Went last night (a very quiet Tuesday) celebrated our 2nd Anniversary Very friendly lady behind bar, served us. Very attentive. Food came out quick and hot! Very tasty Katsu curry. Loved the Rain forest toilets!

Thank you for a great lunch, burgers, ravioli and dirty fries all top notch and a super friendly welcome and service.

Fantastic pub in a beautiful setting, with Thenford arboretum close by. Delicious food with a seasonal menu. Very friendly and attentive staff and an exceptionally quirky but tasteful interior decor.

It's just the most delightfully quirky pub in the area. The food was exceptional, and service was second to none. Very dog friendly. 🐕

An amazing pub to visit. Check out the back room with a fine display of interesting art and design. I particularly love the Steam Punk paintings and decor. Good beer. Very friendly staff. Good food. Lovely Garden. We love it.

Friendly, attentive staff and delicious food. Slight delay due to a gas supply issue (not the pub's fault), which meant the building was also a bit colder than usual, hence the four stars. But the food was piping hot and worth the wait. Well done to everone working in tricky circumstances!

Booked a table at 3pm so a little later than we would have hoped but the pub gets busy. I ordered the steak & ale pie (absolutely fantastic) which is hand made on site. Drinks were brought to the table by our lovely waitress, and we had a thoroughly relaxing time. Only small criticism would be, it was quite cold in the pub, other than that highly recommended and we would definitely return.

Stopped here for lunch. Beautiful decor, cozy atmosphere and great service. The beef and Guinness pie was the best pie I have ever had.

Ohhh, no-ho-ho-ho....made a reservation online an hour before due to arrive. As this was not confirmed and after ringing 15 minutes before arrival with no answer, we tried our luck and got there for 12.30pm. The dour faced woman behind the bar who made eye contact when we walked in but did not acknowledge us when we got to the bar left it to the waitress to attend to us. I said we made a reservation for 12.30, and when our name was not on their list, I said I'd made the reservation online. Dour faced woman chirped in and said, "well, that's the problem, its not a confirmed booking".......absolutely great customer service.......not an ounce of sympathy in her tone. Thanks for NOT letting us know before we arrived. Needless to say, we left. Our last 2 visits here were disappointing with cold atmosphere and tasteless food with no seasoning. This was our last choice to go to giving our past experience and quite glad in a way. Sorry to say, McDonald's was the better option on this occasion.

One of the best places I have been to for service, atmosphere, drinks and especially the food. Beautiful location, the land, outdoor spaces are stunning, great decor, staff where amazing and dog friendly! I could not recommend this place enough. They went above and beyond to ensure out stay was spectacular 😀

What a place! Booked the Three Conies for Afternoon Tea for my daughters baby shower and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the room we were in was beautiful, very quirky and interestingly decorated. I cannot fault our experience and would highly recommend. The staff were very attentive and kept the freshly made tea coming! We will be back.

A gem of a pub hidden away yet easily in reach. Amazing quirky decor and lovely friendly atmosphere and staff. Nicely attentive without feeling too much. The food was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

This place was a wonderful find, we actually booked the Rabbit Hutch and thought we would eat at the restaurant also. Right from when we arrived the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, the decor is truly awesome and provides a personal feel. The food was incredibly good, they specialize in home made pies. I actually don't like pies but I thought I would given the lamb and mint filling a go, it tasted amazing. Alot of love and time has been put into both the food and the environment and service you get also. The Rabbit Hutch was also a lovely base for the evening, it had everything we needed and more and the bed was beautifully comfortable.

Lamb and mint pie with creamy herb mash with steamed broccoli and carrots which were cooked to perfection, and gravy was lovely too. Very enjoyable meal and bar staff very friendly. Stayed overnight in our motorhome will come back again sometime in the future.

Great place to eat in the area, food was very good and they cater well for a Gluten Free diet.

The warm welcome and care taken were superb. The owner and team were especially sensitive to my being there for a sad occasion and went out of their way to ensure that I got fed a nutritious, tasty dinner before I left for home.

Met up with a friend for lunch. This pub is so fun and quirky! All the decorations are really interesting and it’s definitely very unique. Service was amazing, really kind and attentive. They have a nice outside area too! Food was good, very much pub food. We shared some squid, pork belly, Caesar salad and chips. Overall, it was nice and I’d come back, would like to try the high tea! Price was very good too.

My sister organised my Hen Do and booked us a craft event alongside The Three Conies afternoon tea, and my word did it live up to potential! The food was incredible and so wonderfully presented. The staff were so amazing, Anna in particular was very friendly and attentive. We had a spectacular time, and will definitely be back in the future!

I ADORE it here!! There is so much love and passion that goes into the food, service and atmosphere here and it shows in the results! The Chef is fantastic and the menu changes with the seasons with good quality produce. The steaks are top notch! The staff are always full of energy and make me smile when I go there. They look after you very well and the decor is fabulous as well as the huge Gin selection!

We had afternoon tea, it was absolutely incredible!! The food was delicious and there was so much to choose from! I cannot get over how gorgeous and quirky the entire interior is and I cannot wait to visit again!!! X

After booking the wrong date for Sunday lunch and arriving a day late .. staff were very accommodating and understanding . We still managed to get our table for 6 and the food was fantastic … sue botwright

This place is amazing, staff very friendly, food home cooked and tasty, The dining room is like a Alice in Wonderland theme, certainly a conversation starter, so much to see and talk about. Highly recommend this place that's run by Darren and Rob and their fantastic staff. Wish this little gem was on my doorstep.

A fun and quirky place for lunch. On the pricey side but well worth it as the food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the entire place is like a museum of curiosities. We will be back!

I love this place. The food is wonderful, and the proprietors are creative and lovely people. They have made this pub a truly welcoming and relaxing place with wonderful food, the back room is a work of art and I love it!! They and are dog friendly too!!

Visited the Three Conies last night with my partner and some friends. The pub is very well decorated, quite eclectic and whimsical. The menu is limited, starters were nice but pricey, the main menu was mainly fried food which was disappointing. The menu isnt on the website so couldnt see what the food offering would be. My partner and her friend had the Katsu Curry, unfortunately both were ill overnight, which isn't a great experience. Disappointing.

This place is unique, from the quirky decor to the incredibly friendly staff there's not much room for improvement....then there's the food... Absolutely fantastic!

We used the pub as a one-night stop over with our camper van. A warm reception from the lovely owners and we enjoyed a great evening meal of your special pies in the lounge. That room has to be seen, amazing collection of items, a whole new experience! Thank you also to the owner of the Rectory who gave us a personal history about the church and the village. Together it made our short stay. Thank you.

Stopped here on the off chance of finding somewhere to eat. The interior of the pub is very quirky, and a lot of thought has gone into its presentation. Friendly staff with lovely food, highly recommend this place for a visit.

Excellent in every way, what a find! A beautiful country pub, open fire and very stylish quirky decor, it was so cosy and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Food was amazing, we had a beautiful Sunday roast , 10/10 to the chef and gluten free options were no problem. It was so nice that dietary requirements were catered for instead of simply being removed (hubby was most impressed with his GF Yorkies!). It was also good that there were other menu options should you not want a roast dinner. We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful Sunday lunch and afternoon.

Had a lovely family lunch. Staff very friendly and accommodating. One of the group is celiac which was no trouble for them. They offered a good choice of gluten free options for them. The decor was great, very qwerky! And although we didn’t sit in the garden it looks a lovely place to sit and enjoy good food & drink. We did see someone having as afternoon tea which looked amazing. Will definitely be trying that next 😋 Thank you for a great experience.

The most fantastic afternoon tea. The food was really delicious, and there was so much of it! The room was really fun and quirky. Everywhere you looked there was something else to notice. The service was also brilliant. All for a reasonable price. We will be telling everyone this is the place to go for afternoon tea.

We arrive whilst the pub was open but lunchtime meals had finished. The landlord and landlady were still willing to provide a lovely ham salad sandwich with a large side salad plus chips. Excellent value. Lovely pint of Hook Norton beer. Wish more landlords could be as friendly and accommodating

Really cool place, with great food and outside space

Stopped for lunch. Nice food- had 2 starters. Both very tasty and not the norm; Mississippi chicken wings and chicken and veg gyoza. Slightly pricey but worth it. The decoration/ornaments throughout the pub are rather unique a a little "fabulous"! Worth a visit just for that.

Warm and relaxing country pub atmosphere with open fires one side and a vibrant/flamboyant cocktail/gin bar on the other. Go just for the experience. Perfect venue for indoor/outdoor parties. Interesting and intimate garden dining area with water features, music and a few water fowl and birds to view. Ive dined here a few times in between lockdowns. The Menus are fab but there are better Sunday roasts with fresh roasts and veg for miles-(maybe due to lockdown) Reason for 4 stars not 5. The new owners had many plans going forward which included disco / Karaoke in the gin bar or garden.

A big group of us (including two small children) spent a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon at this lovely establishment. Rob & Darren, Mel (who wasn’t in that day but still managed to impress) & the lovely waitress all looked after us like we were royalty. The food was delicious & the decor topped off the best farewell Sunday Roast for a Kiwi Mum/Nana returning down South. Thank you all xx

Lovely old pub, good food & service.

Fabulous top quality food in a really fab quirky restaurant

Went for Sunday lunch and was disappointed. The place screams class inside but the food was not great. Beef was over cooked, veg was undercooked, the wine was plonked on the table with glasses and not offered to try. Mates pint of lager took 20 mins to pour because of tricky pump (should have been sorted!). The staff seemed at odds somehow as an uneasy atmosphere. Landlord cleaning cutlery sitting in the bar area when we left….not quite what you expect. Love the pub but needs to up its game in a few places. Hopefully it was a one off bad experience

Good food and service at a reasonable price

Went here for my wife's birthday 4 adults 2 kids .2 rounds of drink 6 starters 6 mains 1 dessert and loved it . Atmosphere was good .service was good . Menu was decent and changes regularly . sort of steam punk and arty interior which you can purchase some lovely bits . Will definitely revisit

Attended a wedding held here and can't fault a thing, the venue is wonderful, the food was amazing, and the staff were second to none throughout the entire day they were friendly, helpful, are a credit to the establishment.
