If you want to have a nice relaxed breakfast for reasonable price, then dont go here.

Lots of potential just really poor experience of food. While it looks the part it is all precooked and left warmed. So textures and flavours were not enjoyable. There are much better places in town but sadly they open a bit later. Coffee was nice, but for the price it was very average.

This cafe is so nice and lovely, such a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a cup of coffee! I love what I ordered: the soufflé pancakes (so fluffy)🥞 and oat latte☕️! Highly recommend for everyone

Really great, stand out service in here. Food was so good, you can tell they use very high quality ingredients. Coffee was smooth & the dulce de leche cruffin was amazing! Venue was really cool too, perfect for photos. Definitely will be back when I visit Liverpool.

Loved our breakfast, we had walked around Liverpool and everywhere else had a queue but this was a hidden gem and had plenty of tables. Staff were lovely, food was great, different things on the menu made it more interesting , only niggle-a tiny bit greasy. Coffee was lovely. The cakes looked fab but were a little dry. Would definitely visit again if visiting Liverpool..

The food is good, but the service is bad. My order arrived an hour after I paid for it. If they are passing through Liverpool they will waste a lot of time here.

Best brunch I’ve ever had! The quality of the ingredients they use is absolutely top notch. I had the baked eggs (similar to a shakshuka) and it was so flavourful, definitely recommend. The coffee is also really good and the staff was very kind and patient event when the place got busy. Looking forward to coming back soon 😊

The staff were really welcoming; the establishment was jam packed but it was a relatively short wait all things considered! The food tasted amazing and came pretty quickly after ordering. 100% would come back!

Came here for breakfast, as the reviews were really good and there's always a queue outside on weekends. We ordered 2 full cooked breakfasts and 2 coffees. The coffees arrived quickly and we're really nice. The breakfast took 40 minutes to arrive and when it did it was cold, the bacon wasn't cooked and looked grey. The manager came to speak to us and arranged for a replacement which arrived within 5 minutes! The bacon still had a pluse and the poached eggs were saturated in vinegar. How can you get it so wrong, could have been amazing but it wasn't. Up there with the worst experience of eating out I've ever had. Please get a chef that can cook!

Lovely place! We got seated super quick on a busy Sat for a table of 8. Delicious coffee and great service!

Good coffee, decor and playlist. BAD food. I had the corn fritters - it was hugely over salted. Felt like a chore to eat it, but I had already paid so ate as much as I could. Tongue felt sandpapered by the end of the meal. Also, they do not offer table service but ask for a tip when you order at the counter. Not sure on what basis they feel they deserve a tip. Bottom line, probably good for a coffee. Wouldn't come back for food.

We waited 30' to be seated (the waiter said 10') and then we waited 50' for our food (they said under 30'). Then the food was okay but not good enough when you wait almost 1h30 for a breakfast.

Not all of them, but one of the girls in the till was super rude to me this morning.. if you are in a bad mood stay at home.

It pains me to put a low review for this place as the staff were super nice and friendly but a group of 4 of us went there on Monday and we were waiting around 50/60 minutes for our food. It was reasonably busy but not absolutely rammed. After about 35 mins, someone came over and acknowledged the wait and offered us a free round of drinks (we'd already ordered more drinks after 20 mins) which we appreciated but we were all so hungry. We also had our car park booked until 13:00 so after we had finally eaten, we didn't have time to do anything else because we had to go back to our car. When the food did come out, they got my order wrong. My boyfriend and I ordered 1 hardy builders butty and 1 schnitz sarnie (our mates ordered 2 builders buttys) but instead we got 4 builders buttys. I didn't say anything at the time because I just needed to eat something and didn't want to wait any longer. The builders butty was nice but the bread had been cut badly so it didn't really have a bottom and the contents of the butty were falling out. It's a shame because I think we'd have loved this place had it not been for the wait and wrong order. I would have appreciated a partial refund too tbh. I really liked the decor and the place had a good vibe. The ceiling pendants with plants in were beautiful. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go again.

Lovely genuinely friendly staff, amazing chicken burger (can’t remember the exact name of it ) and lovely views and vibes. Student discount available too which is great.

Loved the vibe of this place. The plants and natural light made a great environment for enjoying a delicious breakfast and great coffee. Food was excellent, and service was outstanding. If there was one issue with the place it would be that the menu is too good, so choosing what you want is so hard!

always wanted to try here and i was surprised by how lovely it was. the staff were super nice and cheery for a wednesday morning! the food was so good and arrived fast. definitely would recommend and there’s more seating upstairs - so if you think it’s full it’s bot!

Highly recommend lovely modern design that is eye catching but welcoming with magnificent looking food taste match it’s appearance. Would totally come again to study and enjoy meals.😁😁

Second time visiting. Food was good although service ruined experience completely. Waited over an hour for food. Continuously had to prompt waiting staff for both our drink and food orders. Several other tables which ordered after us received their orders ahead of us. Noticed other unhappy customers. So many brunch locations in Liverpool, will give this one a miss in future.

Long wait...but worth it. One of the most popular places in Liverpool at the moment, even though there was a queue we were given free hot chocolate for the wait and excellent service once we did get seated, would 10/10 recommend 👍

I ordered a salted caramel brownie and I have to say it was the best brownie I’ve ever had in my life never had anything so good. My friend had soufflé pancakes with peanut butter and fruit which they loved The service was great too lovely people

Top quality, relaxed and spacious. Pricier than a standard greasy spoons but the food is cooked better and the produce is better. Had the nicest poached eggs I've eaten in a long time.

Wanted to try for a while, did not disappoint. Service and atmosphere very good. Visited mid week and didn’t expect it to be as busy but wait wasn’t too long, staff relaxed but friendly. French toast was so nice. Will be back.

With a very warming welcome to me and my pooch I Settled with an excellent menu . A bottle of cool water was put on the table and I set to choose from a varied and interesting menu. I processed my order and the little waiting was worth it. Eggs Benny, normally assassinated by most brunch establishments. These were cooked to perfection. The soft glistening yokes runny, but not so much that loses its creaminess. The chives on top enough to give bite to the spinach. The Benny sauce was creamy and tasty not sickly and drowning the other elements, the Bread deliciously crunchy. Hope to be back.

Nice clean place , staff are very helpful , I ordered the french toast and a mocha , which were very good , would definitely eat here again . I don't know if you can pay cash here though , I ordered through a bar code at my table and paid for it on my phone , ( just a note for us older people who are used to paying a bill the normal way ) , my food and drink arrived in good time.

Lovely coffee and staff very nice

Went here for anniversary brunch. We ordered our food and were told it’d be a 15-20 minute wait which is fine. We sat waiting for an hour seeing several tables seated after us getting their food. When we asked where our order was we were told it would be up soon, before finally having a staff member apologise at the 1 hour mark and offer us complimentary coffee to try and apologise for the wait. At 1 hour 20 we finally got our food and my “toolbox” full English was room temp/lukewarm at best. A really disappointing visit and wouldn’t come back again considering the terrible service vs price. The food itself was as tasty as a lukewarm full English could be, but just a general waste of time, energy and money.

Disappointing. They forgot the bacon on the eggs Benedict waitress said you will have to pay for it if you didn’t order it I will have to check that , you will have to pay extra, not oh sorry I will check for you. Then to be told I don’t think you did so asked them to check .. yes we did. Bacon bought under cooked just before we finished. The eggs were just over done and the special mozzarella fella supposedly on toasted ciabatta not toasted or fresh ciabatta. Special Coffee was good but not worth the walk and poor customer service. Shame as customer service and attention to detail goes a long way.

Walked in and were greeted by "we are closing soon" It was 16:40. We said no problem, just going to have hot drinks. Ordered, wanting to pay but prompted if I wish to tip. How can one tip before the actual service, it's illogical. Our hot beverages served in takeaway waxed paper cups. I asked for cups and saucers instead. The reply was "we are closing soon". Terrible customer service! There are plenty of other cafes in Liverpool where one gets greeted with a friendly smile and excellent customer service. I highly would not recommend.

Gorgeous cafe, I ordered the french toast with white choc & almond crumble with fruit / salted caramel. Very delicious and flavoursome, alongside a Tiramisu Iced Latte (special for the week) also very good. The staff were so lovely!! Would recommend.

Lovely styling. Food really good. Staff seem…ambivalent. Tap to tip on way out (set at £2) and first think that comes up as you pay is ‘How much would you like to tip’ kind of says it all…

This is such a lovely cafe has a lovely atmosphere about it, very relaxing and pretty. Coffee and food is really great as well I’m very picky about places and this one ticks all my boxes would 10/10 recommend. I also love the menu the choices are great!

A great breakfast place. A nice selection of breakfasts from Porridge to full English. All at reasonable prices. My husband had the full toolbox. I chose the caramelised fig porridge with apple compote. We were both very happy with our choices.

been to hardware few times and realised it’s always been a weekday and it’s always been lovely. however, took a friend (who has sensory issues) for the first time on a sunday and the experience was very jarring as the toys provided for children are very loud toolkits. several children on different tables hammering away felt like eating breakfast on a building site. even for myself, with no additional needs, found it very annoying whilst enjoying breakfast to constantly listen to it. feel sorry for staff who have to endure for full shifts. its very kind and thoughtful to provide toys for children but maybe just stick to colouring books.
