Excellent shared meal in this brasserie that can even be called a restaurant! The setting is magnificent with a very appreciable view of the open kitchen. We loved the delicious dishes as well as the very warm and dynamic service. For dessert, I recommend the Black Forrest with its magical chocolate dome! A delight! A very beautiful revisit of the traditional black forest! I highly recommend ! THANKS !

I love the East way and have been here on numerous occasions. I love it so much. They do great water and coffee and also the food is amazing. The staff are amazing and helpful. Another must visit in Liverpool Street. An absolute must. P.s. i cant believe how quickly you replied. I wonder if you can help me. There was a girl who worked here who helped me with a greek salad. Do you know what she is doing now? Is she still working here? She really helped me. Also can i just say ritz carlton is awesome abd very wise. Also i love your gin and tonic. Worst experience. The coffee was so cold pancake uncooked and the price is too much. Don’t waste your money

We stopped in here for breakfast. It's a hotel so they have the normal breakfast buffet, which looked very good with a great selection. We opted for a-la-carte and I had the 3 egg omelette, you know when you are eating somewhere a little special when they ask you what fillings, the menu has about 6 options, you say "how many can I pick" they reply "as many as you want". Most places it would be one! My wife went for the full English breakfast with scrambled eggs and white toast, yes there is a toast selection, I chose sourdough. The omelette was perfectly cooked, and just what I was looking for today. The full English is a meal for two, it's huge! There is no skimping here. It's like a food challenged, that my wife failed just for clarity. The staff were lovely, the place has a lovely buzz going, not too loud but enough to be fun. Oh, yes coffee... I have vanilla latte, and the vanilla syrup arrived in a shot glass, the detail is fantastic, to not assume how much vanilla you want in your coffee! It's the little things surrounding great food that makes this 5 stars.

My son and I cmae here on Christmas day. The menu included three courses and a glass of wine or fizz. We knew we could not eat that much so skipped the starter. Our waiter went out of his way to speak with the manager who gave us another glass of wine instead. Over and above what we expected. I had the turkey and the portion was just right, as well as being very soft and delicious. My son had the steak and he said it was the best steak he had ever eaten. Dessert was great too. Service extremely good and all the staff were very friendly. Quite a find for Christmas day. Congrats to their team.

Wybraliśmy tę restaurację na kolację wigilijną. 🎄 I to była bardzo dobra decyzja ☺️ Mój wybór był trafiony 💯 procentach: smażone przegrzebki, stek z sosem pieprzowym oraz świąteczna rolada z pomarańczową galaretką. Największe wrażenie zrobiły na mnie przegrzebki 🔝🔝🔝 symfonii smaków i struktur. Stek midium był fajnie upieczony pozostając lekko różowy w środku ☺️ To było bardzo smaczne doświadczenie kulinarne i przemile spędzony czas. Tego dnia kuchnia pracowała tylko w składzie dwuosobowym, niemniej lokal trzymał wysoki poziom, a drobne braki na talerzu (na przykład karmelizowanej marchewki przy steku) nie były tak mocno zauważalne. Dania serwowano przepyszne i pięknie podane. Ukłony dla szefa kuchni. Dziękujemy ❤️

Service wasn’t great / wine very expensive and service charge high but food was good

Many items from the menu not available, unpleasant desert options, very over priced and service was peculiar. When i asked for some pepper and parmizan with my pasta. The waiter looked at me like I was from another planet. Not recommended 😕

We were warmly welcomed and provided with water and a nice table, but although the restaurant was almost empty, we had to look for waiting staff to take our orders. The food was well prepared,n although my risotto was rather thick. I think the prices were high for a very average lunch. In all, the Brasserie is a friendly place, and very convenient for Liverpool Station but the music was too loud, so I don’t think we will eat there again.

It was a great experience overall... service was good, food was nice and the wine was crisp and cold just as it should be. I would visit again - this time I was on a business lunch.

I don't recommend this place to anyone, the service was unbelievably awful, unprofessional and slow even though it was empty. the food was tasteless, my friend and I ordered mojito and espresso martini both drinks were not good. I will never ever waste my money and time again in this venue. please make yourself a favour and look for another restaurant.

This is a great setting in a good location, but it feels like a hotel restaurant (which it is) and it is no surprise that it was empty. I was entertaining a customer too, disappointing.

On arrival, front of house was absent/uninterested. Ten minutes before anybody came past (it wasn't very busy) and he got me a drink very quickly (thank you). The other server seemed unaware. possibly new. The concept of sharing a risotto (which was excellent) seemed a new thing to her. (It was the perfect size for sharing, as was the chicken Caesar Salad which we shared for a main course. This place, and that food, deserves a better environment and the charming waiter and waitress deserve better training. Shame. David

Really overpriced- soup of the day over £12! Very inattentive service despite being empty.

There was a new chef who made delicious and unusual dishes . The staff were friendly and attentive and it is very handy just around the corner from Liverpool St Station . An excellent find !

Superb three course meal, attentive, knowledgable and friendly service. Highlights of the meal were the tomato soup, like nothing we’ve tasted before, Caesar salad with crispy lettuce, light sauce and tasty anchovies with crispy bacon pieces, followed by a smoked haddock fish cake bursting with flavour and an amazing homemade vegan sausage cassoulet. Deserts were sublime, especially the chocolate fondant, words can’t describe how special it was, the cheesecake was excellent too. Big thanks to Ef and Carlton who were spot on and on the ball, very special thanks to the amazing chefs. Will most definitely revisit and strongly recommend anyone reading this tries it out.

The food was mouthwateringly delicious! The service was sadly very slow :( Beautiful surroundings and nice and quiet.

Arranged to have a leisurely lunch with my husband and two friends. Although we thought the food was a little expensive, the food quality warranted the cost. I had a salad Nicoise with fresh tuna. Others had burger and fries, the fishcake, and an alternative tuna dish. The menu provides the total calories per dish if you're looking for lower calorie options. We also had starters (try the avocado, quinoa and beetroot hummus), a bottle of wine and two beers, which cost us approximately £50 each. Located next to Liverpool Street station - ideal for a good meal before or after travelling with or without company. Good service. On this occasion, it was relatively quiet.

I had lunch with a friend today and once we have finished our main course, we were offered the bill straight away instead of anything else,before even our plates were cleared. We hoped to see deserts menu and found this very odd as we were in the restaurant for less than 1.30h , and the restaurant was not even half full of its capacity. Although we would have liked to have desserts and maybe a coffee, we paid the bill and went elsewhere for deserts and coffees. We didn’t want to make a fuss, however I have never found myself in a restaurant where they present you the bill without even asking for it, without even clearing your plates beforehand !!! Overall a bitter we left with a bitter taste . The food though was very good and tasted very fresh also . Drinks were also good and were served efficiently. But a big disappointment when it came down to service .

Lovely restaurant, service was very good as well as the food (tho could’ve been hotter) pricing was adequate for a london brasserie. However the restaurant was pretty much empty for a Friday which I’d consider quite a popular day in london so the ambience was poor which didn’t add to the overall experience.

I have always known this place for its convenience. Right on top of Liverpool St station. But the food has improved and now I enjoy it for the food quality also. Service is excellent!

Sehr leckeres Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Schönes Restaurant mit guter Lage direkt an der U Bahn Station. Habe den Angus Burger mit Süßkartoffeln und gemischtes Gemüse gegessen. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service/ Personal. Durfte mein Handy währenddessen aufladen :-) Definitiv zu empfehlen! Preis Leistung passt.

Not my best experience at the restaurant but it was not very busy and the overall performance reflected the quietness.

Food was lovely and a nice environment inside the restaurant with a relaxed yet quality feel. Service was bizarre, we felt like a genuine inconvenience for being there from the moment we said hello we have a reservation please, and service incredibly slow despite being fairly empty and seeing multiple waiting staff on shift. Service charge automatically added to bill, and no opportunity to have this removed despite poor service.

Food was very good. The service was slow and disorganised, in spite it was a weekday lunch in a business area. It took us a long time each time to draw attention of the staff in spite the restaurant wasn’t busy. We had to ask a few times for our order or reorder from different waiters.

Lovely food, fairly good service but the very loud live music was quite intrusive. I found it hard to hear my friends over our lunch. Please can you re-consider the volume of your background music, so that it doesn’t dominate so much? Thank you

On booking the table, saw that there were 2 menus to choose from, the Brunch and the À La Cart. The brunch menu was more like a breakfast menu with a couple of dishes that weren’t, so I thought I’d opt for the À La Cart. Upon arriving I asked for the À La Cart menu but was told the Brunch menu was all they had today. If I had known I would have made the reservation. They had live music which was great, but it was too loud, me and my friend had to draw our chairs together to have a conversation. The service wasn’t great either. It’s a nice place and could be really great, if they sort those few things out, which are important.

Service wxcellent as always but I ordered cooked breakfast, ingredient were somehow poor, it came luke warm and looked like they would put it on the plate from buffet. I expect something more for £24

Had our Christmas lunch there. Food was average and restaurant lacked character.

Staff is friendly, but the service is very slow & the waiters are slightly forgetful. We had to remind the waiters 3x that we had ordered beverages...they only brought them after 30 min. The venue was not full on a Friday (lunchtime) and I believe that it reflects the quality of the food & service. My salad arrived with a dressing (despite requesting the dressing on the side) & the food lacked character. That said - staff is very friendly (just not efficient).

We had a table booked for 1pm and to be honest the restaurant wasn't very busy but the service was poor, the staff under trained well enough and no customer experience or customer service. We waited ages for the food, then it didn't all come together. Overall poor and would struggle to go back again.

Service very good. Greek Salad excellent. Chicken dish - dry and overcooked. Table had not been wiped - had salt flakes scattered on it.

This is genuinely the best restaurant i have been too. Prices arent too bad. The burgers are so good and the cocktails too! Shame you have to pay for fries separately though. The staff are so kind a generous especially for my dog. Have been here a few times alone and they make me feel very comfortable. Will definitely be returning!

We just had breakfast it was the worst ever poach egg was cold under cook suppose to be 5 star the food defenatly one star never eat in this place again

The brazzerie was empty. Only 3 covers. Prices and services for drinks was really overpriced. With only 3 covers food was quick and to be fare good value. Service was not good even though staff out numbered clients 3 to 1. High service charge not realy warranted.

The food, the service and prices are not worth it.

Very helpful and friendly staff. We had a gluten free guest and the chefs staff went out of their way to ensure everything was cooked separately , which was outstanding. They grilled the chicken instead of using the oil previously used for breaded chicken. It was fairly quiet but it still had a good atmosphere. It was a Sunday afternoon. The only negative was we could only select from the Brunch menu as it was before 5pm. We would of liked to have had the option of using both that and the A la Carte.

Popped here with overseas friend for early dinner. Food was good and service was ok, waiter could have offered to try wine we chose, it was an expensive cork wine, but no big deal.

The overall service and food was good. However, why do you have outrageously expensive price on the desserts? And the dessert was as normal as any other place I have tried. Besides I had to get the coffee changed as it was not as expected. But overall, a nice place to eat and chill. Thank you!

Lovely beyond belief. Natalia has been so tentative and welcoming she made it like home with a twist of fine dining, she marketed and helped build business bridges with my requests to further enquire about future event space in 1901. The food was exquisite, definitely worth a come back!

Went there for dinner last night with a friend and both of us had an absolutely smashing time. Excellent, attentive (without being intrusive) service from Natalia, an absolute sweetheart and the food and drinks were excellent too - as a coeliac, it's been years since I've seen GF crispy squid on a menu, and it was delicious. My friend and I have been looking for somewhere for our regular dinner dates and now we've found the place!

Be careful with allergies. I visited Eastway Brasserie for afternoon tea the other week and was served food that contained sesame, which I had told the waiter I was allergic to and was reassured there would be none. We were then invited back to dine, as an apology, for a complementary 3 course dinner with a drink. However, I would not recommend dining here. The glasses of wine were warm when it arrived at the table, there was again miscommunication with the steak order - medium well was served as opposed to medium rare. The steak was also very salty. Despite the meal being free, looking at the prices of what we would have paid, it is not a good representation of quality. It is definitely overpriced. £29 for a steak plus an extra £2 for peppercorn and £5 for a side of fries is ridiculous. The waiter was very nice and friendly but unfortunately this was not enough to compensate for the food quality and past experience of having an allergic reaction.

Excellent food - every single pate at our table of 4 was empty! Nice wine selection too. Can’t wait to go back - would highly recommend. Great decor - and the open kitchen style is clean, seats comfy.

A wonderful evening - Efe our waiter was both efficient and extremely knowledgeable especially around the wines. We were a large party and he was patient and helpful with all our questions. Thoroughly recommend this place and you will be very lucky if Efe is your waiter! Thank you!

First visit. Haddock fish cakes were hot and tasty. Said it came with a vegetable salad, this was just a salad, couldn't find any vegetables, but tasty and complimented the fish cakes very well. Service attentive. No need for bowl of herby chips, this was a large bowl of chips, generous portion, enough for two, but not very herby, but enjoyable, nonetheless. Would I visit again? Yes, I would. Great location, around the corner from Liverpool Street Station.

This place is great! I had the aubergine gratin and I am by no means a vegetarian but I could live off that dish every day for the rest of my life. The staff are so pleasant and friendly.

Brilliant evening. The service was excellent. No rushing us as we had the table for the evening. Such a refreshing change. The food and drink were tasty and would highly recommend.

The food was very good but was unfortunately let down by the poor service. We were served quite quickly but unfortunately our side dishes weren’t out through in the system. We had main courses and had to wait for the sides to be cooked. Our plates were cleared promptly but they left some dishes in the middle of the table. We were then completely ignored - no one asked us if we would like desserts/more drinks we had to attract attention (which wasn’t easy) to order coffees and get the bill. We would have spent more money had someone served us.

Food was good, but lacking slightly in flavour and even basic seasoning. The bar food was extortionate. We were charged £3.50 for small bowl of crisps. The pitta bread that was served with the beetroot hummus was simply warmed up, no added flavours, which I think resulted in the cardboard texture. Altogether the crisps, a small bowl of olives, beetroot hummus & pitta cost £35! We weren’t presented with a menu for the bar food, neither did we ask so lesson learnt!

We had vouchers for 3 meals and drinks for two people and must say at very affordable prize. Food came fast and tasty, staff was helpful and overall good experience. Must say the images of he restaurant looked fancier on the website where we got the vouchers from and I probably overdressed for this place (or at least that's how I felt). I would have done good with just casual clothes.

Very good food, good service. Only issue was I made a reservation by OpenTable, and the restaurant had no record of this. I showed the restaurant the confirmation email. The restaurant was not busy, so a table was found.

Valentine’s day experience was truely an exceptional one. It will be nice to have many other themed dinners like this one! Loved it!

Nice comfy table, restaurant quite quiet. Access difficult with a buggy as three steps into restaurant. Service quite slow but we weren't in a hurry so didn't mind. Food was very tasty, portion size was ok. The main complaint- the massively overpriced coffee and desserts. Madness!

Overall very good experience. The Brasserie is connected to the Andaz Hotel - the bathrooms were located in the hotel and were immaculate. The restaurant was probably 75% full when visiting so had a good vibe without being too overcrowded or noisy. Great background music was playing without being too loud. Service was great though I was surprised to see a service charge of 13.5% on the bill as opposed to the usual 12.5%. Nevertheless I paid it in full. As it is next to Liverpool Street station very easy access for transport links. I wouldn’t mind revisiting again soon

Lovely atmosphere, not loud so easy to chat. Food was good but felt it wasn’t anything special.

We had a Sunday brunch here with a party of four. We had very good service, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, e.g. the eggs royale. They even made pancakes for my wife even though it was not on the menu. This was a great bonus of the kitchen, and the staff member who asked it in the first place. I only think the orange juice was not fresh, even though it says fresh orange juice on the menu.

A great Brasserie with a lovely menu in a great location. Very good service. No irritating loud music. A great place to meet and eat.

Despite having a reservation, it took roughly ten minutes to be seated in a near empty restaurant. Service staff only came around every twenty minutes or so for beverage service and the bill, were socializing behind the bar instead. If it weren’t a holiday and other places in the area were open, we would’ve left within minutes.

A huge thank you to the manager on duty Christmas day evening, for letting my wife and family eat it was late, we were desperate to eat.. and with 10 minutes left till kitchen closed, he let's us seat.

Disappointing christmas eve dinner experience - dry, overcooked steak, dessert too sweet, liver pate so dry and tasteless. Their christmas menu was a total failure, 75 pp price was ridiculous.

It was...ok. Would I go back? Maybe. It was just not memorable and the party agreed that £250 for lunch for 6 people where no one had alcohol was a bit steep when all we really had was burgers and chips.

In general I cannot fault Eastway. The food is good quality, but there is not enough vegetarian option. We were told that there is more on the lunch menu, and maybe it’s a potential improvement to either include more vegetarian options( or expand the brunch menu? The staff is friendly in general and very knowledgable but the service definitely needs to be improved. The drinks were good, but it took a while for it to arrive which does eat into our bottomless drink time that we were not aware of… Because we weren’t told when our 1.5 hour start and finished - we got a bit of a shock when we noted in our bill that the hot drinks were not included. We queried it, and whilst the staff eventually took the hot drinks off the bill, it was clearly that he lied about “not about to talk to my manager about this but I can take it off” because we saw him on the phone talking about the bill and proceeded to change things on the system.

Lovely food & excellent service...But a little too hectic for me

Business lunch that worked out perfectly. Staff were attentive, the chef came to visit, and the fish and veggies were cooked to perfection.
