last visit we ordered stack burgers, I ordered mine without sauce and gherkins they came with both of them so sent back, long wait for mine to arrive back , my partner had finished his meal my burger was dry, rubbery,tastless, just like it had been put in a microwave

We go to the Tudor Rose fairly frequently because it’s a reliably good and accommodating with the kids. Plus Brewers Fayre send good offers if you’re a member. The staff are all really helpful, especially Ali who always goes above and beyond. Will be back again soon!

Enjoyed the Fish and chips today off the 2 for 11.49 menu. Food was excellent, great service, and great value for money. A lady called Ali (I think) approached us very cheerful and helpful. We had a early tea 5.45 pm and the meal was piping hot, taste was lovely and the deserts were delicious. I would certainly recommend the Tudor rose for value, cleanliness and friendly. We will certainly travel from North Wales and visit again, definitely recommend.

I have never been one to write reviews until last few months when been asked. We came for a friends birthday one Tuesday evening and was looked after by Sally and Ali. These two ladies were so attentive checking everything was ok making sure our drinks were topped up, even the birthday boy had a little present left on the table. We all had different items from the menu including steaks and mixed grills, even had a gluten free friend, we were very impressed with the gluten free menu and she even was able to have desert which doesn’t happen all the time. We all look forward to coming again very soon.

Had breakfast here and was taken to our seat by the waitress who was called Lol she was very friendly,our breakfast was really nice and piping hot,Lol came back to us to see if everything was OK with our breakfast which I thought was very nice,will be returning.

Stayed in the local area for a family wedding and decided to pop in for breakfast as our local brewers fayre do an amazing brekkie so thought this would be the same. Unfortunately how wrong was I. The blonde lady who served us was rude, and it seemed like we were a burden to her coming in for breakfast at 10am. Even though on the website it says breakfast is served till 10.30 weekdays. I would have scored a 1 but the food was lovely and hot. It was such a shame the server seems to lack customer service skills and make us feel really un welcome. She seemed more interested in getting breakfast off and away rather than letting us eat our breakfast in peace.

We were coming back from a family holiday in North Wales and passed this little pub on the way. Myself and my little family stopped here for some dinner. We were greeted by Ali at the host stand who was warm and welcoming and explained everything about ordering at the bar for our food and drinks. She went away and brought my little girl some colouring packs and crayons to keep her occupied while we waited. Ali then took our order and explained that the kids 3 course meal works out cheaper, she was very knowledgeable about the menu. When the food came out it was very hot and tasty and we all enjoyed our meals and puddings. We can’t wait to come back again on our way to our next holiday. I’m not one for often leaving reviews but just wanted to say what a credit Lynne is to your establishment, My partner and I were just passing through the day after attending a wedding in the area for a quick bite to eat before we headed home. Food was lovely and served promptly, the trio of pies and the chicken & ham hock pie. I was so impressed with Lynne, she was informative and enthusiastic on our arrival and both endearing and polite, fantastic friendly service without being overly intrusive, thank you, it did not go unnoticed!

I have been coming here for several years, usually for lunch. Everything has been really good until there was a problem with the credit card I used to pay with. It failed twice on contactless and twice on the PIN number. I was told they had been having problems with their card machine but they had not put a notice up to tell customers that it was cash only. I had to go back to my table to get my wallet and pay in cash. I had exactly the same problem the month before when I did not have enough money and had to use a debit card which did go through but only on the second attempt. I got in touch with Brewers Fayre HQ after both problems but have heard nothing back at all. I used the card in question immediately before and after both occasions and I must emphasise there is nothing at all wrong with the card I used on both occasions. It went through on contactless first time on each occasion as it should do of course. The staff were at all concerned about the problem, they did not offer to try to do anything about it, they merely asked me if I had another card or enough cash to pay the bill. It is obvious to me that there is a fundamental problem with the link and no one has bothered to try to put it right and that is completely unacceptable. It is obvious that there is a problem with the card processing at this particular restaurant and, for all I know, with the whole Brewers Fayre chain. If I hadnt got enough money or another card I do not know what would have happened as I would not have been able not settle my bill on the two occasions. They were just not interested in helping me nor did they put up the notice I have not referred to above. HQ were also not interested as I have not had a reply from them. I find this very disappointing indeed. All the more so since I had no negative experiences with them in the ten years I have been a patron. I do think the staff at the location should be better trained in dealing with this sort of happening as it has left a rather sour taste in my mouth. Equally, HQ staff should be better trained to deal with this as getting no response at all is not good for customer relations. The food and drink is excellent but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. .

Wen nt here on the way home for a meal after a trip to the theatre in Liverpool, we were asked if we wanted to eat in the restaurant or the bar, we opted for the bar, selection of beers was very limited with mostly lager type of beers available very disappointing, food selection was typical pub grub tasty and plenty of it after ordering the food arrived quickly and was good and hot (it wasn't exactly busy being a Wednesday at 6 o'clock)The atmosphere was somewhat lacking and the music was a little too loud to allow for relaxed conversation, the barman seemed like it was a bit too much trouble to be pleasant

Great value lunch time menu. Friendly and prompt service. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the Cheeseburger. Both very tasty.
