Friendly local pub. Don't think food is served now, shame food was decent.

Was here for a party. Good sized dance floor. Bar staff were fab. Great night had by all.

Nice place for a game weekend, multiple screens showing different matches and poker table available for those who know how. Beautiful sit set-up, ideal for family or just by yourself.

Nice place to chill and have a pint in the evening after a long day at work. Price and service are both great.

Fantastic place to hold a function

The don't serve food now, however when they did it was pretty good.

Decent local pub, no ales, but Guinness is ok. Bar can be a bit mad when busy, not a bad thing but lounge can be better for a quiet pint sometimes.

Was there for a private function but the staff were all friendly and wet up the suite nicely. Drink prices were pretty reasonable.

it is written that they are open until 24, but yesterday we came at 23, took some coctails and wanted to buy more,but at 23:15 the barman said that the bar is closed, although there were a lot of people

Was at a function in the "white heather" suite. Professional friendly staff, scrupulously clean with great atmosphere. Fantastic fresh and plentiful buffet. Prices for drinks excellent. Thank you for a great night.

Before the pandemic my husband and I regularly went for Sunday lunch here. Nothing more fun than attempting a crossword along with delicious food and a pint.

Good pints of Carling and decent prices for Edinburgh - £3.70 per pint. Good measures in place in relation to current guidelines.

Nice big public bar downstairs with a good pool table, upstairs caters for functions and meals, added to the mix are courteous and helpful staff members... great night.

Quite expensive for location prices in suite were radically different from downstairs yeah ''more expensive'' although the staff were great I feel financially bludgeoned!

Very disappointed. As regular diners we came in this evening for a meal, only to be told that they would not be serving us food as they have had a large order (not from regulars). We will not be back. Avoid at all costs.

Husband & I popped in for food as we had a BLACK XMAS ENVELOPE 😋 We both order the Haddock & scampi dish; huge portions and was delish. Bonus!!! we received 25% off...due to the envelope. The male bar person was smiley, chatty & friendly which added to the experience. We will be back!

Great food,lovely environment. Well presented ,clean & tidy.just a pity theres no wheelchair access or lift(for upstairs) or ramp for bar/lounge.I often see a scooter sitting outside which is not an ideal place to leave it.

Leigh was the perfect bar person. Pleasant, polite and full of banter. The beer was chilled and the atmosphere was warm.

This was my first time in here . I have to say that a male bartender was fantastic very helpful and really friendly he has a great personality. We had a buffet as well which was very good. They also do food which looked very good. I will go back again

Good value local pub with food and pleasant staff. Wine on offer at just under £11 a bottle. The lounge bar a little airless and warm on a humid day. It would be good if windows could open, although there is a beer garden for drinking outside when the weather is OK.

No sé qué más abajo los comentarios son sobre. Nos encaminamos hacia como nos alojábamos cerca por un par de noches y parecía que nuestro local. Fuimos, una gran selección de cervezas locales y licores. Hice mi camino bien a través de algunas de las ginebras con la ayuda de la encantadora camarera. La comida estaba deliciosa, comimos dos veces y las dos veces fueron comidas muy satisfactorio! Todo el personal es amable y dispuesto a atender cualquier necesidad. No sirven cenas hasta 5, y nos ofreció a tomar algo antes si teníamos hambre, pero nos alegramos de esperar. Incluso los clientes habituales son amables, que vuelve más y tener un poco de charla. gracias

Si quieres el paquete de funciones, entonces no te molestes. Muy caro. El salón puede ser gratis, pero la discoteca tiene un precio de 160. Tienes que llevar allí buffet a las 6. 00 por persona adelante. Estarías mejor en tus clubes locales que son mucho más baratos. Además, no hay acceso para sillas de ruedas. En cuanto al bar. Demasiados idiotas en el bar. Aparta a la gente. Mantente alejado jajaja.

No puedo criticar al personal del bar, pero el comportamiento de los propietarios es terrible. Este bar es solo para locales, ¡si no eres un local, no te molestes! Acabo de mudarme a la zona y fui por unos pocos, fui hostigado por un lugareño y el dueño nos echó a reclamar que no sabíamos quién era ella o quién conocía, que nos encantaron las amenazas de ídolos de un llamado pub '. propietario 'no volverá! ¡Visítelo y verá que NO debe llevar un negocio!

Walked over from the Capital Hotel and asked if the kitchen was open. The guy in the dining room said yes and then disappeared. Two older guys at the bar left, leaving us and a table of two ladies. We saw 3 people behind the bar...but after waiting 10 minutes with zero acknowledgment, we left. So, service was really bad. No idea about the food!

Good menu which also caters for small eaters with a good lite bite range. Must tries are the steak pie, fish or my favourite chicken and chorizo with sweet potatoes- I dare you not to enjoy it. Drinks are also well priced.

Asistió como una familia en octubre para celebrar mi cumpleaños. La comida era deliciosa y muy buena relación calidad-precio, con el dos por 12 libras el desayuno durante todo el día fue un éxito enorme con los hombres folk y las papas jajaja camote son deliciosas. Gracias por una cena definitivamente volveré.

The atmosphere is great in here; there are lots of regular visitors to this pub & most of its occupants are local. They have live music, quiz nights, karaoke nights and they have amazing food; above average when it comes to bar food but great all the same. They also deliver meals to your home now which makes this place more than great!! its 12/10 from me.

Je critique rarement les restos mais là y a de quoi.Pour les excuser il y avait un mariage en même temps donc peut être que le cuistot avait du mal à suivre mais j'ai un doute.J'ai pris des macaronis qui étaient fade et peu nombreuses.....Ma femme a pris un hamburger (oui les rôles étaient inversés car je courrais un marathon le lendemain), le steak etait dur comme une semelle. Le pain sortait du congélateur...Je donnerais bien le bénéfice du doute et dirais qu'il faudrait y retourner pour etre sur mais ce sera sans moi !!!Service un peu long (mariage à côté pour rappel) mais sympathique.Je déconseille fortement
