Lord Raglan in City of London, Westminster

Popped in to the Lord Raglan for a pint and was very impressed with the range and quality of the beer. Also easy to get served on a busy Thursday night and met with very friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

Great service, friendly staff. One member even remembered what my friend had previously ordered to drink which saved me ordering her the wrong drink for her. Not far from St Paul’s station, near London Wall roundabout.

Great pub , friendly , great service and fantastic manager made us feel very welcome and the steak pie was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

This is a rather nice Greene King pub on two floors. I was here at 4pm on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy. It has wood panelling and low level lighting giving it a cosy feel. They have a good selection of drinks including 5 cask ales. I opted for a double bourbon (£7.90 for a double, £5.40 a single). They do offer food from a typical pub menu eg fish and chips, burgers etc. Look out for the lunchtime special, food and non alcoholic drink £10. The location of this pub is great, St Pauls cathedral is just a 5 minute walk away. They have 2 pool tables and a dartboard upstairs which is also where you find the toilets.

Had lunch here and couldn’t rate the quality of food highly enough - steak pie especially! The staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I’ll definitely be back.

I visit the lord Raglan every week, mid week and I am never disappointed. The staff are lovely, it's always clean and tidy and the food and drinks are always spot on. If you're passing definitely pop in for a drink and some lunch.

This spot is amazing!! Came here for some classic British dinner and the food was perfect. Large portions of yummy food accompanied with amazing service by the staff 💗💗 Can't wait to come back again soon !!

Huge thanks to Maria and team at The Lord Raglan for providing such excellent service at my retirement gathering. The food was excellent and plentiful, and well presented. There was a good choice of quality beers and drinks too. Maria was extremely helpful with advice prior to the event and all the staff provided a friendly and efficient service on the day, making the event so easy for me, beforehand and on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble and as I required - quality food and drink with good service in a nice London pub.

Hired the pool tables for a big group. Area is perfect, sadly let down by two tables that need fixing. Balls curving all over the place and not running anywhere near true. Outside firm manages, they need to spend some money.

Good pub, has TV screen with sports and pool tables and darts upstairs. Good variety of beers. Most of times we visited there was plenty of space upstairs.

If you're near St Paul's, here is one of the pubs to go to. Not as good as some of the others but it's still worth dropping in if you're around. The men's toilet is upstairs.

Proper busy for a Thursday but that’s all pubs in London. Really enjoyed it, had great view of the Tv and great atmosphere. The upstairs was absolutely heaving, in a good way with the pool tables being an absolute hit. Would recommend.

Maria was very kind to us, we ate a lot and delicious food 😋. The atmosphere is nice and cosy. You feel like at home, and it was decorated in the Christmas spirit and well. I highly recommend the pub and Maria.

We went at a quiet time on a sunday so not much atmosphere. The food was great & plenty of it (couldnt manage dessert). The staff were very friendly & helpful. Snooker tables upstairs so I expect the place is buzzing on a weekday.

Typical Greene King pub but a pint of Neck Oil here is £7.40 now. When I came here maybe 6 months ago it was still somewhere around £6 something. It’s frankly outrageous! I think it’s the most expensive I’ve had in Central London so far for a Neck Oil. Would just recommend getting a cocktail now instead. It’s probably cheaper. There are also plenty of other pubs in the area where you can get a cheaper pint.

What disappoints me most about this pub is the food. Really poor quality. I wouldn't recommend getting a bite to eat here. Drinks is fine, and the fact it shows all the sports and has a couple of pool tables is a cool addition. But keep it to drinks would be my suggestion.

It’s a nice hidden away pub that’s not too crowded. Biggest bonus and secret being that it has coin pool tables and dart upstairs for just a pound a game.

We went to visit our friend Jayne the GM of the Lord Raglan. Wow what a lovely traditional London pub. Spotlessly clean from the shining brass to the outside tables. Found it so easy from St Paul's subway. What a shame the world of Covid has closed most of the office's around there but I'm positive it will pick it's self back up very soon. Love to all the team thank you for a brilliant afternoon X

Stopped here for a nice drink. It’s a spacious, clean pub with down-to-earth ambience. The prices are quite high but it is the City! Staff are helpful and professional.

Great staff, good food, brilliant service and it's a really nice proper boozer.Donna and her team are trying really hard to thrive in these testing times where footfall has dropped as businesses in the City cope with the "New Normal".Highly recommend for drinks, food and just a pleasant pub experience which is fast disapperaring and needs to be cherished - those who are trying need supporting!

Excellent service-Tom was lively, attentive and with a quirky sense of humour. Good deal on food until end of October. Love eating in the "outside -in" dining area.

Frequently visit the Raglan as the prices are reasonable, the staff are friendly accommodating and efficient, the table service is fast, and the food is tasty (recommend the nachos/halloumi and chips)

I had a very good experience recently when I visited this pub with several friends. The staff were very friendly, very mindful and accommodating to the Covid protocols, and the food was tasty and had good portions.I would recommend this pub to anyone, either as an evening meet with friends as i did, and also just to drop in for a quick drink and a snack if in the area.

He estado aquí dos veces con amigos del trabajo desde la facilidad del cierre. Hemos decidido que este será nuestro lugar habitual para una reunión central, ya que muchos de nosotros estamos trabajando en casa. Excelente ubicación, personal eficiente con la administración vigilando de cerca y asegurándose de que todo funcione bien. Tanto la cerveza de barril como la selección de comida caliente son excelentes, al igual que la calidad. Me sentí muy seguro, ya que este es un gran pub, el distanciamiento no es un problema y se cumplieron todas las medidas. También hay mesas de billar en 1 piso de la calle, aunque no las hemos usado (todavía). Muy recomendable, ¡este lugar no te decepcionará! !

Comencé a visitar el Raglan recientemente para encontrarme con algunos amigos del trabajo para ponerse al día. Realmente me gusta el pub, buena selección de cervezas, la comida es buena y Chris, Jayne y todo el personal no podrían ser más acogedores. En un mundo de distanciamiento social de COVID, el pub también está muy bien administrado y mantenido.

Mi esposa y yo decidimos salir a comer para un asado dominical el domingo pasado, así que optamos por The Raglan, en la entrada conocimos a Biannca, que era encantadora y burbujeante, se tomó un tiempo con nosotros para hacer el seguimiento y rastreo ya que mi teléfono estaba teniendo problemas, ella Nos encontró un lugar agradable para sentarnos y nos contó sobre la aplicación de pedido y pago, pero debido a que mi teléfono no funcionaba, nos dijo que su colega vendría con nosotros. El chico asiático sikandar se acercó a nosotros inmediatamente, notamos un contraste completo en el servicio al cliente, la forma en que tomó nuestro pedido fue completamente apresurado y terrible, ya que pudimos ver que no quería tomarlo. Esperamos casi 20 minutos por nuestras bebidas, le habíamos pedido a sikandar nuestras bebidas 4 veces, cada vez que le preguntamos, nos dijo que estaba ocupado, ¿pueden esperar 5 minutos? Tengo cosas que hacer, no estaba ocupado en absoluto y pudimos verlo. deambulando en la pequeña habitación con pequeños papeles en la mano rascándose la cabeza luciendo completamente perdido. Queríamos ir a Biannca pero cada vez la veíamos sirviendo a otra persona. Al final, le pedimos un reembolso a Sikandar y comenzó a gritar que no es mi culpa, solo espera, solo ten paciencia. así que respondimos que habíamos sido lo suficientemente pacientes, que solo queríamos irnos a casa ahora, entonces él dijo que prepararía las bebidas, nos negamos nuevamente en este punto y preguntamos por el gerente. Biannca vino y nos dio nuestro reembolso y preguntó cuál era el problema, se disculpó en nombre de sikandars, pudimos ver que estaba bastante avergonzada, le prometimos que volveríamos sobre la base de que sikandar no nos sirve en absoluto. Well, the rules have changed again for pubs and the Lord Raglan has adapted very well. I’m here having a few drinks with a friend and the staff are doing a great job. I’ve watched them ensure customers are wearing masks as they move around the pub and on entry, challenging large groups to maintain social distancing and finally, providing a great service. It’s a weird world at the moment, but this team are doing their best to keep us safe. Whilst they are all doing a great job, a special mention needs to go to Donna who seems to be everywhere!! Well done Lord Raglan, keep up the great work during these challenging times, obviously I’ll be back..

Great friendly pub with polite staff, very good food and TVs all around for sports and with bar games and pool tables up stairs

The Lord Raglan is a large pub that is lovely and clean. Invariably greeted with friendly smiles by everyone behind the bar, the atmosphere is welcoming, and service is great. I often pop in here on my lunch break with colleagues and find my food is consistently served hot, tasty and within good time. Even during the current climate, everything has been kept to a high standard and visiting still feels simple and easy - this place is always a pleasure.

Popped in last night as staying local with work colleagues. Decided to take advantage of the eat out to help out 50% off. Bar was clean and tidy and the staff and service were excellent under current climates. Food was served quick and to a high standard. Drinks service was great. I think a bar tender called Moody looked after us and was excellent. Great value and top service. Will be back next month with again.
