Went in for food with wife but chef was ill...Salt and vinegar crisps then lol...assistant manager Martin and his staff still made it a great night. Well done

Nice place. Really friendly community atmosphere. Staff and management pleasant and talkative. Value for money too. Think my pint was less than £3.40.

Brilliant pub. The best in Glasgow for a casual night out or if you’re heading to a game at Hampden. Sean the manager is an absolute gentleman and always happy to help Brilliant pub!

I supported one of the lady’s I work with for lunch, she really enjoyed the seniors lunch, there was a great selection for a great price! I had 3 small plates and they were beautiful. The waitress was lovely and very attentive.

Local pub, great food. Not the usual local pub quality. Food is fresh. I recommend the sirloin steak and the bacon and blue burger!

Back again, really do think this place is underated. Solid Southside boozer, friendly accomodating staff. Basic simple pub grub favourites and an array of TV's for sport. Have managed to strike the balance between somewhere you can take the family for a bite, or sit watching the game with the gang.

Excellent venue and excellent value! Staff were very helpful and attentive. Would definitely recommend their lunch menu for choice and value. Also do a Seniors 2 course lunch for £6.99. Same menu but smaller portions. We will certainly be back.

We had lunch and a couple of drinks around lunch time. We came back in the evening but the manger wouldn’t let us back in. He asked my child for ID when we explained he was 18 but didn’t have ID he told us we couldn’t come in. The next family had children around 10/11 years old. He told them they were welcome until 7pm. When we explained to him what he had done he told the security to remove us from the front door. I can’t understand how he picks and chooses what children are allowed. 🤷‍♂️ Also the manager sooke to use like s**t the security staff were really over jealous.

Honestly, they let down my friend on her engagement party. The people there made the night, but the venue and service didn't help. The food was abysmal; cold on service, bland, and unseasoned. Drinks service? Well, £2.60 for a can of Coke in dirty glasses. Need I say more? The security guards were unwelcoming and an unnecessary presence when not required. Overall, the bar staff were lovely and really engaged with everyone they were serving. It would be easy to point the finger at the managers here, but the issues with the establishment stem from those calling the shots at the top. More could be done to improve. Price wouldn't be a concern if the quality of the products sold could justify it.

Had a lovely lunch and drinks with a friend today. Waitress was lovely and very helpful and attentive (sorry don’t know her name). We were sitting by the fire on a cold day which was very cosy. I would definitely recommend the Beechwood for a meal, drinks and catch up

We come through from Edinburgh with the Roseburn tartan army and always have a great time pre and post match! Always really busy and the bar staff do great job, the guys on the door are decent too. Cheers, see you next year!

Only ever been on football match days but a great place to spend time before heading off to Hampden. Although a limited menu on match days it is understandable given the number of people ordering. The food is still of good quality. Plenty of staff working very hard dealing with a very busy pub and very well done to everyone. They even put the world cup cricket final on a TV screen for us. Haggis, neeps and tatties would be great for match days 😉

Visited before the recent Scotland game. The pub was very busy but plenty staff to get you served quickly and all seemed to be enjoying what must’ve been a tough shift. Great tunes on the get the atmosphere going and reduced food menu ensured everyone got their burgers etc quickly despite the big numbers of orders. Well done to all the team. See you next time.

Excellent venue, well run operation minutes from Hampden South Stand. Very busy before sell out Scotland game however Staff worked non-stop. I travel with the Roseburn Bar TA and we are looked after so professionally.

Great big space to fit our large bus party into. I travelled with the roseburn bar and they set aside space for us to use. Staff were friendly and coped well with the pre hampden busy spell. Good value and good location

We have had drinks within the Beechwood on various occasions throughout the year with the Roseburn Tartan Army. Staff are always accommodating and service is always good.

I run a supporters bus from the Roseburn Bar in Edinburgh and we visit the Beechwood before and after Scotland football matches at Hampden Park. Sean and his staff are excellent and very hospitable to our party of 50 plus people. Sean is always accommodating with booking tables in the pub, parking for our bus and contributing prizes for our raffle. The Beechwood itself is a great venue with a friendly atmosphere at all times, service is fantastic and always with a smile. Thank you to Sean and his great team.

First time here - great facility for my son who is wheelchair bound - staff very friendly on busy night before Scotland game - will definitely come back and recommend to others

Came with our tartan army bus and the welcome was amazing - dedicated space and tables set aside. Also great accessibility as one of our party is a wheelchair user so toilet facilities etc were brilliant

As a small group of friends we meet here once a month for a few years now and have had no issues before, however today was a different kettle of fish. Firstly was advised that there is a new policy in place, we had to open a tab with a bank card. Secondly we ordered our food, waited 40 mins for 4 meals, we were the only table that ordered food. One of the meals was cold and another was lukewarm. The meal that was cold was sent back and on its return was definitely reheated in a microwave. We ordered coffee which we all felt that it was very bitter. The staff stated that they would deduct the cold meal from our bill, to which they did. We did leave a substantial tip [which covered the meal and more]as we always do. However we decided that this will be our last visit and will look for somewhere else.

Really good atmosphere and good boozer. Lots of TVs with sports on all around the place and nice seating area outside. Well worth a visit especially if going to Hampden for an event. Even had Loch Lomond 12yo dram for £2.99. great boozer!

Visited here with my wife, daughter and grandkids. We had a starter which we didn't have to wait too long for, but our mains were somewhat longer. When Mty grandson woke we ordered him a brownie and ice cream. That dessert took longer than the main courses. At least 30 minutes which was really frustrating.

At a wake the staff were lovely and attentive and the food was beautiful thank you so much Beechwood you done my Auntie proud

Large bar/restaurant. It's a Greene King bar with a similar menu to other such restaurants. App to order from your table. The bacon and blue burger was great. Okay Sunday roast. Nice design and look. Bathrooms could use some updating and better attention. A lot of TVs to watch sports on.

Came for food with hubby and kids and wee all loved it brilliant value for money especially the kids meals wee got haggis fritters awww they were delicious also the halloumi fries and Italian sausages was also delicious my hubby loved the fish and chips, I had a steak loved how you got onion rings with it the kids loved the DIY tacos then off course wee had to have dessert Eton mess Sunday ,chocolate fudge cake kids had brownie with ice cream let's just say wee will be back also staff were friendly made us feel welcome even gave the kids active sheet while wee waited for dinner thank you

Nothing special. Might be better in the summer. The new beer garden might help. I will go back and hopefully it will be better next time.

Went in for their lunchtime specials, toasti, chips and drink. Whoever they have in kitchen does not know how to make toasties. All three toasties were more like bread shown some heat. One in particular steak toasties was sent back and money refunded. Can't fault serve from Amanda who offered other options but safe to say would definitely give this a lunchtime miss.

Great Christmas party for the children, Amanda and team done amazing job, kids loved it, lots of games and goodies, roll on next Christmas we will be back.

Attended the wonderful family fun day on 18/12/2023. Everything was really well done. Food was yummy. The 2 girls running the event and the dj were fabulous. The children really enjoyed the games and the grinch coming to give them generous goodie bags.

Family was at a halloween party on sunday the kids enjoyed it will be back for christmas events

Understaffed, didn't get function suite we booked for a funeral, placed in the bar with other customers, overpriced finger buffet for 25 people £285 We booked the function suite for approximately 40 people for Tues 25th Oct. On arrival we were seated at one end of the bar. There were 2 waitresses serving us, rushed off their feet and wouldn't have time to have a chat with. When asked for the bill, there was a breakdown, and at the bottom it stated finger buffet for 25 £285, we were quoted £7.95 ph

Good pub I've stood at the bar for 5mins to get service not a member of staff to be seen also the 4 or 5 guys standing at the bar shouting and swearing at one another very off putting
