Popped in for a Birthday lunch! Wow wow wow!! My partner and myself shared one if the sharing paltters, absolutely amazing, brilliantly presented and tasted amazing and very reasonably priced. The two girls who were serving today were fabulous, friendly welcome and could not of been more helpful even pouring us a glass of water each. Thank you so much 💓

Very impressed with the family (30+) lunch event provided for us. Beef, chicken, vegetarian, vegan and kids etc options all provided. Took a little time which was actually perfect as we wanted the time together. Lovely atmosphere in the converted barn, great value for money.

Limes Farm Cafe is under new ownership and they are certainly pulling out all the stops making this a great tearoom to come and visit. Stopped here on one of my thru hikes and the staff (Rachel) are so welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely chat and coffee. Highly recommended.

Had a tasty family lunch here on Saturday. It was a really lovely atmosphere and we were really well looked after by the staff. No room left for the fab selection of cakes, so we all took a slice home! We will be back soon.

I went to limes farm for breakfast with my partner on Sunday and we are so glad that we did. We had seen some very positive reviews so decided to take the 30min journey to try for ourself. Let me say we were not disappointed. I had the large full English breakfast which was very nice. Bacon and sausage of the highest quality and the hash-brown were cooked to perfection. My partner had a sausage and egg sandwich on white bread and he loved it was filled with fillings and the bread always fresh and really tasty. Staff were all very friendly especially Rachel and Becky( the chef even came out to check on our experience. I can not recommend this place enough!! We will definitely be making it a regular breakfast destination. Thanks for making our visit very enjoyable.

The Sunday roast is fantastic! We had lamb and beef, duck fat roasties, Yorkshire pudding and lots of vegetables including cauliflower cheese. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and the chef came to our table to ask if we enjoyed the food. I would highly recommend!!!!

Great staff, welcoming and fun. The breakfast was spot on, good quality produce cooked to perfection. Plus I could not resist taking home some of the great looking homemade cakes too. Well worth a visit and i will definitely be returning.

Under new management this cafe is excelling itself. The food is delicious, the cakes are scrumptious. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are friendly. Now open 7 days a week. Second visit this year and will be going back. They also do afternoon teas and sunday lunches.

We absolutely love this place since it’s been under new management and visit regularly as it’s only a 10 minute drive from Kings Sutton. The food is delicious, mostly home made from quality ingredients and is always super tasty with generous portions that are very reasonably priced. They know how to fry an egg with a runny yoke and make a sausage roll that’s pretty hard to beat. Snacks, brunch, lunch it’s all good. The cake and sweet treats selection is vast and everything we’ve tried so far has definitely hit the spot. Especially nice when you just want a coffee and a catch up with a friend with a little something extra on the side. It’s a beautifully laid out, warm and cozy country cafe with a thoughtful small play table area for young children. Tables have plenty of space between them, perfect for more than one high chair so you don’t feel crammed in, and dogs are welcome too! The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, highly accommodating to any requests, nothing is ever too much trouble. Give this place a try and see for yourself, you won’t regret it! A gem of a place, Rachael and her team are doing a fab job. There is lots of selection on the breakfast and main menu, as well as Sunday roasts that are delicious. Then there are cakes cakes glorious cakes so many to choose from. If you haven’t visited, you simply must, if you have been before the new team took over you must must must go back. You will not be disappointed.

6 of us met here today. Great food, lovely staff, and who can resist the cake! Enjoyed a large pot of Yorkshire tea with a cooked breakfast (which we were lucky to have as it usually is only available until 11.30)whilst others in our party enjoyed amazing looking burgers. We will be coming again to try some of the luxurious sausage rolls on sale and perhaps take home their very reasonably priced home made loaves.

We popped in for brunch on a Sunday morning with some friends and it was amazing. We received a lovely warm welcome from Rachel who showed us to our table and all the food was delicious and really well presented, coffee was very good too. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

We have been visiting limes farm over the last 4 months for breakfast and a takeaway cake as a little treat. The food is consistently very very good, best breakfast around our area. We love Rachel and the chef we always have a good laugh. Super clean and tidy and great local food on offer. Cakes are amazing and the coffee is really lovely. Lovely choice of food in a beautifully converted barn

Fabulous food and fabulous staff! A perfect place to meet friends or even have a larger gathering. Nothing is too much effort for the wonderful staff. My children can be quite fussy with their food and how it’s served and small adjustments were not an issue which made my life easier. A fantastic little space upstairs for the kids to build Lego and read books. Kids menu is really tasty with high quality ingredients and the cakes are simply to die for!!! Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to go again 😀

Just had a lovely meal here ham,egg,and chips and then a delicious slice of cake with a pot of tea . Would recommend this establishment to any one who likes a pleasant friendly atmosphere.

We stopped off on route to a seeing family in Surrey. It’s only a short drive from the motorway and the perfect stop off to break up a long drive. The food was tasty and the staff were really welcoming and friendly, next time I’ll be trying the delicious looking cakes.

Went for lunch on 20/11/2023. Two from our party were vegan, and we asked to share the soup and veggie burger. They very kindly put together a beautiful plate with little portions from each of these meals for us, and it all tasted delicious. Really friendly service - they went above and beyond for us. And it's in such a beautiful location, at a lovely farm, right next to Farthinghoe nature reserve. Will definitely be going back - they had several delicious-looking vegan cakes we wanted to try, but we were too full!

Visited this lovely cafe with my son , his wife and our toddler granddaughter . We were made very welcome by the very helpful staff . We were pleasantly surprised at the child friendly space upstairs which my granddaughter loved . The food was delicious and the large cafe lattes were as good and as generous in size as Costa! Would certainly recommend!

Food was ok, but not stellar, so didn't feel like great value. My jacket potato was slightly underdone and there was not a lot of filling - with the tuna being more mayo than tuna. Setting is pleasant.

A lovely array of savoury and sweet foods presented and decorated on a slate on a stand . One of the nicest afternoon teas we have had amongst the Halloween decor . The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was not good at all. I ordered a flat white, the milk was too hot and burnt my tongue and was basically a hot milky coffee - it wasn't good. The food was basic. Bacon was thin strips, not proper bacon. I wouldn't go back for the coffee, I might try again at some point and see if the food improves.

Fantastic little place. Really friendly staff, lovely coffee and amazing cake. Rustic barn style cafe with little outside eating area. Not a huge menu, but great if you're after a light bite or just a nice cuppa. There's a little paddock area you can wonder around with some very friendly donkeys & goats. Will definitely be going back.

Really pretty venue, the tea room is very well presented with a really fresh and welcoming feel. Staff were really friendly and happy - lovely atmosphere. Loved the fact there were donkeys and goats on the farm which you can see - they seemed very contended and friendly which is always a positive sign. We went for cake and coffee which was really good - fresh cake, very nice coffee. I am very tempted by lunch from the menu and what was coming out to other tables- reasonably priced and looks very well presented and freshly prepared. We will definitely be back.

Under new management and so thought worth a visit, and we were not disappointed. My friend and I had a super lunch - we opted for the sharing platter and it was fabulous. The service was very friendly and efficient, and the quality of the food was superb. Coupled with the beautiful building, it was a winning combination. The only downside was that we didn’t have room left for cake! We’ll just have to return…. Highly recommend.

Went to Limes Farm Tea room today for some quiet time to answer emails, the free WiFi worked well, the breakfast was fantastic (as we’re the cakes) It is so good to see the place open again with new management who look like they are definitely bringing the magic back!!!

Really lovely cafe. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. There is a great kids area up the top so my husband and I could relax and have our drinks while the kids played. I would definitely come back again. The platter was incredible and you can take away any food you don’t eat.

I called in for a coffee and took home a cheese scone. It was well packed and came with chutney, pickles and tomatoes and was deliciously flavoursome, light and crumbly. The ladies who served me were happy and friendly. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Very poor service, walked out in disgust after the staff, on two separate occasions, couldn't be bothered to serve us. Matched by the "farm" which is a very few animals and a play area that might have been nice before it started falling to bits.

Somewhere different for breakfast. Pots of tea plus decent food. Toilets hit or miss with no driers but worth a visit and very friendly!!

This cafè is gorgeous. It’s so magical and warm inside. I would’ve never thought that this gem was hidden in Farthinghoe. My family and I live in Banbury and driven by and haven’t noticed it until I’ve decided to pop in and try it. I must say it’s truly cute😍. It was the perfect place to read my book and gain peace and quiet. The food I ordered tasted so delicious, as was the chocolate cake. The staff are attentive, kind and engaging. This will be my new break away coffee spot away from my generic Starbucks spot.

I arrived with a friend and was welcomed, by a friendly young team of staff. However we placed our order of coffees and pancakes with fruit. We were both impressed that despite the lack of a banana, a member of the team, obtained a banana remarkably quickly. Sadly that was the good news. The decaf flat white had to be returned, and was replaced with tea. My own latte tasted grainy, more like a filter coffee. When the pancakes arrived they were devoid of cutlery ( for pancakes with cream this is not easy ) which was promised and sadly never arrived, despite the replacement tea arriving, after the pancakes We were both completely disappointed with our experience, when on previous occasions we had enjoyed our time. On reflection we thought that it may have had to do with the number of young people behind the counter. We didn’t know if some were new and were receiving training or what the reasons were. I hope that your experience is better, but we won’t rush to go back

This place rocks! Three failed attempts at getting tea, cake and cheese toastie…it would have been easier to put man on the moon, but way less fun. The Fawlty Towers of tea rooms. Love it! Closes down about half an hour before advertised. Runs out of some foods about an hour and a half before closing and then all bets are off. Bring popcorn and pull up a seat! Barry, Chloe and Bernadette are my new urban heroes ❤️

Avoid . Waited 40 minutes for a cold breakfast, under cooked egg , bacon tomato. Cheap bread and no black pudding. Place is full of cobwebs. Staff are disinterested, not a friendly welcome or a smile. Actually got the opportunity to complain to the owner who was walking around chewing gum , mouth wide open . He said he would take my points and feedback to the staff . Judging by previous reviews I don’t think he is bothered.

Arrived around 11am on a sunday (apparently after they had a rush on but there was only a few people left). We ordered tea but waited ages despite how empty it was and 3 staff on the desk. Tables were sticky/dirty and un-cleared. No cutlery or napkins on tables so I had to wipe it myself with my baby wipes! Menus were sticky and stained with tea just left on tables (better to stand them in holders surely?). Waitresses were sweet but all young and seemed to have no guidance on what needed doing. Felt sorry for them as my niece is the same age. Two of them visited the upper area to drop items off but left without taking empty plates back with them. Clearly oblivious to the mess we were surrounded by - as was the manager. We overheard 3 other couples complaining about wait times and some saying it took nearly an hour to get a bacon sandwich so decided not to order food (nobody had asked us anyway and with a toddler we couldn’t wait that long). On the plus side….. when tea arrived it was good with a cute little milk jug. I voiced concerns and disappointment to manager who was quite defensive. Just made us feel sad as it has such potential and is a really nice place for kids with the animals out front. ‘Id cut the menu down personally - do less items - but faster and better - get staff trained on service and have a manager out front all times to direct and guide the team. Be more friendly and efficient. I’d also ditch the carpet upstairs which was utterly filthy. Place looked a bit grubby and staff seemed unhappy. A bit of a sad vibe not a happy village cafe like others we have been to. I’ve been to places which were empty but still felt better. Hope they can turn it around. These issues are easily fixed which is why it was frustrating. There are other great cafes in this area so they really need to up their game to survive.

We popped in on our way home from Brackley to banbury as we saw the sign and was hungry. We have never been here before but I'm glad we have now. I ordered the tower burger which was absolutely amazing. My husband had the full breakfast which he said was great and our son had sausage and chips. We had cake afterwards which was also good. The staff were attentive and Friendly. Will definitely visit again.

The "Fox" is a nice little tea shop, lovely staff. We were just a little disappointed that the china was stained and the ham was "mechanically recovered" from the supermarket and not produced by a local farm. I'd happily pay the extra!

Used to go a few years ago and it was great, lovely food and atmosphere. Went last weekend and was so disappointed, food has gone from great homemade items like higgidy pie to generic frozen pub food. Ordered a baked potato and it was served cold. Toastie was ok but nothing to shout about. Order took over half an hour to be served which was disappointing when the potato wasn't actually warmed up. The cake was nice however but unlikely to go back again.

We used to go here often when we lived in Brackley a few years ago. They did great food and had a nice atmosphere. We went this weekend on the way back from a trip and it was so disappointing. Instead of the lovely handmade food like the higgidy pies, it was generic frozen pub food. The sunday roast baguettes were not even available (on a sunday). The baked potato was cold so not sure how it took over 30 mins to 'cook' and make a panini. Would understand if it was busy but there was only one other table in (4 people). The cake was nice though, hence the 2 stars! At least it wasnt too expensive. Won't be going back however. Such a shame as it used to be a lovely place.

Called in for breakfast as now under management of The Fox at Farrhinghoe. We ordered 2 full breakfasts and drinks. The latte was good but the hot chocolate was tepid fortunately it was for my grandson so wasn’t a problem but would have been too...

Unpleasant staff and very average experience. Would recommend visiting one of many other nicer cafes nearby.

I knew that the team at Fox at Farthinghoe had taken over Limes Farm Team Room and was nervous but I gave it a go. I feel so sorry for Nicky the previous owner, she had created a wonderful team room with great quality food...

Visited here today with my daughter and two small grandsons. Lovely friendly, quick service. Had a toastie each and some beautifully cooked chips (plus some delicious red velvet cake to go) Would defo recommend and a peaceful setting too 👍
