Always go here when in the area..when it was Bowens before..and now under new ownership. Very nice fish and chips with other choices on offer. Friendly, efficient service. Food served in cardboard boxes too, much better than polystyrene which can't be recycled

Chicken chunks, chips and curry sauce. Absolutely lush, tidy size portion and the service was friendly. I'd definitely call again if I was in the area.

The best fish and chips ever ,chips lush fish unblevable curry sauce lush if it was out of a packet telle but I don't think and the rissoles were like my nans and she was a butcher the best thank u xxcc

A wonderful chippy tucked away in a corner of st Dogmaels. The portions are generous and the food excellent. The service is fun and friendly. The whole shop is spotlessly clean. You can take out or eat in. The ladies who served us this week really cared about making us feel welcome. Next time I’m having the lobster and chips. Just beware that the toilets are public across the street. Payment by cash or card.

Fantastic fish & chip shop. Consistently well cooked and tasty food. The staff are always lovely too. This is my recommended place to get fish and chips in the area and this will be backed up in the summer by the queue.

Under the previous owners this used to be the best fish and chips in Wales, the haddock was beautiful with proper cooked chips and lovely curry sauce. However yesterday we drove over 50 miles to visit and they don't serve Haddock any more, just Cod and Cod bites. Due to the amount of worms that are allowed to be sold in Cod we never eat Cod (infested with worms). Check the EEC allowances for safe limits of worms in Cod! They didn't allow our well behaved dog in as they said that they were too full, so that infers if they wasn't as many people in then he would have been allowed in? In summary this venue is not as friendly or serving the same high quality as the previous owners!

Had a Friday night dinner for 4 while on holiday for the weekend cost around £50 (lots of sides) , Cod was so good in a nice light batter ,especially when dipped in the homemade tartare sauce . There Curry sauce has layers of flavour rather than the traditional plain chip shop curry sauce . The chips where a good size and the customer service was nice and friendly

BEWARE..! Rubbish, full of grease. Small portion size with high price. maybe lots of fake reviews. They want cash all the times, maybe HMRC need to investigate. This is not british but an imitation. Stingy with everything!

Small, local village chip shop. High quality fish and chips with all the extras - curry sauce, mushy pies, soft and alcoholic drinks etc. Generous portions so bear that in mind. Super friendly and helpful staff. Expect queues at peak times but freshly made food is definitely worth the wait.

Went here and had a lovely welcome by the 2 ladies cooking snd serving. The food we had, cod bites with chips and mushy peas and chicken curry and chips were delicious. Promptly cooked and hot. This great fish and chip shop is under new management and the menu has certainly improved vastly. We’ve just enjoyed one of the nicest chippy dinners we’ve ever had. It was even nicer, knowing that the chips are made from Pembrokeshire potatoes and most of the other ingredients are locally sourced. We will definitely be coming back for seconds !

Really pleased with the food and the service in this place. The staff were really accommodating and service was quick. The selection of food/drinks available is really good, and they even have a vegan option. We liked that you can have alcoholic drinks with your meal too. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were great, we chose to eat in but I had to take some of mine away as I couldn't finish it! Would definitely recommend.

We were struggling to find any food on a holiday on a Tuesday night and this lovely little chippy had a few tables so we decided to eat here, food was lovely, vegetable chilli option for the vegan, alcohol to accompany the lovely food and accommodating staff too. Would recommend.

Great fish and chips, the fish was in a light batter and the chips were made using local Pembrokeshire potatoes. There are a few tables inside and a car park just across the road.

Nervous moment when someone new takes over an already great chippy, but the new owners have managed to improve things further. Quality fish, crispy batter. Chips are a definite improvement. Slightly smaller chip cross section than typical for a chippy, but I think this has led to a better crunch. Maybe they par fry first too? Either way bloody good

Really nice chips, good selection of food and drinks on offer. Nice to see some puddings too! Good, quick service. Fair pricing given the local ingredients and food quality. The portions are reasonable. There's also a small seating area which appears to be for eating in. There's a carpark over the road which isn't free but pretty cheap as far as carparks go.

I think I must have just visited this place at the wrong time given all the other good reviews but I was served all the dog-end chip scraps that tasted like they had been cooked for ages and were mostly inedible. It amazes me in the time of social media and reviews that they would serve that up? Just tell the customer it will be a few minutes because we are cooking some new ones instead of dishing out the dregs to paying customers. Very disappointed.

I was really impressed with this fish and chip restaurant, you could tell immediately the place had a nice modern look and vibe when walking in. The menu was clear with lots of choices including for children, highlighting local produce and offering vegetarian and vegan options which is great to see. I ordered for our family of five and nothing but great feedback from the whole gang, lots of fish and chips I have had in the past can be quite heavy and greasy but the fish was fresh and lightly battered and chips excellent great sides too. All the family thoroughly enjoyed theirs and would definitely recommend going if staying local.

Late this afternoon stopped off to get some cod and chips for an early dinner. The quality of the batter on the fish was like a tempura batter which I have only been able to buy in Melbourne, Australia where I lived for many years. Both fish and chips were so good (wish I lived in Cardigan so I could indulge every week!). Haven't tasted such quality fish and chips since coming to the UK! A big thank you!

Really excellent fish and chips takeaway & restaurant. We had takeaway. Our fish was cooked to order. Batter, chips and fish all excellent. Homemade tartar sauce also very good. Next day we went for chicken nuggets - also great.

Môr Ffein offer fantastic food and goodies at wonderful prices. I have been really impressed with the food it tastes so fresh and the homemade coleslaw and rissoles are a must. We’ve had everything from lobster to fish and I can’t fault any of the food! The homemade cheesecake is also fantastic, well done to all of the staff your hard work is really reflected in your amazing food.

At first we were worried that our favourite fish and chip shop was changing ownership, and after 25 years of unbeatable service and quality I think it’s easy to say that ‘Mor Ffein’ have kept the standards very high. Their menu is traditional and classic and the curry sauce & mushy peas are 2nd to none. The fish portions were generous, and most importantly, the chips were perfect. I look forward to our next family meal there!!

We had a fantastic meal at Môr Ffein on Saturday! The special chicken curry was delicious and the chips were the best I’ve had in a while! The cheesecake was also so tasty. Although they were really busy, they were so welcoming to all customers! They work so hard there and obviously work well as a team! We will be back again soon!
