I am not in favour of wethespoons pubs in general. This one was modern, Clean and well laid out. Service was good. Pub 80% full.

Proper Wetherspoons, not too busy like the counting house.

Didn't eat here but others did. Had a good atmosphere and was mobbed but was a Saturday and Easter weekend. Would definitely return and recommend.

"Bouncers" (professional bullies) ruin the whole experience

Spacious and a lovely ambience. In the afternoon there is an older clientele who are very well behaved!

Music gets cranked up at 9pm so forget having a conversation after that.

Went for breakfast. Slightly more limited menu than some Wetherspoons (eg no American breakfast) but as ever, good service, good value, friendly (and for a Saturday morning, quiet with plenty of tables-all good)

Great little place for a quick bite to eat durning lunch or breakfast. Fast and efficient. What more do you want.

Well located and the same value for money as the chain

Love going to Wetherspoons, and this one was no different. The atmosphere was good and relaxed. The food was great and the service was very good. It gets busy at times, so having the app got food and drinks quicker. Another reason I visited this pub is that they are one of only 2 in Scotland that sells Shipyard ale. Unfortunately, they were out of stock when visited!

Good atmosphere and cheap … weekly deals and a great place to start the night

Went to this venue headding to scottish darts open (3 friends from aberdeen) 16/2/24. Ordered through the app (3 pints of tennents, burger and chips, peperoni pizza and all day breakfast and what followed was abysmal, Took 50 minutes to get our pints of beer and even when we went to the bar and asked if we could get them and got refused. Pepperoni pizza dough was slightly raw in the middle underside and so much grease run off you could have sailed a boat. Burger resembled ghandi's slipper dry and dehydrated from sitting under the lights so long. All day breakfast a joke, undercooked bacon, fried eggs you could bounce off a wall, microwaved sausages (look warm in middle and skin tough as boots) looked a total mess that came after a 1 hour long wait.

Sirloin steak poor. Used to be much better. Will have fish and chips next time.

Great service, food quality is top notch, very clean and modern, quieter in the mornings for breakfast so ideal place to visit, friendly staff. A+++++ recommended.

My friends and I go regulary to the society rooms. We are all elderly and we always receive amazing service from Ross Love. He is extremely helpful, bringing our drinks to the table, really chatty and absolute credit to your company! Every time we go in, he greets us with a huge smile, helps us to our table and checks in with us regularly. What a star 🌟

Very quick service and helpful staff

This is one of the four out of the five Spoons in the city centre in to 2024 Good Beer Guide. Only a limited choice of cask ale on today but the ale I tried was fresh on and a pleasure to drink. There’s not the splendour as of some of the other nearby Spoons but it has a good central location.

A nice Waterstones. Clean, not cramped, and nice staff.

Best Wetherspoons I've ever been in. Clean, tidy, spacious, chilled, great staff, good hot breakfast. Well done gang. This is how 'Spoons should look as feel.

Cheap snd cheerful with good quick service

Wetherspoons always have it a bit rough, but this is a decent one in my option. Good selection of drinks, and despite being in the centre of Glasgow, the prices aren't as crazy as some of the others around. Its fairly big in there, so normally able to get somewhere to sit easily enough. Using the app (I tend to use it if the bar if particularly busy) does present too long of a wait. Same goes for the food, as quick as some of the smaller pubs. Food was decent in there, had a mixed grill with a few extras and was all decent enough for the price.

Good setup for a Wetherspoons, good location and decent beer, plenty of room to move and get a seat

Very busy spoons. Ordered drinks and food via the app and both arrived quickly. Decent offers for drinks and meal at great prices. Bit of a walk from central and up hill but worth a visit you might struggle for a table despite the place being huge.

Like to come here as you can actually have a conversation without shouting. It is a lovely and calm atmosphere. The service is great. Very pleasant and friendly. The staff are very accommodating if you have any problems or questions. Good choice of food, tasty and big portions. They do a really great breakfast. You don't have to wait long for your food to be served. Another thing I like, you can use the app to order food and drink. This is good if you don't like to go to the bar to order. The only gripe I have is with the breakfast menu! They stopped making pancakes with bacon and maple syrup☹️. This is a great place to come with your kids.

Service super slow not even busy. Barmaid with pink hair was rather rude towards us at the bar when we were asking for drinks, absolutely not on.

The barmaid was so rude to me a disgrace honestly made me so upset plus one time I was told to cover my football top but today rangers tops were on display Will not be back and will share will all my subscribers

Large bar area plenty of tables to sit and eat and drink , busy for a monday had the turkey it was nice but mash left in microwave a little bit too long. partner had gourmet steak it was good 👍

I'm not the biggest fan of Wetherspoons no music policy. Went here after out Christmas lunch. Gret selection of beers and a space to dance on! Awesome!

Very popular 'Spoons on a Friday evening the choice of Real Ales was better in the Sir John Moore though!

Παραγγείλαμε ένα Ramen ,ένα steak και ένα chicken tandoori και ήταν όλα εξαιρετικά σε πολύ προσιτές τιμές.

Ideal for a coffee at a reasonable price, and even better when the price includes refills

Good meeting place, just it wasn't geared up to have large group seating areas ready for groups without having to do furniture removals which is what we had to do!

Probably the worst Spoons experience ever. Double Cheeseburger and Chips and Chicken Strip Burger ordered and both were terrible. Burgers burnt to a crisp and 14 chips lol. Chicken Strips were hard and 16 chips... No garness no sauces on burgers. Drier than Moses sandals 🩴

Great service and value. Had a meal with my partner and 2 kids. There was a small issue with my daughters meal but that was resolved quickly and without a fuss.

Ordered a drink through the app, which crashed after making payment, checked banking and money had been debited, approached bar staff who stated there was nothing they could do about it, when I asked to speak to manager he claimed he was the manager, when I challenged this he admitted wasn't and went and brought the real manager who persisted with the same litany and refused to supply the drinks I had paid for. I decided to leave , but before I did I asked the original staff member for managers name, someone then appeared from security (very disheveled looking) and claimed they are not allowed to give out the manager's name (who incidentally was wearing a name badge that I failed to note), manager continually hid out the back and refused to engage.

I order toast , hashbrown and feta cheese as i dont eat meat or eggs and my sides all come on one plate with eggs bacon and sausage so i couldnt eat it as everything was touching

Overall a lovely meal with nice staff. A good selection of delicacies ranging from a chicken tikka masala to a steak and kidney pie (My stepdad has a liking for the bierra morettis). Unfortunately the breakfast meals occasionally are a little bit cold but otherwise they are usually good temperature meals. Luckily for all the desert lovers there are a few choices but watch out for the cookie crunch as it is a bit underwhelming, (dont worry its still nice).

Cheep and cheerful. Friendly staff. I visit during breaks from my work. Get the full breakfast. Good price, big plate. Also the coffee is refillable. Get what you pay for. At certain times it's too busy but early visits the place is very quiet. I'd say before 1030 is the best time.

Travelled from Blackburn to see family. Service was excellent even though the place was packed. All had a nice time. Food was good. The atmosphere was brilliant. Music playing then DJ. Wouldn't get that in Blackburn. Breakfast was the best. Really good place.
