Caffe Nero in Nottingham

Love Nero coffee,but the west bridgford branch now is looking a bit tired and in need of a re furnishings.

Excellent customer service experience in this place. Arsi and Rafal had a very professional beautiful smile that made this place cosy and welcome! The Luxury Caramel latte with extra cream on top of cream was the Heaven on Earth! Brilliant service, wonderful team!

Please make toilets are cleaned.

I always prefer cafe Nero because they give double shot of coffee as opposed to one. it's never to crowded like other coffee shops I know

Love the coffee, staff are always great and quick. The only thing I would say is that downstairs does not have enough seating (can't be helped I know) and having a pram as well makes things a bit awkward so I can't always sit in with a coffee. There is upstairs seating but I can't carry the pram up and the baby change toilet is downstairs anyway.

This quaint Caffè Nero is a nice place to escape the bustle of Old Market Square, but not entirely. When in during a rush, the seating downstairs can unintentionally make you develop close bonds with the strangers around you in a type of ao3 'trapped in the same space and forced to reconcile their differences' kind of way. (there is upstairs seating though!) I had the winter blend this time and a sausage bap (utter scran). The blend is a bit spicy, like a warm blanket surrounded by your mum's air wick winter spice blend reed diffusers. I'd recommend getting the seasonal or special blends they do regardless because for only a small price increase, you're really deepening the flavours you're experiencing!

Peach bellini meringue not delicious but all others are too much good . I'm looking also for cheese coruassant , hope to but in New menu

Love cafe Nero.. food is expensive..the pastries and coffees are excellent though. Staff are helpful they advised me on the best coffee for my needs. Explained the difference between a cortado and a latte and I deferred to the latte yet again! Not that adventurous. My daughter loved her hot chocolate though. Handy for my daughters staying close by. Will be coming back when we return to Nottingham.

We both had a LOVELY cappuccino coffee and had i VERY nice sausage roll. The staff where VERY friendly.👍👌👌

I go here daily for my coffee and the staff take the time to chat and get to know you. The other Nero’s in Nottingham don’t compare. The staff are all grumpy and bearly utter a word to you. If you want good coffee and great service I’d recommend the Wheeler gate location anytime.

Visited this cafe again in Nottingham for my coffee and snack. The manager and staff are so friendly and helpful.

All very good stuff. Nero needs more mushroom-based dishes. At least one café should increase working hours to 9 pm to compete with Costa and Starbucks popularity. Keep raspberry roulade going.

Visited this cafe today, two coffees ordered, nowhere to sit downstairs so carried them upstairs only to find no less than 11 people (probably students) sitting using their laptops with just a drink (that I assume is all they ordered)? Therefore there was virtually no room for ordinary shoppers/visitors to sit☹️. Surely students have libraries etc to study in without the need to virtually take over the top floor of a cafe!!

Bread used to be included in the price of the soup here, but not anymore, and there was no bread available even if paid for separately. The tomato soup is way too acidic without it. One person serving a long line of customers inevitably meant a wait. The only available table upstairs had two full trays of dirty cups and plates. Whole place feels shabby

A nice coffee shop in the immediate vicinity of Old Market Square. I have been there a couple of times with friends and enjoyed being there.

Lovely black forest gateux and chocolate vegan cheesecake. Yum yum.

So I carried my coffee to the table on a tray as I had food too. Spilled it everywhere. So embarrassed. Staff were lovely. Helped me clean up and got me a new coffee. Thank you 💜💜

I have found that with this outlet.the coffee is reliably good.....occasionally I treat myself to one of the tasty cakes this outlet is worthy of a favourable review.

The best Nero in Notts. It’s really quiet and doesn’t get much takeout traffic either. If you need to work and need plugs for your laptop this is a good spot, especially upstairs. I’d recommend supporting a local business instead if you can. Notts has great coffee.

The lady who served me was lovely and recommended the Peruvian blend. It was exactly as she described and very nice. The facilities were clean and well stocked. My first visit to a Cafe Nero so I will definitely be back

Friendly, pleasant place...but a long time standing at the counter waiting to order drinks from a girl who seemed abandoned to sort out the liquids singlehandedly....and it seems such complex beverages take time. Apart from that, very good!

A quiet late afternoon visit for coffees. The server girl took our order reached for plastic/paper cups but we asked for proper cups. She rolls her eyes up to the ceiling, 'We haven't got any'. Yes you have, they're right behind you on the machine.' I can't use those, you have to have these.' To the manager, she says 'they want cups.' He comes in 'Sorry, you can buy cups from us but to serve you we will give you plastic. They're recyclable you know.' Me, 'so are the cups behind you and we want our coffees in those.' Manager ' We're having problems with our dishwasher so we'd have to wash them by hand. Oh, OK you can have your coffees in cups.' All that fuss to get real cups - those things that get recycled by washing them and reusing them. Our table was covered in dirty cups (real ones) so we moved them off. They must have busy, you might say. No, there were only three other tables being used and our server girl didn’t even come to take them away. Not impressed.

I usually avoid these large chains because I resent paying over the odds for awful coffee but I have to say that the black americano I had today wasn't at all bad and the almond croissants was reasonably fresh (for 5.30pm).

Marvellous. Fresh food, on-the-go with delightful hot chocolate.

This small Nero is very nice, great location yet small and compact in nature. The coffee is fantastic and the food good. Service here though is variable, the loud and aggressively mannered manager is especially annoying when you are trying to have a quiet relaxing moment.

Good city centre location. Lots of this brand to choose from in Nottingham.seating upstairs and down with a few outside. Toilets on both floors.

I don’t often pay for coffee in town because it’s a luxury I can’t always justify. So I often expect a lot for my money when I do venture outside my home for coffee and I have to say that this Cafe Nero is my go to. They’re always consistently welcoming and their flat whites are the best I’ve had. Would particularly recommend the apricot croissant also!

i came in the other day to have my usual iced Frappe Latte drink with cream. I paid £4 for the drink which i usually pay £3.90 for. The woman who served me provided a different lid on the drink which wasn’t the same lid which is normally used to contain the cream. After seeing the lid, I told her i usually get a different lid and more cream. The woman replied saying that it would take her a long time to make some more cream. I was in a rush so I didn’t bother to escalate the situation so i left - but in the future, you should have the cream always prepped so the customers paying your wages receive the product that they pay for. The woman charged me for a product which wasn’t produced properly and then gave the excuse that it would take her a long time to prep some more cream. Terrible service from the staff.

They forgot about my toastie, it was way overdone and I had to leave for a test. They told me to return afterwards and when I returned they gave me a new toastie, and a REEEEAAAALLY good coffee and remembered me. Staff team were helpful and friendly:)

Counter service great!! However, If you want to sit and enjoy your coffee make sure you are not interrupted by selfish customer who listens in on your conversations freely and make sure the company you are with is someone you really trust. Otherwise, you just won’t remember how well your coffee tastes. Can only leave a 1 star review!!!

The tea and pastry I had was lovely, but not enough staff and the queues were long. It took a while for the tables to be cleared, again due to poor staffing. When the table was cleared, the staff member threw all the crumbs from the table onto the floor. It makes for a dirty place to sit unfortunately
