Costa Coffee in Cheshire West and Chester

Northwich retail park is the best turned worst costa there is! A great new store opened a few years back and there were no issues for a long time however now the staff are tired grouchy and disheartened. The store started to go downhill around a year ago when a new area manager joined the force but the big change to this store happened when P*****e w****t was assigned to the manager post. I have visited the store daily for years but now won’t go back I think the worst encounter was when I witnessed her racially abuse a staff member on the counter. Generally she is lazy and spend most of her time walking round with a cloth while the other staff struggle during peak hours and it is having a clear negative impact on the staff moral.Get rid of this waste of space and get this store back to being a great store once again!

I visited costa coffee Northwich retail park just before the store was shut down due to the corona virus. The staff were friendly and professional as always however the new area manager was in store and I witnessed her being extremely unpleasant to the store manager. Disgraceful.

This place is great. It's a town centre unit that's quite a lot of the time but when the busy times hit they hit hard, and the staff know it. The staff here are great! They are lovely, helpful, and give you time even when they're at their craziest. The coffee is yummy and the cakes are... Well Costa cakes! What more can be said!

All the Staff at Costa Coffee Tesco Northwich are very pleasant. They just cannot do enough for you. The coffee is always hot and strong. First Class!

The place needs a thorough cleaning. Dirty tables, dirty floors and stained seating. Needs a lick of paint ..... No problem with the service.

We went to Costa on a cold damp misty morning, we had an elderly guide dog with us, the staff were approachable, friendly and kind towards us and the dog, coffee hot and tasty, food nice, shop clean, staff excellent

Decided to sit outside for a coffee and to people watch over the bank holiday weekend. There was a huge queue even with the 3 people behind the counter. Had to wait a good while for a coffee to be madeTables outside were full of dirty cups and plates Next time I’ll do takeout

We visit this Costa weekly, usually on a Friday and have done so for a couple of years. We find the coffee excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited for a quick coffee with friends, the service was quick and the drinks were to a good standard and hot. Only down side was there were no tables that were free and cleaned to sit at and was slightly messy and untidy but was relatively busy.

This is the best coffee shop anywhere the service is supurb good choice of snacks prices are good and the coffee is brill very nice staff always got time for you to say hi .

i accompanied my mother in costa two weekends ago not being a coffee drinker myself. however there are a fine range of desserts to sample and a good selection of soft drinks. the Costa is convenienlty positioned near the car park and very comfortable stopping point on the way back home

Visited this morning with my son just for a hot chocolate, I found it shocking... dirty piled high tables. Slow service as que was out of the door.. wrong orders being given!

Having spent far too much money over the Costa counter over the years I now feel it's getting a bit jaded - or maybe it's just me. The heart had gone out of the brand as they squeeze more money out of you for a smaller drink (our take out carrier has to be padded out now to stop the smaller cups from moving).

The lighting in here is very very bright. I've been in many Costa places none of them as bright as this. For me as a Visually Impaired customer it was a great problem.

Dreadful staff, Toilets are a disgrace. Sinks so small you can hardly wash one hand never mind two , half the staff aren't competent in making a decent coffee and don't know how many shots should go into a large cappuccino

Thought we'd give it a quick try before visiting the cinema. Lovely and clean and a huge drink, a small would more than suffice. Also might be an idea to try the sandwiches as it's a healthy alternative to the snack food in the cinema.

We popped in today for coffee and chat - there were lots of staff members behind the bar (far too many) and they were all shouting orders very loudly at each other.

I asked for a caramel cooler and they gave me a caramel cooler Latté 😭 I hate Coffee. She didn't even smile.

I have visited this particular branch of Costa coffee twice in two days. I have found on both occasions that the staff were very slow. Service is a big part of the Costa experience and in my opinion it was sadly lacking. Hopefully it will improve in the future.

This has to be one of my best places to go for a coffee and cake , lots of nice cakes and pastry to eat .

The standard of coffee, preparation and food varies greatly - after some recent improvements it was back to the bad old ways, with staff clueless on how to make and present a coffee. The unloving way in how the latte was prepared and slopped into the glass confirms how poor the standard of coffee preparation is. Fellow Australians would be horrified. Hygienic standards of handling food also left room for improvement. Northwich desperately needs somewhere to have a decent coffee.

My partner and i visit here most weeks for coffee. Clean and tidy and willing to help. One thing is that they can not always get the soya drinks correct the first time, we always have to take it back up to be topped up.

It was just a run of the mill Costa,but since they have extended it,one can get a seat most of the time.

Went here thinking that it was still a Tesco cafe but a it disappointed when we saw it was now a Costa Coffee. We had sandwiches and drinks which were on the expensive side for what you get.

I only have a black coffee in these places and this is consistent with the other branches. The barista understands what I want and the place always has somewhere to sit.

This Costa is always busy but the staff are friendly and very welcoming with small children. Never had a bad experience.

This is one of the larger Costas, it looks very new and has lovely new seating. The place was nice and clean, the staff were very pleasant. We had Cappuccino and Mocha and muffins, all were yummy! This seems a nice place to meet up with friends, it has different size tables, one of them quite large. We will definitely go back there when we visit Northwich again.
