The Royal Albert Hall is an amazing venue, but they need to revise the cost of refreshments.... £17 for a tiny measure of sparkling wine in a very poor quality plastic glass, not really fitting for the venue or occasion. On a short trip to London we wanted to visit the Royal Albert Hall. Instead of spending the money on a tour, we bought the cheapest tickets for a concert. We didn't regret it, even if the seats in the upper tier are quite tight for the legs. It is advisable to take your jackets with you up there, because there is a fresh breeze from the ventilation. BUT: it was absolutely worth it, a fantastic view of the surrounding area and of the choir and half of the orchestra, we could also see the scenes on the screen despite the seats to the side. The staff was also friendly and it's worth going to the different tiers with a view of the hall. An absolute highlight on our London trip. 5 stars for that!

Very few venues in the world rival the artists that perform in them, but this is definitely one. Opened in 1871, the Hall is worth a visit, even if you can't catch a performance there. This was my second time attending a concert there, and both times were extraordinary. Seating in the Hall, which has a history of what has been there before, is a show unto itself. But the sound and circle seating makes for a very personal show. I can't wait until my return!

Glad I finally made it to this beautiful venue, it's gigantic inside! I sat in the very last row & could see everything just fine. A big detraction though is the sky cam constantly whizzing back and forth with the accompanying high pitched squeal. Incredibly distracting, annoying, and disappointing. Maybe not as noticeable during non-classical performances. I was also waiting for big clods of dust to come falling down from the light riggings or off the columns behind rousing. These probably haven't been cleaned in decades. Particularly odd since there are pyrotechnics in these areas. Lastly it seemed odd that the audience was asked to pay £10 for a program if you wanted one. 🤷

I had a guided tour of the Royal Albert hall it was very informative. It was lovely to see the hall when it's empty it seems so much bigger. I didn't realise that it is as big underneath as it is on top. As all the dressing rooms and kitchens are underneath. I didn't realise that you could fit 500 people standing upstairs when you have last night of the proms. It was nice to see the Royal Box of 20 seats that Queen Victoria brought when it opened and the royal retiring room. The seats were £100 to buy when it first opened they are worth £3000 each if you buy a box of 12 chairs now it's worth £250, 000 from Harrods estates. If you have a tour it's about 90 mins then you can visit the shop and cafe and get 20% off if you show your ticket. You can buy a combined ticket with afternoon tea in the restaurant as well which is very nice. The staff are lovely friendly helpful.

Complained and was moved to a better seat but only because one was available. Would have been devastated if I'd have had to remain in existing seat as I travelled 200 miles for the event. Shouldn't be selling restricted view for that price (or maybe even at all!). Drinks and snacks expensive (take your own). Easy to get to on the buses and tube.
