Bistro 150 in South Tyneside

I am tempted not to publish this because the meal was so good and the waiting staff so supportive. Real value for money. Great Food and a reasonable price. A great little treat and it supports the kids. What is not to love. A brilliant meal one of the best I have had with very attentive staff. Brilliant. Well done.

I went to the Bistro 150 today as part of Restaurant Week and it was superb. The service from both the staff and students was excellent. This was accompanied by an exceptional standard of food. Bright futures ahead for these students!

I recently got the Dine in for Two meal. It was thai chicken curry, coriander rice and sesame vegetables for the main and lemon tart for desert. With a bottle of wine it is very reasonably priced at £10. The food was lovely. The thai curry was fragrant and spicy (but not too hot) and the veg cooked to perfection. I was very impressed with the lemon tart, the pastry was lovely and baked beautifully and the filling was lovely and sharp. Great way to end the meal and saves me having to cook on a Friday night. I have eaten at the Bistro at South Tyneside College many times and the quality of the food has always been high and at such affordable prices, I would recommend it to anyone.
