Fabulous food and a great deal for a 2 course mid day lunch. Definitely would recommend and will visit again.

Excellent Sunday roast dinners with tender meats and great yorkshire puddings. Friendly attentive service in pleasant surroundings. All well presented and much enjoyed.

Attended for a monthly meeting of the Rover P4 Drivers Guild and was our first visit prearranged for a meal and drinks for members and room was set aside for us plus part of the car park set aside for our classic Rovers.Could not have been looked after better, the food and service was excellent and we are looking forward to our next meeting.Well done!

Fabulous evening as per usual, we had the haggis needs and tatties fantastic. The whiskey sauce was gorgeous. The staff, the atmosphere in the vale royal never disappoints I know its our local but even our friends from out of the area ask to go there when visiting.

Booked for a Burns Supper night to celebrate the Bard. Excellent service, excellent food (Tatties, Neeps & Haggis), fantastic piper and a quiz night to boot. Great night all round.

Organised a group meal for a bunch of car enthusiasts. Honestly, couldn't be happier. Chose from "Cosy Lunch" menu and thought it was excellent value. Staff were efficient and friendly. The event was easy to organise given the degree of cooperation. Highly recommended.

We were met at the door with a smile and its a good job we booked as it was very busy. The staff were all great and the Sunday dinner was brilliant. It’s a proper country pub and the tractor proves it.

Walked in for Sunday lunch, never been before. I can say it was one of the best Sunday lunches we have had, and didn’t have to wait long before it was on the table. Staff very friendly and helpful and atmosphere relaxed.

We booked a table here as it was two minutes down the road from our holiday lodge and we wanted something local on our first night. I'm very glad we did. The pub is lovely with plenty of parking, the service very good and the food excellent. It was so good we returned 3 days later. I rarely eat burgers but the one on the menu sounded really good so I ordered it and I'm so glad I did, the tastiest burger I have ever had, albeit very large. The onion rings and coleslaw were lovely also. On the next visit I ordered the small fish and chips (having seen the size of the large fish on the previous visit!), also delicious. My husband had the pie which he also found to be excellent. My youngest chose from the kids menu, chicken and then sausages on the next visit, clean plates all round. Unfortunately we were too full for pudding. Service was very good with exactly the right amount of attentiveness. I would add the pinot grigio was the best I have had in a pub also! I only wish this place was closer to where we live. Really good quality food, I would highly recommend and would definitely return if we come back to the area.

After a long family walk in the adjacent Delamere Forrest with my Family, we decided to drop in for Sunday Lunch. Upon arrival, we were seated amedietly and offered drinks and menus as we sat down. The staff are friendly and punctual and the food and drinks where high end quality! My overall experience here was a perfect 10/10! I'd definitely recommend this place!
