We were lucky enough to get a table on a Friday night in this small restaurant. The meal we had was truly memorable. The tomato bruschetta was stunning. Simple, beautiful ingredients. I had scoglio. I can not remember the last time I had such perfectly cooked seafood with beautiful spaghetti nero. My husband said his salmon main course was delightful. Tiramasu and a panacotta tart to finish. The food comes slowly because the kitchen is tiny. Makes it all the more worth waiting for. Stunning. And, not expensive for the quality of food, wine and service.

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor; it was within walking distance from our hotel. The meal was just outstanding; from appetizer to main course and then desert. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling to Edinburgh.

You cannot get this quality pasta elsewhere, ingredients complimenting perfection to a science, no frills Italian best served divinely in Edinburgh. Try one, try it all, but know you will return to try some more, BRAVO to chef and owner J for bar none to others delivery!

We were recommended to Radici yesterday evening and were lucky enough to get a reservation as it’s only a few tables. Can’t say how lucky we were as it was by far the best meal we had in Scotland, even though we have had a few very good meals. The food was not only beautifully presented but out of this world, with delicate flavors and mouth watering goodness. The owners were welcoming and gracious and also very forthcoming about the preparation. The wine was also lovely, and finishing it of with the Tiramisu, capped the meal off beautifully. We loved it so much that we returned tonight for a second try and couldn’t be happier. I cannot recomend it more highly, wish we could have it at home. If you can visit I wouldn’t hesitate. Definitely a 5 star meal.

Visiting Edinburgh at the end of June we discovered this amazing little Italian restaurant in the Stockbridge area (15 minute walk from New Town area). The owner, from Umbria, was very personable and attentive. Service reflected his attention to providing an outstanding meal. He accommodated my wife with a vegetarian mushroom and truffle oil pasta and my sister in law with a gluten free seafood pasta. The males had a superb squid ink seafood pasta. A simple but good wine list. This was probably the best meal we had on Scotland.

Only a small restaurant, so booking recommended. We had a delicious evening meal here that was cooked to perfection. I wouldn’t normally rave about soup but the layers of flavour in the sweet pepper soup were just delicious. We had different mains and desserts and couldn’t do anything but praise the quality of the food-sublime. Good choice of wines. Staff were very helpful and ensured a great atmosphere.

We were there a week ago as a party of 4 with 2 vegans. I was sceptical about it but it was a delightful surprise. The food was excellent with great professional classy waiters. The atmosphere was just right for a really good Italian restaurant. What a difference from the ordinary restaurants in the city centre. Reminds me of the classy restaurants we used to have in Edinburgh and a true cut above those that still exists and think they are. Well done and I hope they survive as I will definitely be back.

I got lucky and just stumbled on this great restaurant. It’s small. 8 tables maybe. It’s got a farm to table feel and really delicious food. Sorry vegetarians. Don’t hate me.
