Best carvery meal my friend and I have ever experienced. We often go to different Toby's. Beef just melted in your mouth, other meats were lovely. Rest of the food was also lovely. Can't wait to return

Had £10 off for my birthday there was a unhappy customer telling the manager the food was awful. I thought at first it was a bit harsh then soon relised the customer was right the meal was awful if I hadnt of paid first I would of said it was awful the food had been there all day. The toilets are dangerous covered in water like there is a leak. The car park is dangerous holes everywhere . The place is in a dire state of disrepair it needs either refurb or closing its put me off toby carvies for life absolutely awful food !I left my vegi meal outside for birds to eat as it was burnt !

Went to this Tobby Carvery today, and it was absolutely awful experience the meat selection was good but the rest of the carvery was very poor roast potatoes where burnt, the cheese pasta shell where completely dry and was all stuck to the dish, the stuffing so dry it was hard to digest, and the Yorkshire puddings dripping in oil, how this food can be presented in this way is unbelievable

Stopped in for a quick carvery after a day at the pleasure beach. Excellent service from both management and staff. Really lovely team and great food. Brilliant visit.

We came for a Sunday lunch, the service was great, we had a family member with disability issues and our server was brilliant he looked after us totally. The food in general was good, the only issues we had were that I wanted Lamb and by the time I got served it was the end of the lamb joint, instead of being offered a new joint I was given the dreg ends, really not good. One of our party had a vegetarian option and when he was told it was ready for collection it was cold. We will visit again but hopefully things will have improved

Friendly staff except for one who absolutely didn't want to be there. Food was great, good value.

Just checked out of our caravan in Martin mere and thought we would try Toby carvery for breakfast as it was so close. Awkward when we arrived the man said how many? my partner said three of us thinking the man meant for seating, we were charged for three breakfasts when my toddler does not eat breakfast but did not know any different because we weren’t to know any prices the plate’s absolutely stunk of dirty dishwater people in front of us had also commented on the smelly plates, there was no breakfast stuff out and had a long wait! when my partner asked for a cup the man was incredibly rude asking if we had paid and spoke to him so discussing we thought the coffee/tea might of been included so was only enquiring would of happily paid extra for a tea/coffee but as the man was so rude didn’t want to give him any more money, I mentioned we had actually paid for another breakfast that my daughter was not actually eating and he spoke to me terrible too saying I should of said when we arrived, as I explained that he asked how many of us was there, he completely disregarded me turned away and carried on doing something else. The man was then was laughing about us with another customer and I heard him saying where we were from! He stood at the bar and kept giving us sly looks whilst eating. Breakfast was cooked ok but did but me off with the smelly plates table was dirty on arrival and place was very run down, definitely would not go back there or recommend to anyone make us feel so discriminated against and was such an awful experience! I have added a picture of the awful man waiter who treated us so poorly!

Carvery was dried up not much left fresh Ciabatta was French bread with cheese on NOT ciabatta as menu states and tasteless Wasn’t offered limitless drinks so paid over the odds for a 3.30ml bottle of coke The food wasn’t great at all clearly been sat there meat was dry not good at all

Staff were rushed off their feet but did everything we requested without delay. Food was the usual toby quality. The pub atmosphere was great, everyone seemed relaxed.

Had our wedding reception there today, the staff were amazing as always and bent over backwards to make sure we and our guests had a great afternoon/evening. Food was delicious!! Massive thankyou to Shaun for arranging everything and setting up for us, we couldn't have done it without you, very much appreciated! The Pendragons will be back 💜

Firstly I have to thank Shaun and all the staff at Toby Carvery Blackpool as they in our opinion went over and above to make our wedding reception and absolute success. Our guests agree the food was amazing , the staff and service was great and should be used to set examples of how you attend to your customers. It was a BIG suprise to see roasted lamb on our special day as usually that's a Sunday menu item on the Carvery. What a treat! #Customer4Life

The Yorkshire pudding is ginormous and I highly recommend the chocolate heaven Sunday and very cheap and delicious

Karen’s diner meets faulty towers. Service and attitudes were so bad I was expecting Ant and Dec to jump out and any time! Asked the chef if any more lamb and he said ‘don’t know, that’s not my job’!! Then found out there was no gravy so asked the chef and the reply was ‘I’m too busy, ask someone else’. Asked a girl behind the bar who just rolled her eyes and told me to wait. I tried to pay the bill and was told they are too busy, ask someone else! They are lucky I did find someone else and didn’t just walk out! Other tables around all moaning amongst each other about the service and attitude.

The service was brilliant. The server was fabulous - think he was the manger actually. Great food, friendly atmosphere and it was super clean.

OK had to paid Sunday price because it was Good Friday but it was tasty Carvery

Went here for dinner on last night of holiday,place was busy but staff worked hard.meal was good as was the dessert

On arriving Bank Holiday Monday for breakfast a sign on the door informed us we would be charged weekend prices and not usual Monday prices, so we entered & paid for the buffet. I was disappointed to find no potato hash (one of my favourites) or yorkshire puddings & gravy. My plate was depleted as I don't eat toast, beans, toms or fried eggs with just bacon sausage and mushrooms on the plate. On returning for a refill I enquired of the chef where were the missing items to be told a chef hadn't turned up so he didn't have time to do them. Why did they not add this to the sign on the door. On leaving I spoke to the Manager of items not available who informed me they had just run out & chef was refilling!! I explained I hadn't just arrived but had eaten breakfast & the items weren't available - please don't lie to me. We are paying extra for BH service when staff aren't here cooking the items on the menu. Paying more for less - won't be returning.

Had heard a few bad things about this Toby but was pleasantly surprised!

Very slow service. Took 25 minutes for some soup, Then said they gave extra bread and butter for the wait. Not going again.

Went here couple of weeks ago definitely won’t recommend the carvery food was rank carrots all dried up the meat was dry was very disappointed we payed and then we forgot to get kids ice creams so went to ask we was told coz we payed they cancelled our account was pretty disappointed tbh so won’t be returning 😏

When we went to get carvery the roast potatoes were very hard and stale , I waiting for more veg to come out but when the server came back he said they had ran out of cabbage an parsnips altoghter has had been very busy that day, they are my favourite veg and I was very unhappy as I know it would have been bust with it been easter Sunday but yous should have made sure there was enough veg to last, my meat was very fatty too beef and pork I had. Our table was booked for 2 adults and 2 children but there was only 3 chairs and 1 baby high chair , my youngest child is nearly 6 and was too big for the high chair I requested for an extra chair but they said there wasn't any spare

We went here for my wife's 40th and we had a great time. Sat at table 61, we were served by Paige all night and she was excellent. Really made it night special and made everything for brilliantly. Food was excellent and the night went great. Would recommend visiting here if you're in the area.

Booked for late mother's day..told busy and left us waiting, wasn't busy!staff not really hospitable. No one smiled. Paid same as 4 meat menu tho lamb we was told was wait HR plus to be out..drinks refillable which bumped up the bill too..veg cold and dry, tasteless..potatoes looked burnt, None looked apertizing, meat server more often in back than out serving and no pleasantries. Love carvery normally but I wouldn't go back here..

This is possibly the slowest toby in the country it took over 30 minutes to carve 10 people's plates people in the queue arguing how slow it was kids complaining their starving atmosphere was poor because everyone is angry . And to too it off 2 meats down kept saying their cooking it isn't hard to have enough poor kitchen in general

If you like a carvery it's great plenty of room available good car parking space great vibes

Sorry our visit was very poor , had no pork or beef and stuffing was cold and hard,vegetables were cold over cooked and all the sauces were empty had to ask but service was slow even though it was very quiet

It was your standard Toby Carvery. Staff were friendly food was okay.

We arrived here with friends at about 6pm last Monday night and asked for a table but we were told that we could not have the carvery as they had run out of meat, they wonder why people are not going out.

Traveled from preston on Wednesday tea time, place wasn't busy but we heard it was fully booked for the evening. Food was nice, even though the carver was slow& on his own. The staff member who served us drinks wasn't friendly at all, infact could hardly hear what she was saying. No warm welcome not even a smile... No-one even asked if everything was OK with the food, asked if we wanted pudding nothing....very poor customer service, no atmosphere in there whatsoever. Wasn't the best experience especially for Toby....we go to the morecambe toby regularly and much better experience. I'm not one to normally write reviews but feel this one is needed for improvement. Unfortunately we won't be returning to this particular site. Sorry...

The staff were amazing. The food was rather disappointing. The vegan pie was revolting. Bring back the mushroom and ale pie. Mash was like slop. Apple pie and vegan custard was amazing.

Decent food, relaxed atmosphere. Worth a visit

Reviews overdue. Been here many times with my 2 labs (not many places allowed dogs). Front staffs Rachael & Adam been really nice working very fast. Adam even change the water for my dogs, thanks you Adam. Rachael have always been superb. Always have clean table as she’s very very keen on hygiene not like sticky tables in many restaurants around here. Kitchen staffs also been very friendly too. Mark & Jason always filling the stations very very quick. Food, start with marmalade, one of the best one tasted in Blackpool. Yorkshire pudding, very very good. Never have experienced a Yorkshire pudding that have onions & bacon in it. Very nice. We love it. Keep up the good work guys and see you soon

We came up for the Blackpool v Portsmouth game and stayed at the Holiday camp across the road. We came in for two breakfasts and a Sunday lunch and the food was amazing and the staff were very attentive. We had our dog Murphy with us so didnt think we'd be allowed in, but he was made very welcome, receiving lots of attention especially from Paige whom he loved. Can't say how welcome this place was for us and we'll be back next time we're here.

We came for mothers day today and the meal was lovely. We come quite often and never have an issue. The staff are friendly and even on busy days like today mange to make sure we were all happy.

Gave 2* instead of 1* because the food was excellent but the service and attentiveness of the staff was incredibly poor. Awkward greeting upon walking in, the 2 ladies said hello and then just left us stood in front of the podium and we had to explain what we wanted to do there. After we visited the carvery deck there was a bizarre altercation that took place between a guest who wanted to use a valid free Gin voucher and the staff member was trying to do all she couldn't within her power to refuse it for the poor guy. It was quite pathetic as the voucher was genuine and in date, plus he was meeting the requirements. Ridiculous and was unnecessary. We were looking at the desserts menu when the plates were removed from the table but didn't get asked and when we tried to raise the attention of staff members we were ignored. We just gave up trying and went to pay because we were left alone for so long. After standing at the card reader we were walked past and blanked, so had to grab a server who then assumed we were psychic and told us we should be paying at the Bar. We then went and paid at the Bar and were nearly overcharged due to a carvery/meat free mix up. Once again, food and the facility were great, but the service and staff were diabolical. Based on the other negative comments the rather immature manager will probably provide some smart reply as a response, I say bring it on, however first of all they should look at their own shortcomings and start getting off their own backside and getting some staff trained up and lead by example.

Where to start...its taken nearly 25 years to come back to blackpool, but I am glad I did!! I have been to the toby carvery ther two nights in a row purely and simply because the food is amazing as was shaun! Super friendly, accommodating people so I cannot recommend here enough. Management please take note and ensure you do your best to keep them! They are ace

Defo 5stars! Staff are fab especially Raychael,Andy and Shaun! Oops not fogetting kitchen staff behind the scenes. Go at least twice a week, Not worth cooking at home, cost more buying it and cooking it! Just a shame I have to drive home!

The food was hot and fresh and at £6:50 for an all you can eat breakfast very much worth the money. Where it falls down is the fact that it’s £2:50 for beverages. So that takes the cost up to £9:00 per meal which works out quite expensive for a family of four.

Very friendly staff was served by Nathan and Martina this evening. The food was excellent and has been every I've been every time,hence why we will be back. Thanks guys xx

Staff friendly pub was nice only down side was the Yorkshire puddings were full of oil in the base. Took a bite and mouth filled with oil. Couldn’t eat and left a horrible taste in mouth putting me off the rest of my food I did tell them who apologised.

Need a gluten free main dish for vegetarians.

I have been coming here for a few years and the food is always amazing. The staff are fabulous at there jobs especially Shaun and Martyna. Every visit to Blackpool is topped off with the best carvery anywhere. Big shout out to the chefs too amazing work.

Went with my parents for a Thursday treat and was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. Obviously, we had the carvery, we got there mid afternoon, it looked like we just missed a bit of a rush, the staff refreshed the veg etc.. I had the pork and beef, both were really tasty the yorkshire puddings are always amazing, same for the roasties and the gravy was just the right consistency, not too thick or thin. It was well worth the visit, there arent any Tobys too near where I live. Thanks guys!

Nothing was great about the visit. Upon arrival a member of staff informed my partner and me that there was a 15 mins delay for the beef joint. As we were 10 to 15 minutes early I accepted this and say down at our allocated table to wait. After approximately 20 mins there was still only Turkey on the servary with little or no veg and no Yorkshire Puddings. After approximately 35 mins I decided enough was enough but as I approached the carvery gallon was being prepared. I asked the chef why there was no need and his reply was to say the least inadequate saying the beef needed a further 15minutes to cook. I opted for the gallon only then to find the,few roast potatoes available were,few and far between and cold. There was also no normal gravy only vegan and no staff about to ask why. I commenced eating my not so nice meal as did my partner who also was very upset. The manager, Rachel I think they called her was spoken to by myself where I started to discuss our disatisfaction. My partner was very emotionally upset as it was her birthday and all the manager stated was that they had been very busy earlier the same day. As I tried to discuss matters further with her she said something but at the same time walked away turning her back on us which also caught,the attention of other diners who agreed with the points I was trying to raise. We ultimately decided to end the evening once we finished our roast despite purchasing refillable soft drinks and then asked at approximately 6.50pm the young waitress who served us asking for an update on the roast beef. The reply was it would be about another half hour before this would be ready. Bearing in mind we had been in the carvery for over an hour when this took place. We asked for the bill and paid a male member of staff behind the bar and again when asked, if we had enjoyed the meal I told him no and the reasons and all he said do you expect us to serve uncooked food in an argumentative manner. My partner and I frequently visit the Toby Carvery at The Angel in Morley, Leeds and would always say we have had excellent value for money and have never been treated in the manner we encountered at your carvery in Blackpool and nor do we expect five star food for the price it costs. I repeat it,was my partners birthday and in a nut shell her evening was absolutely ruined

Brilliant experience. Food was mouth watering perfect. Seasoning and flavouring was spot on. The waiter Shaun was lovely and helped to make the experience top quality plus the Scottish server was lovely and chatty. Thank you both for such great experience and we can't wait to come back.

The staff are amazing and will go that extra mile to accommodate, I have autism and they went above and beyond, especially Rachel and Leon. To Adam the manager shame about the rugby team haha 🤣

This isn't the best Toby carvery. Out of season in Blackpool I would suggest you eat elsewhere as the service and the staffing reeks of disinterest amd the vegetable definitely have been sat there too long.

We visited the establishment on Saturday the 10th of February. The service we received wasn’t the best the lady behind the bar was rude and looked like she didn’t want to be there. The food wasn’t great either was stewed and dry. None of the staff smiled or interacted with us the full visit we were there. We visited a different establishment today and the service we received was fantastic compared to our customers experience at Toby carvery this is now a few times we have visited this chain of restaurants and everytime the service has been terrible I think would suit the company to work on the customer service skills.

Usually go to the lytham toby , someone told us try here never again got ignore for few minutes waiting be asked for table, was cold and awful the veg eat was ok roast beef fatty even chef said to people 😱if id thrown a potato it could have knocked some one out , dreadful noisy never again

Very impressed with the carvery this evening. Never been here before (even though we are local) but so glad we tried it. Nathan greeted & seated us, gave a warm welcome. Waitress took drinks order and explained the process, very pleasant. Food was so tasty. Vegetables cooked perfectly, not overcooked and mush and not hard (other carvery locally offers hard veg). Meat was lovely and tender and chef gave decent portion. Yorkie was huge and had great flavour. We are picky eaters so a recommendation from us means so much more 😂 We will definitely be back. Really enjoyed our meal ❤️ Sorry no photos. Ate it before thinking 😋

Nice place amazing staff very nice food

Jeyes fluid DESPERATELY needed on the wet slimy flagstone path that my walking sticks didn't like. Nearly went over. Door to the Ladies' toilet - scary to look at - CLEAN and paint. Very tight with the meat. Self serving spoons were tatty and greasy - replace and keep clean. And as per usual Toby food at 5pm - luke warm. The cauliflower cheese - hmmm.. try cooking the cauliflower before adding the cheese.. Yorkshire pud was flat and rubbery. Had to pay extra for the pig in blanket - shame.. Staff though were very polite and friendly.

Tiny plates? What are we - KIDS ??? Called for breakfast last week (1st wk of January) only to find at 9.45am that they had tiny child plates - YIKES !!! Also, there was no cheesy/oniony/potato hash available. There wasn't much bread on offer either, so, c'mon Toby, have a word with yourself as an awful lot of places are starting to do similar amounts of food for the same price. The last time we had tiny plates was at your Shropshire Toby in Wellington and we've never been back there !!!

Pulled in by chance for breakfast on New Year's day and found a nice warm pub with good friendly staff. All you could eat breakfast, my only complaint would be the toaster, put it through once it was under toasted, put it through twice it was burnt.

Brilliant service from start to finish. The chef happily cut off the fat from my meat which was a refreshing change. Will definitely be a regular choice when in Blackpool.

All food is lovely, but always Luke warm. Just wish there was a microwave nearby to heat it up. Would come more often if this was possible.

Staff were lovely. On a works Xmas do and half the stuff was not available on the festive menu. Mushroom starter very disappointing, boiled button whole mushrooms just dumped in instant cheese sauce, no pate, no Xmas pudding no ice cream . Was not busy either, it was 4 pm .

Absolutely fantastic! When we arrived we were greeted and lead to our table. The service was amazing. Im on a gluten free diet all the food was checked for gluten and then my vegetables and potatoes were cooked separately to avoid cross contamination. I was also brought freshly washed cutlery again to avoid any cross contamination. The food was really good especially the roast potatoes and the mash. My husband had a couple of the light bites and said they were really good. Thank you for turning what was thought to be a quick pit stop into a lovely meal/experience and definitely left me feeling safe/happy about my food which doesn't happen often when I eat out.

thanks to the team at toby carvery we use this establishment frequently the service we get is secound to none, all the staff are very friendly and polite they make us and our dog daisey very welcome as soon as we walk through the doors on every occasion and the food is great value for money and nice have a great vestive season

Great carvery on Saturday, group of 5, from wrexham, what great servings, staff friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us, carvery chef such a fantastic lad, one of the best experiences I've had at a Toby ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 stars, we will definitely be back again.

The staff are always friendly and can never do enough to help. I am impressed on the training they recieve around assistance dog and disabilities. You set an excellent example of great customer service. 👍

Absolutely disgusting place to order from! If they have no turkey they should make that clear. 1 small tub of gravy for 2 people. No Yorkshire puddings. No mash, just some cauliflower cheese, and barely any potatoes. Beef was all fat. Basically just got a tub of veg all mixed together. For the amount they charge this is ridiculous! Don't waste your money on this joke of a place
