The restaurant, which once hosted a scene from the movie The Gentleman, invites all gourmets with its captivating atmosphere and refined British cuisine. Each and every employee provided excellent expertise and attention in their field, for which special thanks are due. All in all, The Princess Victoria is a real gem among places in London, where in addition to the perfect harmony of flavors and environment, the staff also meets all expectations. Super amazing staff that make you feel really taken care of. I had a mixup with my booking to stay there and Esme (I think her name was?) was soooo helpful and sweet in making me feel welcome and cared for and resolved my issue. Great food too. Really well run spot and people who run it. Thank you!

Great place to have a few beers and some food with friends. The food is very good quality and the building itself is a fantastic open plan space with lots of room.

Busy on Sundays, make a reservation. Kitchen opens at 12 noon. There are two vegan Sunday meals - a Wellington roast and ravioli, both really good. The roast was excellent, with lots of vegetables and a good gravy. I liked the beetroot/sweet-potato ravioli also. Several other vegan items on the menu: pizzas (vegan cheese available), burger (a very meat-like one, served with fries), flatbread, portobello mushroom starter. No non-alcoholic wines available. 12.5% service charge is added to bills. Pizzas available Tue-Wed 5-10 pm, Thu-Sat 12-10 pm, Sun 12-5.

We visited this restaurant as lovers of the movie The Gentlemen (which was filmed here) The premises are beautiful! Exactly as we imagined. The scotch egg appetizer could not be faulted!! Excellent. As for the main meal, the Burger was already weak. The meat dried out and the burger overall weak. But the steak was excellent and perfectly prepared. The service could also be a little more friendly. But overall impressions are rather positive 😊

Good value for money. It would be nice if a separate setting of cutlery was laid out when having starters. No sign of a dessert menu when we dined there which seems odd.

I will always come to this place because all in all it is a good neighbourhood pub . However, looking around this pub and its guests , we’re all middle aged and + and we have dogs and kids and we bring family here. We come to talk to each other and have valuable time together. So why the loud music ? Why have it so loud that we have to shout across the tables ? I don’t believe the music is for us guests but more for the staff behind the bar. It just doesn’t make sense. And let’s talk about the staff. They’re nice enough but could be more welcoming . Last time I was there we ordered three negronis . Three glasses were put on the counter and I had time to go to the loo and come back to still find three empty glasses on the counter . Not a big deal but crikey , not the swiftest of bartenders . I’ve come to the PV since it first got renovated and opened to the public many years ago. The standards on everything were very high back then. Since then it’s passed hands and probably quite a few chefs too . Standards have gone up and down over the years. The pizza is quite good and my daughter loves the scotch eggs . The food is ok. This place is full of memories for my friends and neighbours and myself . We marry and celebrate birthdays here. This pub means something to us . I want to see it thrive so we can have many more memories made in this beautiful place .

Delighted by the service provided by Princess Victoria staff, who hosted our work Christmas dinner for ~25 people last week. Organisation and communication with events manager beforehand was excellent, and staff on the night dealt admirably with last-minute changes and our noisy bustle. Great food, attentive service and lovely décor.

We are long term & regular customers of The Princess Victoria, frequently popping in here for a Sunday roast. I have always enjoyed their vegetarian roasts, that is until this Sunday. What a disappointment 😞. My meal was literally half the size of my partner who ordered the beef but cost almost the same. For some reason they decided that vegetarian customers were not to get the roasted vegetables or roasted potatoes or Yorkshire pudding. Just the vegetable wellington, a small amount of cabbage and mashed potatoes. It was miserable. I had to spend an extra £7 for a side dish to fill me up. So I paid more and got less. Given that vegetables are cheaper than meat, this seems unjustified. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't be returning here again.

No atmosphere and charmless waiter. Not quite the Christmas spirit we came for.

I have to say service, welcome and food was average. Great decor but overall a bit of a let down/underwhelming. I love a beef roast rather on the medium rare / pink side and had specifically asked for it but it arrived more medium. Veggies were average. Also arrived “way too quickly”, had to be alrea du fully prepared and plated beforehand which somehow takes a little bit away from the experience. My friend had the pork belly Sunday roast which was ok but very fatty.

Try the specials! They're always excellent. Real suet pies and not "a stew with a pastry hat" to be seen in sight!

Nice PUB, good for QPR game. Pre Booked well in advance, asked to confirm shortly before. Got the Pub as planned, table for three, which unfortunately became table for five but the Princess didn't have a Problem with it. Food excellent, reasonably priced, Drinks wide variety. 0.3 of a mile from Lotus Road.

Hands down the best pie I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve eaten a LOT of pies! Compared to Holborn Pie Room (which is supposed to be one of THE places to get a good pie in London) this was so much better. I’m sure the rest of the food is just as good. Pub is also fantastic, big and open, with great artwork on the walls.

Great pub with really good service, Scotch egg great, Calamari great Sunday roast was great appart from the roast potatoes which had not been par boiled before roasting so more cardboard texture than crispy. This was the only thing that let the meal down everything else was 5 stars. I will definitely have a roast here again and will upgrade my review to 5 stars if they have sorted the roast potatoe situation out as they are a integral part of a roast.

Was really surprised, was staying over, arrived late as a pub quiz was finishing but was still served food. No breakfast offer though.

I love this place in a beautiful old building. Here delicious food is cooked and served by waiters. But a very loud presenter loudly asked questions into the microphone and interfered with talking. It spoiled our atmosphere that we thought about when we went here for dinner.

The pub is well decorated and the food we could eat was nice. Most of the staff were really polite and very helpful, unfortunately one member of staff has let this rating down. We ordered the burrata along with other food, when we cut into this it was hard and we even tried it and it tasted sour - nothing like what a burrata should taste like. We let someone know and they took it away with no fuss. We were then told by a guy who I assume was the duty manager that was the last burrata and did we want something else, fine. We were still deciding when he came over again and all we said was that we were still making a decision. Unprovoked, he then starts to tell us how that was the last one and it was not expired so there was nothing wrong with it. We told him to taste it and then see if he felt the same way, according to him, both him and the chef tasted it and it was absolutely fine. At this point me and my friend are both astonished that this has even become a conversation. Burrata is commonly known as a soft cheese, this was hard to cut into. Regardless of expiry date, this clearly wasn't right. Regardless of how you feel about a customer's complaint, I'm not sure what trying to argue about it with us was trying to accomplish. He then quickly said we wouldn't be charged for it (like that was some sort of gesture of goodwill) and walked off.

Brilliant pub. We celebrated a 30th birthday here in their function room. Only had to meet a minimum bar tab which was easy with the numbers we had. Highly recommend.

Well located traditional British pub that offer also a good accommodation with possible discounted pub dinner for overnight stayers in London zone 2 Shepard Bush linked to the overground to the city. I found it great even though not cheap but accessible when compared to the many overpriced accommodations in London with much less comfort.

Excellent vegetarian Sunday lunch

Booked a double room and it was tiny! Make sure you don't get the Bramble room unless you're on your own! Bed against the wall which is not ideal for 2 adults. Nice staff in bar downstairs.

Stayed here over the weekend, the fridge didn't work, shower screen was filthy. Then had to put up with music blaring from the function room below until midnight. I would avoid booking a room here if you attend staying over the weekend.

Although could be fried for another 10-15 secs to be perfect - Lamb cutlets: generous portion, well seasoned & cooked. Mint sauce was slightly too weak, so slightly bland. Also the lamb cutlet had too much bone. - mango cheesecake: not too sweet. Quite bland & simple. So nothing special

Organised a baby shower in the 1829 room upstairs for 40 people. The experience was excellent. Manager was accommodating. Food was amazing especially the pizza and the kebabs. The room had a/c which was much appreciated on a hot day. We were able to get our decorations and cake free of charge and move the furniture around the room. The room has its own toilets upstairs which was convenient. The pub itself is really nice, lots of room and great selection of drinks. Only criticism is the barman upstairs could have been more attentive as people kept on waiting for him to return back to the bar. Will return again.

Although I generally really enjoy this pub, I think the standards are hugely variable based on when you visit. The nut roast we had today was more like a Ratatouille with some nuts sprinkled on top and the potatoes were clearly microwaved. Much rather it be off the menu if it’s not up to standard

The environment is beautiful, big, well decorated and clean. When I went they were having a 20th birthday menu, so starter, main and puddings were going for 20 pounds per person. I thought it was fair for the taste.

I like this pub, so wish I could rate it higher. But we've been multiple times and there has always been an issue with getting our food on time. Last time we went our kids were given their food 45mins before we were. Far from ideal when you've wanted to enjoy a family meal.

This was ideal for a night's stay, walking distance to 02 Empire in Shepherds Bush. Clean accommodation, though unfortunate smell of urine in bathroom, but no smell in bedroom. Friendly staff and food good in pub. Would recommend, as good value for a stay in London.

If you’re gonna have a scotch egg, you’ve got to have it here. Coronation mayo was amazing. Seems quieter during the day

Always a great pub to visit with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Amazing selection of gins and reasonably priced overall. Good selection of food. Make sure you book in advance for the pub quiz for a table!

Great food and drink, the rooms are brilliant too. Stayed twice now for Wembley games, may not be the closest but great value.

Very much enjoyed our Sunday lunch here. They dealt well with the pizza and toast options and the service was super friendly on a day when they had one big group in which can be stressful. My pork belly was well cooked and the gravy excellent. The crackling could have been slightly more crackly but better than I ever manage at home.

We visit quite often and the service is the best, always friendly. Great food, great beer options and all guests we bring with us always compliment how wonderful the place is and how outstanding is the food! Besides that the pub is always organising events and there are many interesting weekly offers, do book in advance to guarantee your spot!

I called in last week to book the venue/room for a wedding party. I was told that there was nobody to do the room booking as they were on holiday and to send an email. I then sent the email and they promptly replied to say the room was available and to just pay the deposit. I called in again to pay the deposit and the room had been given to someone else within 24 hours. This venue came highly recommended from several friends who used the room for birthday parties for themselves or children. Will be sure to update them on our experience. I had a special family lunch here for 15 people, including one in a wheelchair and booked it about a month in advance. The staff I dealt with were all brilliant throughout the whole process, explaining the wheelchair access and the available menus. I was anxious on the day, but I needn't have been. The staff continued to be helpful and efficient. There was great food, pleasing to all the pick palates young and old and the service was swift and friendly. Thank you all so much!

Went for Christmas Dinner. Whilst the pub and service were great, the food was subpar. One of the worst meals I have had out in a very long time. Very cheaply done for a very expensive price. Although the day was nice, the food caused mass disappointment.

Okish Ordered mains along with starter, which was a mistake as the main dish,roast beef wasn't overly hot, so lead me to believe it had been left standing .The cheese board hadn't been out for awhile, as the cheeses tasted stale,and the fig jam turned out to be " mixed berries"

Lovely room - sadly that was the best thing about it. Lacklustre service and tepid unpleasant food. Very disappointing.

I used to love visiting this pub, but the quality and service has taken a nose dive. Roast beef was paper thin, tough with fat and inedible. No effort made by staff and felt like they were just churning tables. Appreciate the hospitality industry is under pressure at the moment but it was a total disappointment.

We came in for food a few times already and always enjoyed it. Staff is friendly and the food is also really nice. Pizza and fried squid are a must try!

Brilliant pub, beautiful decor inside, nice and bright, great food and excellent service. We all had a delicious sirloin steak, brownie dessert was fresh and scrumptious. Found it by chance and would definitely go back.

Fabulous lunch party for 42 people right in the middle of the Xmas rush on 17th Dec. Dan, Arta and the team were great in person prior to the event and also on the day were efficient and flexible. The food was good and the room looked great. I would have given 5 stars to them but lost a star because the online experience of booking and selecting food was clumsy and there was no online help. I got very stressed doing the ordering - I now know how to do it! Would definitely book again for large group.

Quality of food has dropped recently and when trying to bring this to the attention of the manager, they chose to be ignorant and just look disinterested with hands folded over. Me and my friends have been coming to this pub for a while so we know what to expect and what we experienced this afternoon wasn't it.

Location: 10 Food: -2 Wine: 1 Terrible food and wine. Seems like they’ve invested all their capital on decor (which was lovely!) and forgot to spend on good quality food and drink. Service was shabby too. Don’t recommend. Unless you bring your own food and drinks and just enjoy the decor!

A great local pub. The pizza take away is a great deal and nice to have a quick half while you wait. Staff are lovely as well.

Restaurant was excellent staff superb and good scoff...they get 5 stars....bar staff? 1....stood at the bar waiting to order....was ignored in favour of a customer that came to the bar after us to our left....then seconds later the same happened when someone stood to our right. I grew up a publicans son....staff should be aware of who is next to be served. Probably would have helped if we had QPR shirts on....like they did. If you are not a regular my advice is to not go in on match days... for a drink anyway !!

Fan du film dans lequel le pub a servit de décor, sa visite faisait partie de notre to do list. Nous avons passés un super moment avec une équipe très sympathique et attentionnée. La salle est spacieuse avec des tables dispersées un peu partout ce qui est agréable pour déjeuner en toute tranquillité. La nourriture était bonne et les prix raisonnables. A refaire sans hésiter.

Fabulous gastropub as featured on one of Anthony Bourdain's TV series and only 10 mins from me!

The food was good but the service was really slow. We had to wait 15 mins before our orders were taken (it wasn't even crowded) and the food arrived 40 mins after that. They forgot my drink too.

The food is really amazing and tasteful, the staff and services are also amazing.

After watching the great man Bourdain eat scotch eggs with Nigella Lawson in this pub I thought, stuff it. I’m travelling from Melbourne to try it. Deeeeeeelicious. Gorgeous old school pub.

Had pizzas take away . Very good one and at very good price. Go there it's a cool place.
