The restaurant is hidden in Argyle Street. We liked the food, the drinks and the service. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

The food, service and atmosphere was just the best dining experience we have had in a long time. Had a December menu at a set price of £32.50 for 3 courses some supplements for a couple of dishes. Had a Nosecco from the alcohol free menu which was lovely - the bread which was offered several times was delicious- pesto or pumpkin seed - the menu choice was excellent and the standard of food and service was amazing. Definitely recommend and definitely will return 😊

We visited on a quiet Thursday afternoon. After a miserable and expensive experience in Paisley restaurant the week before this was just the perfect remedy. Do yourselves a favour and visit this fine establishment. Apologies to the Frankie Boyle lookalike waiter who has obviously been told this far too many times. :}} Thanks for a great meal.

We are on a tour, and while in Glasgow the tour included dinner at this restaurant this evening. Simply put, a wonderful evening. The setting is very nice, the service excellent, and the food and drink were very good. My starter was a ginger infused sweet potato soup with a dash of curry, while my wife's was pork belly with an apricot sauce. Our mains were coli (a delicate white fish) with a bacon/peas/cream sauce for me and a complex risotto for her. Our deserts were a flambeau-like dish for me and caramel dish of some kind for her. Everything was first rate.

Meglio prenotare nelle serate "topiche".

We had a super meal last night, it was a Fathers day gift from our daughters. The staff were so attentive and how the chef managed to prepare such delicious meals in that small kitchen in the window was amazing, the restaurant is quite small and has that old fashioned quaintness about it. We will return some time soon.

What a treat this was. After having enjoyed a nice single malt as aperitif the meals served here are of high quality. From starter to desert it was a true delight. The service was honest and not posh. This is a place to remember.

I went there for lunch and it was only 20 pound. But i can enjoy a Michelin atmosphere and service there. the staff were all dressed in Scottish formal suits and the lunch i could choose 3 courses. The starter and main were not very impressive but the dessert was really worth recommending. I still think the experience there was very nice

Me alegra haberlo hecho.

Service was great, the food was alright - I wouldn't even class it as good - and it was stupidly expensive. The atmosphere was very intimate, do not go if you're aiming for a good time as other patrons seem to frown upon laughter.

Visiting Glasgow for the day, we were lucky to get a last-minute reservation at this fabulous, intimate and nicely appointed restaurant. I had the lemon sole in a tomato, caper and basil butter sauce and my husband had the rib-eye steak wuth creamy mashed potatoes, grilled tomato, blue cheese and chive butter. Both dishes couldn't have been better. If we ever find ourselves in Glasgow again, we will definitely return.

We found Twofatladies via TripAdvisor. The concierge at the Hilton applauded our selection when mentioned. My family and I walked the easy 5 minutes to the restaurant. Upon walking in, we immediately noticed the whit tablecloths, upscale decor and ambiance. The menu is fairly well varied, though a bit on the pricey side (entrees between 18-28 British Pounds), which is the only reason I gave the restaurant a 'Very Good' rating. The service is top notch and we were very fortunate to have an extremely attentive waiter who was very friendly and gregarious. He answered our every question (and there were quite a few) and was very generous with his time. He made us feel very welcome. They have appetizers and vegetables and potatoes comes as sides with the majority of the entrees. The boiled chicken and prawn pasta received very good reviews from my family. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you're staying nearby and are looking for a nice dining experience.

A wonderful dining experience. We went and had the pre theater menu. The only disadvantage is the tight spacing between the seating. The restaurant is tiny and the open kitchen takes up the front area, so you must book early. Their Sticky toffee desert is to die for. One of the best I have eaten.

I was craving a salad instead of a meat starter, so our obliging waiter suggested a polenta+cauliflower creation that wasn't on the menu. The polenta was sweet with currants that offset the root vegetable, with a baked crust--wow! For main courses, my husband tried a fish, a perfectly cooked plaice with a thyme and lemon sauce. I had a chicken breast, not a monster sized, but flavorful and petite, on haggis. Delicious! We loved the baked tiny potatoes and zucchini, too. Then we tried a sticky toffee pudding dessert--sweetness overload. I ordered black coffee which balanced this nicely. The coffee comes with "tablet"--for you non-Scots, this is a vanilla fudge-like square. So we basically had two desserts. Wow.We were at the Twofatladies on Blythewood. Most accomodating place-try it!
