No9 in South Tyneside

Massive portions, great value for money, lovely ambiance and food. The service was great too. We got two gyros and two burgers- both dishes were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

We went to No9 family restaurant for a Greek inspired evening. The occasion was a family member’s birthday who was also celebrating retirement. We had a brilliant evening the staff were very attentive and experienced. It was immediately apparent when we arrived it was a family run restaurant by the warm reception we received from the owner. I have traveled a lot around the Greek islands many years ago now however it brought back many memories of how friendly and family oriented Greek families are . The food was amazing we were brought so many delicious dishes to experience we grazed all evening. Exceptional value for money . To conclude if like me you enjoy good food and good company your on to a winner. I will definitely be returning to this hidden gem .

Wanted something other than fish and chips and found this little gem. Popped in for lunch, it was busy but they found us a table. My wife had 2 starters and I had a Halloumi Gyro. The gyro was as good as it gets and was a large portion, I finished the whole thing and felt it was great value for money. My wife had the hummus and the Kolokithakia which was again plenty of food, very nice and a perfect lunch option for a vegan. The service was faultless and attentive and we felt lucky to have found the place.

Really nice restaurant. The food was fantastic, helpings very large. You will not leave this restaurant hungry. Staff very friendly and efficient.

We had our wedding and reception on 20th August. We live in Barnsley but moved temporarily to skegness so we could have our family come to a fantastic venue. The owners and staff are sooooo friendly nothing was too much for them. We had 50 guests there the layout of the outside was beautiful we saw it for the first time when we arrived. The greek/english buffet was delivered continually to all tables. The live singer lance cole was great. Everyone who attened were amazed at the venue, the amazing food, the staff politeness. Even if we had a budget of £50k i would not have changed a thing. 50 very happy satisfied guests and one extremely happily married couple who can not say thank you enough to everyone at the restaurant. We would not change a thing and you were all amazing so thank you. Glad we drank you dry of San Miguel lol.

Based on many previous experiences at this restaurant and all the positives that accompany this, I decided to request a “ gift voucher” for my daughter and son in law. I knew a wedding anniversary celebration would not disappoint at this venue because of the “ rave” reviews they had informed me of in the past. A telephone request was made but unfortunately the proprietor was on a day off….he acknowledged, took my details and promised to call back. True to his word, he responded the following day…not only that….in order to save a trip to Skegness he personally hand delivered the voucher to me in Burgh to save the journey. It doesn’t get better than that!! and I know once again a superb meal will be waiting for them at “ Number 9”.

Lovely place, we did book. However, when we arrived, they couldn't find the booking, it was very busy but they did find a table for us. Lovely food and great service, would definitely recommend it

Absolutely amazing food! Totally attentive staff, advised us a large party had ordered before us so we might have to wait, did not mind at all as they kept us advised all the way, in the end it wasn’t a long way at all! Lovely secret garden at the back. We we’re in Skegness for work and they totally made our weekend, thank you, next time we’re here we will be back!

First time going here and would 100% recommend - went with my fiancé and 1 year old and was very welcome for an evening meal (even the high chairs are more comfortable and not just the usual wooden ones you usually find). The food was incredible (the prawn and muscles starter was one of the best starters I’ve ever had) - all the food was very tasty though and we even had a couple of cocktails which were really nice!.

Found this place via a Facebook recommendation for someone else and it doesn’t disappoint. Having parents in Cyprus for 25 years we love their food and this is a little bit of Cyprus/Greece right here in Skegness. The restaurant itself is small but very modern. We’ve had the experience of sitting inside and also outside in one of their heated pods. Cannot fault either one. Now to the food….. absolutely amazing. So tasty and flavoursome. Good portion sizes too. One thing which does need a little attention is the cocktails. Some of them need better quality ingredients and they would be amazing. Other than that this place is fab and highly recommend

Place is nice. Courgette starter good. Mussel and prawn saganaki disappointing: small prawns and two of the mussels unopened in cooking but still served. Souvlaki mains not good: chicken overcooked and dry, pok same and tough. No flavour of any marinading or herbs. Chips and salad really good but will not be going back

As a group of 13 people aged between 13 and 75 went to No. 9 for an evening meal on a Saturday night. Menu was excellent with something for everyone. Service was prompt and efficient. Great food. Good variety of drinks on the bar menu....
