The Royal Albert Hall is an amazing venue, but they need to revise the cost of refreshments.... £17 for a tiny measure of sparkling wine in a very poor quality plastic glass, not really fitting for the venue or occasion. On a short trip to London we wanted to visit the Royal Albert Hall. Instead of spending the money on a tour, we bought the cheapest tickets for a concert. We didn't regret it, even if the seats in the upper tier are quite tight for the legs. It is advisable to take your jackets with you up there, because there is a fresh breeze from the ventilation. BUT: it was absolutely worth it, a fantastic view of the surrounding area and of the choir and half of the orchestra, we could also see the scenes on the screen despite the seats to the side. The staff was also friendly and it's worth going to the different tiers with a view of the hall. An absolute highlight on our London trip. 5 stars for that!

Fantastic venue! Once inside the building, we never experienced any que to do anything. Beers and snacks available from the many bars located around the different floors. Very easy to get around and find the way in and out. The acoustic and experience, even from the higher areas is really good!

This venue speaks for itself, It is truly a masterpiece of architecture both inside and on the exterior. The staff were valuable and helpful In ensuring I found my seats and the acoustics sounded fantastic. my only problem is the seats seem to be getting a bit old now. Very few venues in the world rival the artists that perform in them, but this is definitely one. Opened in 1871, the Hall is worth a visit, even if you can't catch a performance there. This was my second time attending a concert there, and both times were extraordinary. Seating in the Hall, which has a history of what has been there before, is a show unto itself. But the sound and circle seating makes for a very personal show. I can't wait until my return!

In this splendid place nestled in an equally beautiful area I had the opportunity to see Cats many years ago and I can say it was a truly remarkable experience. Others followed on the occasion of concerts by very well-known artists and I can only say good things about the welcome of this "theatre" as I like to define it! Beautifully maintained, excellent for acoustics and with all the necessary internal services! I recommend it even just for a visit when possible.. Top

We went to an Ellie Goulding concert at the Royal Albert Hall and what we were treated to there was truly royal. Starting with your own box up to the dinner service in the box. Later edit: seen another cirque du Soleil performance and also a performance of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Verdi's "Requiem". The venue is just awe inspiring. And not just the arena itself, but also all the different bars and nooks and crannies that you can get lost in. Glad I finally made it to this beautiful venue, it's gigantic inside! I sat in the very last row & could see everything just fine. A big detraction though is the sky cam constantly whizzing back and forth with the accompanying high pitched squeal. Incredibly distracting, annoying, and disappointing. Maybe not as noticeable during non-classical performances. I was also waiting for big clods of dust to come falling down from the light riggings or off the columns behind rousing. These probably haven't been cleaned in decades. Particularly odd since there are pyrotechnics in these areas. Lastly it seemed odd that the audience was asked to pay £10 for a program if you wanted one. 🤷

I had a guided tour of the Royal Albert hall it was very informative. It was lovely to see the hall when it's empty it seems so much bigger. I didn't realise that it is as big underneath as it is on top. As all the dressing rooms and kitchens are underneath. I didn't realise that you could fit 500 people standing upstairs when you have last night of the proms. It was nice to see the Royal Box of 20 seats that Queen Victoria brought when it opened and the royal retiring room. The seats were £100 to buy when it first opened they are worth £3000 each if you buy a box of 12 chairs now it's worth £250, 000 from Harrods estates. If you have a tour it's about 90 mins then you can visit the shop and cafe and get 20% off if you show your ticket. You can buy a combined ticket with afternoon tea in the restaurant as well which is very nice. The staff are lovely friendly helpful.

The royal Albert hall lives up to its name, this grand venue in the heart of London is quite staggering to behold at first. Its beautiful architecture rises up into the sky as you approach one of its many entranceways. Inside, the venue is just as astounding, with a few thousand seats lining its auditorium (seats which swivel left and right I should add). Went to a TCT gig for Blossoms and Noel Gallagher. Went for the cheapest seats - which had a hit or miss view of the stage - luckily, we got a hit as we was on Row 1, and far enough around we could just see the screen, as we was behind the stage in the Choir Seats (East) Gents toilets seem few and far between on the first level. Quite a far bars dotted around, biggish queues, went down quite quick though. Pint prices not bad - atleast for london anyway. Absolutley incredible venue - glad i have been able to experience it.

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Beautiful building, staff were helpful. Bought a 'restricted view' ticket. Literally couldn't see the screen (£90!). Complained and was moved to a better seat but only because one was available. Would have been devastated if I'd have had to remain in existing seat as I travelled 200 miles for the event. Shouldn't be selling restricted view for that price (or maybe even at all!). Drinks and snacks expensive (take your own). Easy to get to on the buses and tube. The orchestra and choir were WONDERFUL...was literally mesmerised and kept forgetting to watch the actual film. Ended up being an incredible experience but could have very easily been dreadful.
