Caffe Nero in Nottingham

Just want to say Thankyou to Miriam who greeted me with a lovely smile and great service today while grabbing a lunch break coffee.

I've said it b4. I'll say it again. It. Best place for mocca in town.

Didn't have food just had coffee it wasn't to the usual high standard

I popped in last week for coffee and mince pie and a place to get some work done. There were plenty of options of places to sit including places where I could plug my phone and laptop in as well. I sat in the warmth and comfort working for over 2 hours with a coffee and a mince pie. I was even able to log on to the free Wi-Fi so that I could get my work done. It was ideal. The only disappointment was the mince pie as it just wasn't that good!

For the past two years, this has been my go to cafe on the weekend afternoons! Coffee is great and the staff are super warm and friendly.

If you want to grab a cup of coffee before work or just to go on a quick walk then NERO would be the place for you. The coffee is not the best but it is better than a lot of other places. This branch specifically knows how to make a good cup of coffee.

Been in a few which are dog friendly and welcoming. Lovely choice of desserts

Not been to Caffe Nero's for a long while. I enjoyed a tea without milk and a slice of carrot cake, both were delicious and a fair price. Thankyou.

Pretty usual caffe nero. I think there are cafes in Nottingham with a nicer layout and better places to people watch. I prefer cafes where drinks are in reusable cups when you sit in.

Althoughy special request for coffee with pistachio was fulfilled and the staff was friendly, there were some questionable characters inside which made the atmosphere a bit awkward.

Gabby and Joanna were absolutely lovely tried the cherry iced latte with my daughter when we found the coffee too strong they did it with decafe no extra charge due to having only taken a couple of sips.

My new favourite branch of Nero's in Nottingham. Very much my second home when I'm in the city.

I enjoy coffee here. Overall the service is ok On a couple of occasions I had rude service but went to another chain and had much better service.

Amazing coffee, a great environment and amazing staff that are insanely efficient. They also have a wide selection of treats and sandwiches to enjoy. I will definitely suggest this place if you are looking for great service and a really, really great cup of coffee!

I love the apricot croissants, esp when they are warm from the oven! But they have a great range generally so don't eat all the apricots!

Ever since I have moved to Nottingham, I was looking for a calm cafe to sit, read, contemplate and sip some good coffee. Discovered Cafe Nero branch at Angle Row in February. I spend a couple of hours at the Cafe on Weekend afternoons to read and relax. Love their ambience. It is usually less crowded. Staff members are lovely, cordial and welcoming. Lots of choice for coffee lovers...toilets down some stairs..plenty of seating inside and outside..cake,cookies,and a vast range of food choices..clean and tidy..helpful staff..

Big brand coffee shop. Drink was good. Doors open in shop leaving to a chilly atmosphere. This may have been due to a pigeon, which had entered the building and was sitting on the coving.

For that sit and relax at your leisure, with your drink served hot 🔥 or cold 🥶 and fresh each time. Then This Caffè Nero is the place. It's clean and warm with a friendly service an atmosphere.

Tiramisu was excellent as well as hot chocolate. A quiet place to drink your coffee and read. The barista that day was excellent and very kind, she helped me with what to order. I don't know her name, but I thank her. Yes I highly recommend the location.

Nice to have an expresso out of the crowd but still in Nottingham City centre. I need to take one star away because a wheelchair user struggled to get in the shop having to claim a tall step.

Heading to Old Market Square my twin brother Stephen and decided to drop into The Caffe Nero, been here before on previous visits to Nottingham, its a really good outlet of this franchise. A light and airy interior, nice decor and furnishings, a glass fronted serving bar showcases the delicious goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe,its a cool Caffe Nero. We ordered a flat white coffee each, served steaming hot, we sipped our coffee's and planned out the day ahead. My coffee was really good, a big fan of the coffee served in Caffe Nero, its consistant in all their outlets and their flat white coffee is a particular favourite of mine. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. This Caffe Nero is easy to locate along Angel Row. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 7 30am till 4 30pm. Saturday, 8.30am till 4pm. Sunday, Closed. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Fantastic branch of Nero's. Well situated not far from bus interchange and staff are always lovely. Coffee always tastes great.

The staff are really polite, they often work alone so are very rushed! I feel for them but I still got served very quickly considering. The store is very clean and have nicer toilets the some of the other coffee shops. The vegan raspberry croissant is my favourite item. Worth a visit !

Coffee was a bit thin, wouldn't use our re usable cups but made us use disposable takeaway cups to sit in! I don't blame the staff, in fact the lady who served us was extremely nice, polite and understanding. Cafe Nero really needs to sort it's policies out and get in touch with the world we currently live in!

Always like a Caffè Nero and, although this isn't our usual location, the friendly green haired barista was awesome. Really listened to our requirements and served us with loads of smiles, getting everything spot on! Fantastic 😉👍🤓

My favourite Nero in Nottingham city centre, the staff are great with a sense of humour and very friendly. They also take the time to make you drink a d present it excellently.

Great atmosphere very friendly staff

Cafe Nero is the best of all the chains for the coffee but this cafe leaves a lot to be desired. Usually there are tables full of dirty crockery and we normally have to brush crumbs off the chairs and tables. My main gripe is about the absolutely chronic state of the toilets. You can smell the ladies before you open the door and when inside the toilet, seat and floor are awful, dirty and stained. This is not just daily dirt, this has been accumulating over some time. Also no soap in the dispenser and again the sink is filthy. If the waiting staff do not have time to do a proper job, maybe Cafe Nero should employ a cleaner, I am sure they can afford to. Also maybe Nottingham City Council Environment Health Dept should visit and review the hygiene rating at this establishment.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this place. Maybe I'm struggling to give it 5 stars because I normally make my own drink in the house and office, and don't hold the pompous prats who go around carrying an overpriced coffee in a "Caffe Nero" disposable cup in any regard..

Lovely friendly staff. Great selection of drinks and cakes; however a very poor selection of cake/biscuit options for my wife who is gluten free ... you could try to do a little better here ...

A little pricey, staff are very nice

Called in for a drink before going home after a day out. Only had tea and a cake, not too bad. The cafe itself just wasn't too clean, scruffy. The main toilets were closed off so had to use the disabled toilet.This was disgusting, absolutely filthy, you don't get this in an out door public toilet, couldn't even get the toilet to flush. Spoke to the staff about it but nobody even went to inspect it, they seemed totally disinterested as if they had no idea what to do. Read a review later from Feb 2019 showing pictures of exactly the same problem in the toilet. I would have thought they had had enough time to put the problem right.

Went in on a Sat and found it nice and quiet, drink was good, food was simple, everting as a touch over priced but the piece and quiet made up for that. There were however a few flys bothering us.

There are 2 very helpful lovely ladies at this branch (italian lady and a lady of east asian origins, apologies i do not know their names), making it a pleasant visit everytime i am here with my family. Service has been top. Many thanks.

I love Nero coffee, and on that front this place is not a disappointment. But what makes this head and shoulders above the others is the staff here. Everyone is so friendly, professional and really make the effort so that everyone feels welcome.

Really busy morning at work and looking forward to a relaxing coffee at Nero's but sadly spoilt by a rather rude staff member. Why are some of the Nero's staff so wonderful but the occasional one's look as if they dislike the customers and would rather be working somewhere else!

The man working in this particular coffe shop is just awful and rude. And doesn't know how to make the proper coffee that we are use to drink at Nero Caffé.

Staff are always so friendly and nice here. Orders are completed fast and there isn't an issue of where to sit unlike other coffee shops were people cram in.

I'm currently spending time here while in the middle of appointments. It's been a hectic few days so its nice to have some comfort and friendliness while I attempt to work. Cafe Nero is a well known and established coffee shop - but here on Angel Row, they have made it feel like a personable and low key coffee shop. They welcomed me in with open arms, served me with a smile and are doing everything they can to ensure I am happy. It's rare I write a review for these types of places but this place really needed recognition - in particular the staff working today (14/03/19). Thank you so much.

As a big fan of Caffe Nero we were always going to visit this outlet of their cafe chain as we were staying the Premier Inn a couple of minutes walk from this Caffe Nero. The cafe itself is really nice,a light and airy interior, nice decor and furnishings, it's just one really cosy Caffe Nero Cafe. We were here on a Sunday morning, this cafe was busy with a great atmosphere, we got a cappuccino coffee each, we luckily managed to get a table were we just chilled out and took in the great cafe we were in and planned out the day ahead while enjoying our coffee's. The cappuccino served throughout the Caffe Nero chain is superb,I really enjoy it and so it proved in this outlet. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to this particular Caffe Nero we had a great time. This Caffe Nero is easy to locate on Angel Row. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 7am till 6pm. Saturday, 7.30am till 6pm. Sunday, 8.30am till 5.30pm. A great Caffe Nero,well worth a visit if your in the area.

Enjoyed my toastie and the woman working here is always lovely but the man who works with her is awful. Never have I been served by someone who is so unpleasant and rude. Asked for a bit of ketchup for my toastie (they were very quiet) and he sighed and shook his head and then came back with one sachet and thew it on the table. When that obviously wasn't enough I went back up and asked for another one which was greeted with an eye roll and and then he threw it at me again without looking at me. It's only a bit of ketchup !!!

When I came to this "Italian Cafe" which isn't different to British cafés, the place looked nice. Ordered a large cappuccino and a Cheese Cake. Thankfully I didn't eat it without checking the spoon and knife... They were unclean and dirty, I was surprised... I told the waiter to give me clean ones but instead I received another dirty one which supposedly it should've been clean. At this point I just knew the restaurant was unhygienic... Therefore I checked the Toilet/WC. My God, I was in shock to see the state if the toilet. The floor, the sink and the bin were covered in grease and stains. The soap dispenser was broken and toilet roll holder had no toilet paper. Thankfully I didn't use the toilet otherwise I would've been there for a while... But it's pathetic how things aren't being checked and cleaned. I'm kind of shocked that this Café was rated 5/5... Don't know how people can be so pathetically blind and only concentrate on food but not on the environment that surrounds them. Don't believe what those green, hygenic stickers say. Not all cafés or restaurant are honest with their rating... Would not come to this dirty place ever again.

Not my idea of a comfortable place. Have tasted better coffee, place is reasonably clean.

Inconsiderate staff who don't listen to your order and serve lukewarm coffee. I prefer to use the one on Mansfield Road near Waitrose as the staff know how to listen and always make good coffee. I hate to give bad reviews but this coffee shop was seriously bad. I feel I need to brush my teeth and make a better coffee when I get home to get rid of the taste.

Very peaceful at 7.30am Coffee is always reliable and smoother than Starstruck and Costalot But please please change the music! 😫 I hear the same few CD tracks every time I visit - it must be torture for the poor staff 😥

had nice coffees and extremely nice hot chocolates here on a rainy sunday. a side order of cakes went down well also, excellent staff, nice cafe, good value.

Overall okay, the quality of coffee depends on who makes it. On numerous occasions one member of staff has been unprofessional towards me, flirting and making unnecessary comments. No need for that, have stopped going there, instead using costa coffee now
