Great boozer for the west end folk, location is great to spend the night here or continue on for a bar crawl, price of a pint is still quite steady and the bar staff are friendly. Would defo recommend coming here for the football, came here a couple of times for the Scotland games and it’s always very busy but they can also show multiple games at the same time which is great to their customers who maybe don’t want to watch the match which is on the big screen at the time. Wide range of pints as well which is ideal.

Popped into this popular West End establishment with some friends. Good choice of beers and wines, spirits etc. Friendly and helpful staff and a good menu too. Also shows football matches on a big screen and has lots of other screens throughout too. I can recommend this public house.

Good Bar, good service good atmosphere

Took a long time to get the food but it was excellent when it arrived.

This used to be a really good place for a pub lunch and a cheap and cheerful pint, but it has been steadily going downhill since the Greene King takeover. Prices are higher than in Ashton Lane and quality does not match. Today we came during a hour long break during a conference around the corner for what we hoped would be a quick pub lunch. We picked a table in a quiet corner with the TV turned off so no annoying screen, within less a minute a member of staff helpfully turned up just to turn it on and disappeared again. Oh well. That was the only thing that happened promptly. The place was half empty but it took between 20 and 50 minutes to be served food, the full portions for some reason came out last so the hungriest people had to wait the longest and then had to chuck the entire meal down within 5 minutes, while those who ordered only a small snack already finished it ages ago. When we checked if the last meal was coming as it has been 45 minutes since it was ordered, five minutes since the previous plate arrived, and still no update, we were told "in two minutes" and five minutes later still nothing. Not sure we will be back and not sure if I could currently recommend this place to anyone else - unless you have a few hours to kill. EDIT: took off one star after the response of management - I thought we were just spectacularly unlucky but it turns out that they chose to understaff the place on what they expected to be a busy day, which is highly unfair to staff. Also orders were put in individually because most of us ordered food via the app and grabbed a drink from the bar - so no, we were not told it was 40 minute wait.

Big friendly boozer, with a good beer choice (including plent of non-alcoholic beers and ciders) More TV's than I have ever seen, so defo good for a sports evening. Admittedly we were in early afternoon, but it was 'so cold'.

Mac n cheese was delicious. Service was great and food came quickly. Nice place to have a late lunch

Just popped in for a quick pint, Moretti tasted a bit off to me.

Great for hosting events, mingling, getting hammered at 2pm, an all around gem.

Went for food and drinks,fish, steak pie and Mac and cheese were all great,but behind the bar why no Smirnoff vodka.Its the most popular and the only one my wife can drink.Thats my only disappointment.

Football lovers paradise screens all around

Went to Coopers to watch football ⚽️ and loved the atmosphere and met nice people. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Found its a thistle pub. Lovely decor and have a good food menu. 👌😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🎶 Will visit again.

The girl that brought us food gave us unbelievable service through the time we were in Cooper's being a service manager for over 30 years she really was one of the best 👌

I used to live in Kelvin Bridge this pub used to be our supermarket it was called coopers fine fare (funny old world) so that's why we went into the bar.

Great range of screen to watch the rugby and football. Very busy, but service as good as could be expected on such a busy night.

Good cheap pub. Great for sports and the staff were all extremely friendly and happy to be of service. Lacked a bit of atmosphere on a Friday night however, with no music while we were in.

Came here with a group of friends after a work event and had a few drinks (so I can't comment on the food). Overall we had a great time - they had a decent whisky selection which is what I was after but those who got beers were happy as well! Drinks were well priced, and the staff were fantastic. Its a big place, and so unless there is a big game on it can seem quiet; if you're looking for a bustling pub atmosphere its maybe not the best. But then again, it was a thursday evening. Our group had a wonderful time and in a way its refreshing to be able to talk to the person sitting two seats away from you and actually hear what they are saying.

Quiet Wednesday night but clean and tidy plus bar staff friendly

Came here for my wee sisters 18th birthday and the food was nothing short of spectacular, I ordered the steak medium/well (don't judge me!!) and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had in my life and everyone else at the table were on cloud9 too.. Mac n cheese was amazing, the chicken wings were another winner, "BANGIN" tbh.. and I tried some fish and chips.. wow what a portion!! And tasted dynamite aswell 10/10. You can get a good laugh wi the staff members n the chef who all went over and above to make sure my wee sister had a great time. So, Aye.. Absolutely, definitely going back again and will highly recommend thi space to anyone that enjoys good food and a friendly face! Compliments to: MasterChef Gaz, Cammy and Kirsty!! Cheers guys, had a great night n you will be seeing us all again very soon!! 😊👍 *Also, extra bonus.. Coopers is dog friendly too soo bring your dug doon for some fish n chips n a pint!! Sorted!!

Beautiful looking place. The beer selection is good but pretty standard (ie no micro brewery beers)

I sometimes work from Coopers for an hour or two and its okay. Staff aren't overly friendly and the atmosphere isn't great. Toilets are clean and in the women's toilet there is a toilet that has a stool and smaller seat for children to use. The WiFi is good and free.

Rather empty on a Thursday evening, so little atmosphere but it meant there was plenty of space. On another visit, there was still space but none of the IPA beers were available - just lagers & ciders.

Great pub to visit in great location modern deco and very friendly staff always made to feel welcome. Would recommend to meet up with family and friends 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went for a few drinks with some friends. Pub has a great atmosphere and staff are amazing !! Stephen , Lewis and Callum were super friendly and chatty. Had a great laugh with them. The manager was also great, everyone getting the job done but still having fun!! Will definitely be back again. Thanks guys!!

We had chris as our server, was very accommodating and knew his stuff about whiskey and recommended some lovely measures. Had a few rounds of food including a platter and and sandwich, was TASTY. Shall be back. KW

We had a lovely evening with family on Friday. We had been taken out for dinner and drinks by relatives - who wanted to treat us, they weren't too keen on using the app to order so Stephen was super helpful and set up a tab and served us beautifully all evening. He was attentive, very very patient, took specific meal requirements from the pickier members of the group and checked in on us regularly. He even let us know when he was going on his break! My family had a great night. Thanks Stephen!!

Before my shift at work, I had time to grab a bite to eat here. Great place. Large and would be great for big hosting. Food is good, customer service solid, and a lovely view outide in a trendy part of the city. Top marks all round.

Gorgeous pub with fantastic staff. Stephen went above and beyond and really made it a wonderful time! Perfect pub for sports events, with plenty of tvs. Loads of different seating options (including outdoors) and high ceilings mean it never feels too crowded.

Super fast service even when there were many tables in. Really attentive to the fact that I had a dog, offering water and treats!

Firstly can I say the Mgr on duty was fantastic got a gab with him , Think he was just back from his holiday well let me tell you the guy made my occasion brilliant not been in coopers for a while & wow on a busy footy night it was class service very professional team drinks & food where class & speed was brill, COVID wise the layout n planning was brill plenty of room for distancing etc, what got it for me was the Mgr was constant on touching the tables every table to make sure everyone was fine & enjoying themselves in the right way hat off to you guys yous should all be proud of making a great night for everyone in your pub during the Scotland vs England game... I was at table 26 really enjoyed it , highly recommend this Venue spot on...

Llamé con anticipación para reservar una mesa, pero me dijeron que no podían aceptar una reserva por teléfono, pero de todos modos estaría tranquilo. Pensé que esto era un poco extraño en las circunstancias actuales de Covid - 19. Llegó y se le mostró la mesa. Visitamos durante la pandemia de covid 19. El personal nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos y seguros. Caitlin fue maravillosa. Muy amable y hablador. También nos atendió Karol, que fue profesional y amable. Todo el personal fue muy claro sobre las reglas y sabíamos exactamente lo que se requería de nosotros. Recomendado para un gorro de noche.

Visitamos para almorzar el día 4 que acaba de pasar. La comida y las bebidas estaban bien, pero nos dijeron que solo podíamos hacer pedidos a través de la aplicación a pesar de que el WiFi en la nube no nos permitía unirnos y, después de pedir algunas bebidas a través de la aplicación, tuvimos una espera de 25 minutos antes de tener que subir al bar. y pregunte cuándo llegará el pedido.

Visité aquí para ver fútbol. Reservé la mesa con anticipación y esto funcionó bien ya que notamos que se rechazó a un montón de personas. Buena configuración del sistema de seguimiento y localización, un sistema de una vía en funcionamiento que funcionó bien. Aconseje que descargue la aplicación Greene King que ayuda a que el servicio siga funcionando. Buenas pintas, un poco caras, pero lo que se espera del West End. Gran servicio del personal en el piso que dirigió un servicio muy eficiente. Los inodoros solo se bajaban porque el piso era como una piscina a veces, aunque el personal intentaba fregarlo regularmente para minimizar el riesgo de resbalones. En general, una gran noche, buena comida y un gran lugar para ver fútbol / deportes.

Staff were incredible, amazing fresh pints, great atmosphere, safe environment. I was served by Lois, and then order take by Stephen. Both were quick efficient and very friendly. The pub seems very busy but service was very quick. Well done to the team

One of my favourite buildings in Glasgow. Amazing corner plot and tower. Had a relaxing beer in here - great pint of Beavertown neck oil. Where do they get those glasses from ? Menu looked good but didn’t have time to eat today.

The service at the bar is really efficient. Food is excellent value for money and good quality. Large spacious bar with lots of TV screens. Always a good atmosphere in the bar at night.

This bar is not sure of it’s opening times. On website 11am for alcohol (licensing laws) and 10am for food. Only to be knocked back at 10.15 for breakfast by a rather rude member of staff. Doors were open. Rather confused. Told the bin outside the door should have told you we are not open. What? Would not recommend. Will not be back. Avoid.

Went here one late afternoon for a quick meal before going to Websters which is a few minutes walk away. Nice pub with TVs everywhere. The food arrived quickly and tasted nice. The only real downside is that, during the day, parking around this area of Glasgow is a bit of a nuisance.

My friend was up in Glasgow for a visit and wanted to experience the classic pub vibes in town so I took her for lunch here and she loved it! Burgers are nice and drinks are average price.

Superb bar doing a great range of beers and wines. I drink Blue Moon, which is served here, and is supposed to be served with a slice of orange. Only pub in Glasgow which I've visited that does this. Great selection of food and close to all transport links. One of the best pubs in Glasgow!

He estado bebiendo y comiendo aquí por años pero nunca los revisé. Decidí que ya era hora, no creo que haya tenido una mala experiencia en este lugar. La comida siempre ha sido buena y las cervezas decentes también, mantienen los vasos en la nevera, como debe ser. Por encima de todo, por lo general, siempre es el mismo personal y siempre son amables. . . La chica rubia de fresa de pelo corto (?) En el bar siempre es particularmente agradable. El tipo que creo que es el gerente es un chico muy agradable también.

We host a pub quiz every year at coopers and it's always very busy. The staff handle it great, so a huge thank you for them for accommodating us, and an extra huge thank you to the bartender who went across the road to grab her laptop when our failed us this year, she was a lifesaver!

We had eaten in a pub in Aberdeen a few days earlier and this pub had a totally different name and decor, but exactly the same menu. Good variety of meal options, prices comparable and portion sizes good. Staff were courteous, but nothing extraordinary. Order and pay at bar, then food is delivered to table.

Nice clean pub. Very friendly and the food well presented. Price like any other pub. Bacon cheeseburger excellent choice. And kids chicken hunter nice size and ice cream included. Is you want fish and chips the size is incredible big.

It's a place welcome to all. I think it's underrated and that many people dislike it for one reason or another. However, I like the place and I think it's great because it's accommodating for all types of people - young, old, etc. I love the Fish&Chips; here, but my friends have disliked it. It can host private events, and it's a large space. On the corner of Great Western and Bank Street, it's a notable place to meet up.

My partner bought me a beer here half way through poring they changed the keg. The taste was very strange so i took this back to the bar. They lied and said it wasnt and told me if i wanted another i would need to pay for it. Well done belhaven another rubbish pub!

They served some warm beverages when the weather was not nice, I rate 5/5. I would have rated 6/5 but that doesn't really make sense. But rest assured if it did, this visit would have been a strong 6/5

Enjoyed a few drinks with friends before going down the road to Paesano. Staff were pleasant and efficient and prices reasonable for the west-end.

Lots of TV's and a spacious and well organised bar. Big screen is good quality. Overall I would recommend.

Wir haben das Pub zufällig gesehen auf unserem Weg zurück. Sind spontan zum Mittagessen rein, gute Auswahl an Pub Food, wir hatten einmal Fish and Chips (sehr gut und es war auch nicht nur dick Panade) und einen Burger. Preis Leistung stimmt.

On arrival the bar restaurant was very clean, busy due to rugby on the big screens. Got a seat table area was again nice and clean we looked at the menu which is pub grub but a nice selection. You order at the bar which wasn't a problem plenty of staff who were all very friendly. Plenty of drinks choice available as well. After ordering the food the staff were prompt with the cutlery and condiments. Then the food arrived a short time later which was very nice I went with the Balmoral burger highly recommend and my wife went with the tikka. For eating in great western road this place is fantastic for prices.

Been a couple of times this week, amazing service, so very prompt. Decent lunch menu and the food is actually worth a punt. Brilliant value for money.
