Absolutely loved the dining experience at Thai Vintage Restaurant! We went for a family birthday celebration (8 guests), and the restaurant was very accommodating with the placement of the table to give us ample space. We were very warmly greeted, and the service was exceptional. They were very accommodating with the dietary requirements, and ensured the food was hot whenever we were ready for the next course. The food was amazing, and tasted very authentic. I will definitely go again, and thank you ever so much for making the celebrations very memorable.

Lovely little place to eat, visited as a child, it has changed but still very nice. The owners and wait staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating.

Myself and my partner, went for our 8 year anniversary. We had never been before but heard wonderful things about the restaurant, so we decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did. The food was spectacular and the Presentation was beautiful! The staff was so pilot and very helpful! I honestly would recommend if you have never been, and you will not be disappointed. We look forward to going again!

Highly recommended for both romantic evenings and family gatherings. A must-visit gem in Clacton on Sea!

You can get a lot of delicious food for a very good price. I'd highly reccomend for the food alone but the decoration is also beautiful and the staff are all very friendly.

Lovely food plesant staff all in lace dress wearing brooches. Had a brooch on my coat that was on there when i went into the restaurant but had vanished when i put my coat on to leave . Incident with my bag falling off chair staff helpped pick it up waitrss standing behind chair must of removed brooch then . Very upset . Called back following evening to see if had been found . Insisted it hadnt . Accused one of my friends may have taken it . Very disappointed with attitude.

We went for a meal lastnight for my husband's Birthday. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The restaurant was really lovely, with lovely lighting. The food was amazing! We will definitely be back.

WoW superb. It's not the first time we've been here but all I can say is this restaurant keeps getting better. The service, friendliness & professionalism is beyond compare. Best of the best was to have deep fried ice-cream! Not had that for such a long time!!!

I visited here sometime last week for a relatives birthday. I have to say the food is out of this world. Flavours were amazing and it was fresh and hot. Could not fault it. Well done to you all.

Came here for my wife’s birthday, service, food and atmosphere was excellent, can not fault them at all. If they were closer to London I would be visiting them every week.

Very unappetising. We had a red curry, nice flavour but very watery. Went there because reviews were good but I would never go back.

This is a diamond in the Rough as they say. Situated on outskirts of Clacton it was quiet when we entered and we were delighted to see that they had a lunch time special which did not disappoint. Food was authentic and delicious and the service was excellent. Dont know why it was so quiet but ill be back as soon as i can on Sunday. Special mention for Nicky for great service and conversation xx people of Clacton if you like Thai food then you need to get the the Thai Vintage restaurant it is really great and at £12:95 for a 3 course lunch menu great value ❤️ Ps its right next to the Ship a great pub for a pre and post drink🍺

Really lovely place, with very lovely food at pretty good prices, Think it might benefit from more staff though, the one server I saw was looking pretty rushed and stressed.

Best Authentic Thai Restaurant food ever had in England,💯 recommend if you need Halal Thai Food. Staff is very humble and welcoming

I had the seafood soup very tasty and hot spicy hot too, my wife thr sweet corn fritters he loved them! I had the lamb shank which was massive and very tasty, my wife had the drunken beef which loved. Service was great, and served quickly. Would go again.

First visit for 2 in the party and very impressed. Good value and plenty of choice. Would recommend.

Very good service and atmosphere but PadThai was... bad. A lot of oil and not much else except nuddles. Very few veg and chicken.

Pleasant but not fantastic. Some dishes were decent (Thai red/green curry and the stir fry), pad Thai was not great. Duck starter was small for the price (3 pancakes) for £8.95.

Met up with some old school friends here for dinner last Saturday eve. This is a great Thai restaurant. Lovely food. great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would certainly visit here again!

Had an absolutely amazing meal at Thai vintage. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were very attentive and polite. Food was delicious and we left full and happy. Will definitely be back soon.

My experience at Thai village was incredible, authentic Thai food along with a kind Thai Host. The food can also be changed depending on if you want western taste/Thai taste/Western spice or Thai spice if you ask politely. I opted for the pad kra pao beef with Thai taste/extra spice. It tasted amazing and overall me and my fiancé who is also Thai had an amazing dinner, I would highly recommend for you to try.

Waitress was serving 3 tables at the same time. Food was getting cold. Son's food overcooked. Shame won't be returning.

Lovely Thai restaurant with friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. Prices are very reasonable and the food is beautifully presented and cooked. I had the Green curry which was very good and full of fresh vegetables in a very nice spicy and fragrant sauce. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed everything about Thai Vintage. The staff were all so polite, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is in a very old and quaint building and is clean and furnished with an interesting collection of Thai artifacts. The food was plentiful, really tasty and excellent quality. When the staff found out we were celebrating our engagement we were treated with a complimentary desert. Probably one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Thank you

What a lovely restuarant and atmosphere. The staff are so accommodating and provided us with such wonderful customer service... they were respectful and kind and managed our requests accordingly. I was not very hungry that day so I ordered only starters, I had the combination platter. I really enjoyed the different options on the platter and everything was cooked nicely. I tried a bit of my family dishes and everything was tasty and flavoursome. If I am ever in the area again I would definetly come back here. I would definetly recommend if you enjoy Thai food or even if you never have.

The delivery was here within 45 minutes and hot as hell which is always a plus sign of a takeaway how ever the prawn green curry only had 5 prawns 4 of them being very small . As I lived in Thailand for a year and half a lot of the food is missing a lot of the essential ingredients and replaced with others which did not comfort me as the dishes are expensive so I would like them to be authentic . The pad kee mao didn’t have fresh Thai pepper corns which are my favorite and also advertises In the photo at the front of the restaurant and the green curry does have either of the 2 types of aubergine and Thai basil and the list continues how the food was good and hot but not value for money as the wrong ingredients are used thanks bye

The food and the service was fantastic. It was a Sunday evening so was quite quiet but the atmosphere was lovely. The flavours were so authentic and we will definitely be returning very soon. I can’t recommend highly enough.

We came here for dinner and it was amazing! The restaurant inside is so beautiful, and the food presentation was 😮‍💨 We both loved our food and the server was so nice, she welcomed us in, asked if we needed any help deciding on food, and made sure we were okay throughout. Couldn’t fault the place!

This was my first experience of Thai food. I was intrigued to try it as many have told me how tasty, fresh, light, and healthier it is to Chinese cuisine. This restaurant was very welcoming, especially the staff, and helped with menu decisions. The menu was huge but this did not deter me as now I want to go back and try more things on their menu. I only gave it 4 stars as I felt the music could have been a little louder, and the decor could have been a bit more updated...like the carpet etc. Other than that. Good, food and great night out.

Im not fussed that it was 30 minutes late (I appreciate its New Years Eve) but I don’t like it when the restaurant hits “out for delivery” and it still hasn’t arrived 30 mins later. When it did arrive the delivery lady was lovely and friendly! The duck and the calamari was cold though. The mains were warm but not really hot. We were also disappointed that the calamari was described as crispy but it was really soggy and the duck barely did 3 pancakes, let alone the 6 we were given. The tub was half full and very greasy. The mains were very nice though. It’s frustrating as this place has always been amazing - good delivery times, hot food, decent portions and quality food. Maybe we’ll just put it down to being busy on New Years Eve…

We have dined at Thai Vintage 3 times now and each time the food and service has been impeccable! Will definitely keep going back and recommending to others!
